The campus is very beautiful, and the environment is also very great.

Placements: Placement is average. The highest placement is 16 LPA by Trident, and the lowest placement is 5 LPA by Vedant. They are some good companies: Trident, Reliance, and Vardhaman core companies. You also have opportunities in the IT sector. Placement mainly depends on you; if you have good academics, then your opportunities increase. The average placement percentage for students is 70 to 80%.

Come to the chemical industry.

Placements: About 85 to 87% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 51 LPA by Amazon, and it was on campus. The lowest package is 3 lacs per annum by the chemical industry, and still, the placement sessions are going on. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Uber, Swiggy, Zomato, and Amazon visited our campus, and 80% of students got internships in our course. The roles are offered in the chemical industry, including coding jobs.

NIT Jalandhar college life and placements.

Placements: In my final year, the placements are bad compared to what they used to be. In the CSE branch, only around 65% of students are placed, and that too with a low CTC. In other branches, the situation is even worse. And the college doesn't want to make efforts to bring companies and leaves it to students alone.

If you want to live NIT life join here but forget about placement in textile branch.

Placements: The placement situation in the textile branch is extremely unfavorable. Moreover, the training and placement cell no longer provides adequate support to the textile branch. A majority of the students in our branch are left to find placements on their own. In the year 2024, out of 66 students, only 20 were placed from the textile branch. The condition of the textile branch at NIT Jalandhar is significantly worse compared to the CSE branch in both state and private colleges. Additionally, it is im...

Consider this option only if you have genuine concerns.

Placements: With around 13 branches of B.Tech. and more than 20+ specializations for M.Tech., the placement offered by the college is better than some other IITs too. However, this college is often neglected by most video makers. The placement for B.Tech. is quite satisfactory, but for M.Tech., it is very, or, you can say, almost negligible. The institute has many high records in placement, and students have secured packages not only in lakhs but also in crores. The placement process at NIT Jalandhar can be...

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: The college excels in providing good placement opportunities for its students, however, it falls short in offering on-campus internships. As an Engineering student, it is mandatory to complete an internship during the third year, failure to do so may result in academic setbacks. Unfortunately, the internship rate at our college is disappointingly low. Specifically, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, and Information Technology students have a 45% internship rate, while M...

NIT Jalandhar: A mix of strengths and weaknesses.

Placements: The placements at NITJ were strong until last year, i.e., for the 2023 passouts. However, this year, in 2024, due to a recession, there has been a decline in placements. Notably, prominent tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon didn't visit this year. The number of students placed this year is remarkably lower compared to the previous years.

Low placement but NIT Jalandhar.

Placements: Internships and placements need to be found by the students themselves. The placement scenario for our textile branch is not very good. Students have to contact the company themselves for a job. The student placement ratio is lower at our college. The textile branch got its highest placement percentage of 77% in 2017. Earlier, many IT companies allowed textile branches, but nowadays, due to the heavy crowd, our department does not get many opportunities from IT companies.

Placements: Textile is the only branch that is only in two central-level colleges, IIT Delhi and NIT Jalandhar. Being the unique branch, the placement opportunities The textile branch at NIT Jalandhar is not very good. Around 50% of students get placed in our course. Trident, Reliance, Grasim, and Khadim are some of the best recruiters of all time. The highest package that stood offcampus for the textile branch is 60 LPA by South Korean Textile Company, but this is off-campus. The highest package through of...

Review of PSU- The Civil Engineering.

Placements: The placement of civil engineering is average. The branch is suited if you want to give the GATE exam and want to do jobs in some of the major PSU companies. Most of the students that come here are not for placement but for PSU companies to study for the GATE exam. The placement of the scene is around 60–70% every year. Very few core companies in civil engineering come here. Most of the students were placed with NATINO and NAMO. Few IT companies allow us to sit for placement.

Dissatisfied with NIT Jalandhar.

Placements: In this current placement year for 2024 passout students recession had hit them very widely. Till now for 2024 passout only 46% placement had done including all branches of NIT Jalandhar this percentage is declining year by year. In 2022 the placement percentage of college is 72% and in 2021 it was 86%. The alumni our too in not in the position to help as they were also hitted by recession. Placements: 50% of students get placed on our course. The highest package is INR 21 lacs per annum by Trident Group and the lowest package is INR 2 LPA by RSWM Limited. The average package is INR 6 lacs per annum. The chances of being placed in our branch are relatively low as compared to other branches. The college does not have a good placement record for core branches. The students were mainly placed in IT companies and textile companies. The students were given internships on their own. For placement, the companies that come up are Arti Leyland, Maruti Suzuki, and BPCL PSU, which offered INR 18 lacs.
