The college has a good infrastructure and decent placements.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed, and 60-70% of them got decent packages. If you are good at coding, there are high chances that you can land in a good product-based company with a package of more than 10 LPA. There are many good companies for core branches, such as TATA Steel, TATA Motors etc.

Good placement for CS branch and good coding culture.

Placements: Placement here is better than NIT Durgapur, NIT Patna, NIT Raipur, NIT Jalandhar. Last year's average package was above 10 LPA. The highest package offered was 43 LPA to 2 students by Microsoft. Amazon visits every year and recruits 5-10 students giving them around 30 LPA. Goldman Sachs started visiting in 2019. Other big companies like GE, Adobe, ola, Lowe's India, Samsung, Oracle, Futures First, Qualcomm and many more visit our campus. So, If you are thinking to get admission to this institute...

In spite of covid-19, placements stats are good. It is a decent college with good placements.

Placements: I would rate 3 stars for placements because core companies still come her for the placement drive. Companies like Tata Motors, Vedanta, etc., offer a decent salary package for core students. This year Tata Motors offered the salary package of more than 10 LPA to many students. Overall, you can easily get placed in core companies with a decent salary package. Now if you are coding or tech enthusiast, then you can easily get placed in top tech companies on-campus. Almost 70% of the tech companies ...

I think it is an average NIT in all fields but good compared to other colleges.

Placements: I think almost 15% of the students got placed from our branch, i.e., computer science and engineering. The highest salary package offered in our college is 79 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. Students get placed in many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, etc.

It is a good college to study and worth the money. It has good placements records.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, the average salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 7-7.50 LPA. Almost 20% of the students got an internship. Students should have programming skills and management skills. Many placements and companies are coming with various job profiles. As per the interest of students, they can sit in placements.

Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered here was 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top companies which visit our college for placements are Tata Steel, Tata Motors and Royal Enfield. Only 10% of the students got internships in top companies. Roles offered here are consultants, analysts, etc. It is a very good college for placements.

Placements are good, but they need to focus on infrastructure.

Placements: For the course 2018-2020, a good number of companies visit our college for providing internships as well as placements. M.Tech students don't many opportunities as B.Tech students. During 2019-2020, 2 students got an internship in GE, 5 students got an internship in Nokia, 3 students got an internship in Qualcomm, 9 students got an internship in Intel, and 8 students got an internship in Tata Motors. Placements: Placements are good and better than most of the NITs. I mainly joined this college by seeing its placements. All students can get a job in the college by participating in the campus interview in the fourth year.

Worth studying here and a time well spent that you'll remember it the rest of your life.

Placements: Around 80-85% students of my branch were placed with the highest package coming from Adobe worth 22 LPA and the average package was around 7 LPA. Mostly people were placed in profiles like Software Developer, Assistant Engineer, Data analyst and all. But there were offers from Core companies too, which were a little less in number but they were there too.

I am satisfied with the placements provided by the college.

Placements: Every branch in our college has a good percentage, and even metallurgy had 98% placements in the session 2019-20. The highest salary package offered was 43 LPA by Microsoft, and the lowest salary package was offered was by TCS. The best salary package offered in ECE was around 26 LPA. Theocrat placement scene is good here, and the companies which visit are also good.

Good placements in 2020, the infrastructure of the institute is improving.

Placements: The placements of the institute are really good till 2020. We had top recruiters like Amazon, Microsoft, Tata Steel recruiting candidates. The highest package is 42lakhs/annum while the average is between 6-7lakhs/annum. There are not many internship opportunities for students, only a handful of them get a chance of doing internship after their 3rd year.

The course and college are worth the money.

Placements: During my tenure, about 80% of the students got placed. Our college resides in Jamshedpur, so Tata Steel used to recruit students from here, but only a few students get placed in it. The majority of students get placed in software firms like TCS, Infosys, Cogent, Reliance Jio, etc. The average salary package offered is about 4.8 LPA. Internships were provided by our college during my tenure.
