Satisfied by placement, extracurricular activities, but needs improvement in labs, faculty etc.

Placements: Placement of college is one of it's the biggest strengths. The placement of ECE is mostly in non-core software company. Student have got placed even in company like Amazon. The highest package is around 27 Lacs and average is around 5 Lacs. Coding is important skill for placement.

Great institute to get the exposure of completely different environment and how to survive.

Placements: For MCA placement depends on students. If you have started preparing for placements from first year along with course studies then you will be definitely placed. There are many companies which comes for recruitment. Just try to maintain atleast 60% throughout.

Hostels Are Heaven, faculty members are not good, placements are good.

Placements: The placement of ECE overhere can be said is nice with average package of 6-6.5 L. P. A. It is because of the various technical teams here, which give you ample of opportunity to learn new things and skills very related to your branch, and these are the only things here which will make you feel like engineering.

Placements: Placement of NIT Jamshedpur is pretty good. About all the students get placed every year. In this year 2017-2018 the maximum package of 11 lack has been given in Mechanical branch. And if I talk about alother branches then the highest placement has been offered in computer Science.

Why and what led me to pursue my B tech degree from NIT Jamshedpur.

Placements: NIT Jamshedpur has excellent placement record. Nearly every student is placed in a reputed company. Even some of the most coveted PSUs come to NIT Jamshedpur to recruit students. Placement record of Computer Science and engineering is best among all the branches.

Best institute a student can get. Go for it.

Placements: In my college, placement scenario is very good. Several good companies like Microsoft, Amazon visit. Students who are capable get a placement above 8 to 10 lacs per annum. There are several other companies like Maruti, Tata, Mahindra etc. Who visit here for mechanical engineering students. Placements in other branches is also really good.

NIT Jamshedpur - One of the best in the zone.

Placements: I am currently in my second year and after two years I can say that the placement of Metallurgy is very good in NIT Jamshedpur. TATA Steel comes for PPO (Pre Placement Offer) for third years and selects around 4-5 students each year. There are numerous opportunities for internships both in campus and in outside colleges too. Core companies include Vedanta, HINDALCO, Jindal Steel etc., while non-core companies include Future First, HDFC etc. Package ranges from Rs 5 Lacs to Rs 11 Lacs per annum. ...

Overall, a good college but the infrastructure should be better.

Placements: There is a training and placement cell in our college consisting of students and faculty members. Considering mechanical branch, placements are good. About 60-70% students get placed in core companies. Main attractions are tata motors, tata steel, Vedanta, etc. The highest salary was around 12 LPA and it averages around 7 LPA.

Placements: Placements for computer Science and engineering is quite good, almost 100 percent barring a fee exceptions. Overall placement scenario of the whole institute is good in general. The highest salary offered was by Amazon India which was 27 LPA and the lowest was around 4 LPA. The biggest advantages of core branches are that there are many core as well as analytics company visiting the campus.

Lack of infrastructure but quite good in placements. There will be no tensions in the college.

Placements: The placements are pretty good here. In terms of placements, especially in core branches like mechanical, electrical, metallurgy it beats most of other NIT's and could easily be counted among in Top 5 NITs in terms of placements. This is because Jamshedpur is home of Tata, which I think needs no introduction. Tata Steel, Tata Motors are major recruiters for core branches. Percentage wise more than 95% of the students in CSE, ECE, mechanical, electrical, metallurgy got placed last year. While for...

2017 batch is the third batch of M.Tech so you get disappointed for placement.

Placements: There is nil placement in energy system but yes you may get internship in any companies like tata only if you are lucky enough, if you think of coming to get placed in next 2 years than this branch is not for you. But yes you may get time to prepare for government job.

Placements: The placements in NIT Jamshedpur are very good. Placements of CSE are great. The companies like Amazon and Samsung come to recruit every year, and for core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil, the top companies come for recruitment like L&T for civil, and PSUs also like BPCL, etc. So, I can say that placement is nice, come and experience it.

Placements: The placement of NIT Jamshedpur is very good. Most of the students get placed here. Computer Science branch has the most number of placements. Many big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Tata Steel, etc. come here for placement drive. May PSUs like BPCL, HPCL, etc. visit NIT Jamshedpur for placement. The 3rd year students also get a lot of internship opportunities by nearby companies. Overall, the placement here is fabulous.
