NSUT-The College you want to be in.

Placements: The placements are good, around 10-12 for EE, though not as high as the hype created around it. The average for CS will be around 14, and they definitely get priority over other branches. So yes, we are not that ahead in line. But you will definitely get a job here if you maintain above a 7 CGPA.

College with zero campus life .

Placements: This is the year that I will pass out, and because of the recession, the number of companies that visit the college is lower. The highest and lowest packages are the same as the main campus. The top recruitment companies from previous years are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and Sprinkler. Internships are not very good; only 1–2% get them.

Worthless college, cheap & worthless faculty.

Placements: The official batch of NSUT east campus will graduate in 2024, hence there is no placement data available. But now this is a part of NSUT so placement is expected to be better. Before NSUT came here the placement rate was 5% which is almost nothing, no company visited. The old T&P cell was lazy just like lazy faculty members.

Absolutely dissatisfied because the faculty members are not updated.

Placements: 2020 batch is the first batch of NSUT east campus, so the placement data is available in 2024. Most probably, the placement drives are conducted on the NSUT main campus. This information is provided by NSUT.

The only best part of the college is that students are free to do whatever they want.

Placements: Our college was established in 2007. Since then, a total of 8 batches passed out. Only the first two batches got placement opportunities. This year, they again initiated placements within the university. Few students from the IT department got placed recently. The average salary package offered was around 3 to 4 LPA.

Bad placement and no seriousness in teachers towards imparting proper education.

Placements: No campus placements happened. Only one company came to the college and they also didn't recruit anyone. TPO is available only for namesake. Placement was one of the biggest problems in this college. The only fine thing that they did was that the TPO sent a few emails to us related to certain walk-in interviews.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty and placements.

Placements: The college has a placement cell, but it is not working effectively, as it is not able to provide jobs to the students. Only one student from the 2018 batch from civil engineering got placed, and same is the case with IT branch. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA for the civil branch. For the IT branch, the highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Only one company visited the campus that was CAD Centre, which was offering a job with a s...

Dissatisfied because of lack of growth.

Placements: The placements in our college are good if your dream job is working in TCS. There aren't a lot of companies that visit the campus. Most of the students go to pool placements in Noida and Chandigarh, where you have to compete with thousands of students at a time for a low paying job, which is bad.

It is good college for those who want to get only the B.Tech certificate.

Placements: Earlier, the placements were good, but as Ms V. K Monica became the principal and Mrs K. Tiwari a dean, the placements went to the worst. Now, in my 4 years, no company has visited the college to offer placements. Even the IT students have to go for off-campus placements.

NSIT is a bad option for mechanical students.

Placements: This will be the first batch of mechanical engineering, but internship season is coming to an end there aren't many options for a mechanical engineer. No new companies came for the recruitment of ME, and with placement season around the corner, there is no hope for mechanical students. The only couple of technical companies came to the campus which were coming for MPAE.

There are no placements in the college, and the location of the college is rural.

Placements: I joined this college in 2013, and I have not seen any companies visiting this college. As the location is of this college is the worst, so the good students do not want to take admission in this college. The students usually try to get the job by the off-campus interviews. Almost, 50-60% of the students get the jobs through the off-campus interviews every year. As the companies have not visited the college since I took the admission, so there is no point in talking about average salary or anyth...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, placements are declining every year after my admission

Placements: Placements for now are fine but for the future, I can't say anything about that. Seniors are placed in a good number and internships are also good. There is a healthy environment for studies many companies have visited in previous years but this time, they have not. The interest of companies is declining and the average package offered is 4 lacs per annum in my current time.

Good for nothing college with no placement guarantee, no infrastructure, no sports, worst faculty.

Placements: It is not so good. A few got a package of above 1 crore and most of us got medium packages. Placements are not so good for mediocre and below average students. Sometimes placements go high and sometimes go very bad, but even toppers are not sure of their placements.

School type treatment is given to the students by the college administration. Moreover, the students do not enjoy anything like a normal engineering student. I would never refer someone to this college. The faculty is not up to the mark and there are no on-campus facilities. The college doesn't hold any student-related functions and no student interests are motivated. Placement is just a dream for the students. The college boasts of its infrastructure, which is just pathetic with no labs a...

Average college not like tier 1

Placements: Nearly 50% placed. Highest package is of 28lpa. Top recruitment companies are atlasian, sprinkler, TCS. Data analytics is the top role offered in our course and most of the students are unplaced in mathematics and Computing course I don't know why but some companies also not allow us to sit in exams.
