It is a good college for students with mediocre ranks in JEE. The overall culture is also good.

Placements: The main basis for choosing NIT JSR for UG is its great placements. The campus offers the best-in-class placements for all branches among NITs. Especially the placements in core branches are far better than in other NITs. Coding culture in core branches is developing gradually.

It is a good college because of the placements of core branch.

Placements: Placements of NIT Jamshedpur are very good for core and noncore. Almost all students from the core field get jobs. The percentage of core placement is above 90% for mechanical, production, metallurgy, and electrical branches. The highest salary package for mechanical engineering is 75 LPA (off-campus).

Placements: Placements are very good in our college. This year, there is an increase in the average package for every branch. There is also an increase in the total number of students getting placed from each branch. Very good companies came here to hire students from every branch.

Placements: About 100% of eligible students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered was 35LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 6LPA and the average salary package offered was 11LPA. Amazon is the top recruiting company of our college. I'm not sure but about 40% of students got internships in various companies like Amazon, Adobe, Arcesium, etc. Software development engineer and data analyst were the job roles offered to students.

NIT JSR is more than expected.

Placements: Our college is best for the core field. In the MME course, maximum students are placed with a decent salary package. Tata Company recruits ample number of students. You will get enough time to prepare for other competitive exams if you are planning as there is no attendance issue.

Placements: For core, placements are better than any other NITs. Jobs offered are not related to core, and more jobs come from the IT sector. Even placement percentage is increasing every year. According to seniors, if you are good enough, then you will get an internship. Overall, placements are good here.

Placements: The placement percentage is really high here and ranging between 85%-90%. The highest salary package offered is around 16 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA-4 LPA. Getting a job in the core sector is tough, but if you are satisfied with IT companies, then TCS, Infosys, etc., hire students from PIE.
