Placement is good, but college life is not as enjoyable.

Placements: In computer science and other coding domains, there is almost a 70-80% placement rate. The highest package offered is 14 lakhs by companies like Vitusa, Cognigent, TCS, and Capgemini. The roles offered range from software development engineer, software reliability engineer, consultant, to civil engineer, constituting 10 to 15% of the placements.

Brief description of NSEC Kolkata.

Placements: 45% of the students were placed in ECE. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Escher, Wipro and the NBA come for recruiting. They are basically mass recruiters; the highest package was INR 14 lacs given by Amazon, and the lowest package was INR 30 thousand. Internships are offered by our college but some companies come for summer internships.

Dissatisfied with academic curriculum of 1sy year, good infrastructure, teachers are very helpful.

Placements: Goo placements offered in 2021. Avg package was around 6lpa. Offers good placement opportunities and good placement preparation. Many students got internship from our college. In IT above 75% of students got placement. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

According to me, our college is good.

Placements: Our college's placement rate is good but in my course, only about 20% of students are placed because firms prefer CSE and IT candidates. My course had a maximum salary package of 6 LPA, 3.5 LPA is the average salary package, and 2 LPA is the lowest salary package. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant, and other IT companies visit our campus every year. Our college does not give any form of internships, only a few students receive internships from my course. Thus, you must try it on your own....

Medical and sports facilities are available.

Placements: Many IT companies visit the campus but very fewer core companies come. Placement rate is very less in core department compared to the IT department. There is not much scope. Placement rate is not so good.

Everything is average, but we want better.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed in this year. In this year, various companies are visiting our college. None of the students from our college got an internship.

NSEC is an average college.

Placements: Placements in our college were not up to the mark. Around 25 students out of 150 students got placed last year. Not many companies visit our college for placements. No more mass recruitment is conducted here, and students are dissatisfied. After four years of studying If students don't get placed in spite of having the calibre, it's highly unacceptable.

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to bad placements this year, but the facilities are good.

Placements: Our college didn't provide placements. Students should be prepared well for placements as only worthy students get placements. If you're worthy, then you don't need to worry about placements as you just need to have good brief basic knowledge in the course syllabus. Otherwise, don't hope for placements. Good and clear basic concepts are highly needed for students.

Netaji is an excellent college.

Placements: Placements are good, and it depends on students that how they crack the interview. Many companies visit our college like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys and many more reputed companies.

Save thou money, avoid NSEC if you want to study Civil engineering.

Placements: There's a huge disparity of placement among the departments. IT, CSE, ECE departments had the luxury to appear for placement in many companies, while core departments like Civil or Mechanical had to be content with 1-2 companies that too by pool campusing. The college do have a placement cell but they seem to ignore the plight of the core departments and mumble something about 'company policy' preventing recruiting from our college whenever we confronted them about placement. Overall 50-60% stud...

Our institute review. I told with four years experience what I realized in our institute.

Placements: Placement cell was good, but from last few years placements were not so good. Even I got a chance in a pool campaign, but that's was a fake company. After a few months, they left me and told me that you are not able to do this job, though I was done well, they reject me. I don't recommend to take admission in this college.

Our college is good for IT and CSE but not good for core branches. It has good faculty.

Placements: Placements are not good for mechanical engineering students in our college. We are the fourth batch of mechanical engineering of this college. Our seniors always told that study hard because this college doesn't provide any opportunities. Basically, this college is good for IT and CSE students. If any student from mechanical engineering is interested in the IT sector, then they can get placed in TCS, etc.

Our college is not that bad.

Placements: Placements are not very bad for CSE department as some students get jobs, but not with good salary packages as average salary packages were offered. But in civil and mechanical departments, there are some issues. Students with good grades also don't get jobs. There are also some restrictions like if you don't have above 60% aggregate in science in SSC and intermediate, then you are not allowed to attend for placements.
