Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In my course (Civil engineering) about 65-75% placement was done. Till 2019, the highest package offered to a civil engineering student was 11LPA, the average LPA offered was 6-7LPA, the lowest package offered was 3-4LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course was Goldman Sach, Oracle, TATA, etc. About 50% of students got an internship. The placement percentage in civil engineering is low because students here want to pursue higher degree courses as all know the vast opportunities in civil e...

It has amazing placements and huge campus. It is improving in terms of infrastructure day by day.

Placements: National Institute of Technology ranks 7th in terms of placements among all NITs. The placement scenario is really good here, and almost all students get placed. A huge percentage of students even get double placement offers, and salary packages offered are really good. If you want to have good placements as well as have the best college life, I suggest you to choose NIT Jamshedpur. You will never regret it.

Our college provides everything a student needs to enrich his or her abilities and skills.

Placements: As per the current scenario of the market and industries, every sector is going through automation and advancement so the offers for typical core jobs are a bit lesser than the past but still satisfactory. Instead of core jobs, service sectors are on the boom like consultancy, analytics, data science, business solutions, etc. Keeping these in mind, Training and- Placement Cell of NIT Jamshedpur starts focusing on these sectors too. Review of NIT Jamshedpur - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: This year there was a slight decline in placement percentage, but overall it is good. The average salary package offered in the CSE course has increased from the previous year. This year companies like Adobe and Goldman Sachs visited our campus for placements. The mechanical branch is one of the most sought ones in the college, so we didn't suffer too much due to the economic slowdown.

Placements: Placements here are next level. In all NITs, NIT Jamshedpur stands at 9th rank in terms of placements. As it is a Tata-driven city, core branch also has good placements. This year 2 students are offered with the salary package of 43 LPA from Microsoft for PPO post. Students are working hard, and they are getting good placements.
