NIT Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: We are the 2024 batch. Our batch will graduate in 2028. Companies like Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Shapoorji Pallonji, and Hindustan Construction Company often visit the campus for internships. These are highly competitive and offer exposure to real-world projects.

Placements: In Chemical Engineering, NITJ achieved 100% placements in 2024, with an average package of 7.89 LPA. The highest package was 15.17 LPA at Amazon in the tech stream. Placements in all branches are above average, with good quality students and a good placement ratio.

Placements: This is our first batch of Mathematics and Computing at NIT Jalandhar, and so there are no prior records of placement. But since this branch is very much similar to CSE, the expected average package would be around 14-15 LPA, as per my understanding. Top recruiting companies are mainly IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, etc. In my course, the top roles are mainly of AI and ML experts. Students also got expertise in IT and Data Science.

Placements: About 95 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 51 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 13 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Oracle. About 60 percent got internships in top companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Tata. Top roles offered are Data Analyst, Software Developer, and many more.

Placements: Placement of Mechanical engineering department is 100% this year the highest Package 18 LPA and the lowest one 5 LPA 20-30% students got internship this year. Most of students got placement by PPO and internships. I don't remember correctly the names of top recruiting companies.

Placements: Placement at NIT Jalandhar is very impressive. I'm not sure about other branches, but in my branch, last year's placement was very good. The highest salary package for my branch (Industrial and Production Engineering) offered is 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The highest salary package for my college offered is 52 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA.

Placements: NIT Jalandhar is a prestigious college in the country, offering various internship and placement opportunities for its students. In my batch, 95% of the students secured placements, which is a testament to the quality of education we receive here. It is an honor to study here.

Placements: The average salary package offered in the B.Tech course is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered in the tech branches is 13 LPA. Around 95% of students were placed in top branches. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Oracle, Google, Paytm, and Atlassian. The highest salary package offered by Atlassian is 64 LPA.

Placements: The placement percentage of the current passed batch was about 95 percent. The highest package offered was 52 LPA by Microsoft, and the average package was about 12 lacs. The companies that recruited students included Google, Oracle, and Microsoft, as well as some core companies.

Placements: Almost 98% of students got placed in the Chemical Engineering department. The highest package of 35 LPA was offered by Microsoft. Reliance, Unacademy, and Microsoft are some companies that gave good placement packages. Almost every student got an internship. Mostly, companies hire for the role of UT, and some hire as SDE.

Placements: There is a combined batch of CSE and DSE branches. In these branches, in 2023, the average package is 16.67 LPA, the highest is 57 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. In 2024, the average is 13.87 LPA, the highest is 51 LPA (CSE), and the lowest is 4 LPA. The percentage of placements is very good, approximately 96 percent in 2023 and 2024. In our college, the placement rate in the chemical branch is 100 percent.

Placements: 90-95% of students got placed in CSE/IT departments. 47 LPA is the highest package offered by recruiters and 13 LPA is the average package. Flipkart, Google, Accenture, Oracle, etc. are the top recruiters. 10-20% of students got internships in companies like Microsoft and Accenture at respective packages of 3.5 lakh and 1.5 lakh. Software development engineers, data analysts, etc. are the top roles offered.

Placements: In the Industrial and Production Engineering branch, placement has been good for the last three years, with an approximate rate of 95%. The median package for IPE is 7.5 LPA, the average package is 8.38 LPA, and the highest package is 18.87 LPA. Overall, the college's highest package is 52 LPA, and the average package is 9.48 LPA.

Placements: Around 90% of students who applied for placement got placed in textile engineering. The highest package is 18 LPA (on campus) and 66 LPA (off campus). The lowest package is around 6 lakhs, and the average package is 9.8 LPA. Trident, Reliance, and Amazon are the top recruiters. Around 60% of students get internships, and about 30% receive PPOs.

Placements: Placements of NIT Jalandhar are on par with other NITs. In 2024, Google hired some students on campus, which I believe is a big achievement. Another positive aspect is the placement policy, which allows a person to secure two offers, especially during this recession period.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 85%. The highest package is 89 LPA offered by Atlassian, the lowest package was 5 LPA offered by EXL Services, and the average package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course include Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, Expedia Groups, Saras AI, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, HP, Physicswallah, Technook, Adani Wilmar, Trident, and Vardhman Private Limited. Placements: About 70 percent placed in our college. The highest package in our campus is around 51 Lacs, and the lowest is 5 Lacs per annum. Like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, about 40 percent got GATE internships in our campus. Google jobs were also secured in our campus. Got good placement.

Placements: The placement record is good, especially for my branch. Companies like BPCL and HPCL in the petro sector, and Colgate in the pharma sector, offer good packages in the range of 12 to 15 LPA. Teaching jobs are also available, but they require hard work.

Placements: The Computer Science department of NIT Jalandhar is one of the best departments in NIT Jalandhar with brilliant placements record. This is the only department that plays a big role in increasing the highest packages of our college and the placements percentage. Placements: Actually, my branch is ECE, and ECE is one of the best branch in NIT Jalandhar. So, from a placement point of view, this branch is best in the college because many students placed in core company like Intel, as well as most of the students placed in top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.
