Our college is good. You can take admission in it.

Placements: There are 28 students in our batch, so the percentage of students got placed is high, i.e., about 80-90%. The highest salary package offered is around 11-12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6- 7 LPA. In our branch, i.e., ECE, most of the students are placed in IT companies with the post of a developer, tester, etc. Few are placed in the management company.

In our course, the highest salary offered is 1 lac per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. It is the best college to gain knowledge.

Placements: There are placement offers in our college and companies visit here regularly. But most of the students prefer higher education rather than a job, and they seldom accept the offers. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 20,000 per month. Chemical companies and coaching institutes are the mass recruiter of this college who offers a job. Many students got an internship in a different institute during their M.Sc.

It is an excellent college in terms of academics and placements.

Placements: I am in the second year, so I don't know in detail about placements. But I have seen the data on NIRF that is submitted by college to the MHRD. The average salary package offered in the year 2018 was 5.4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 17.2 LPA. So I can say that NITM is a good college if you are a hard worker. More than 90% of students got placed in the year 2018. In our college, there is a centre for career development.

Satisfied with the administration and their attitude towards the safety and upliftment of students.

Placements: There are no placements for M.Sc. in our college. Even if the placements are provided sometimes, it is very difficult to sit for the drive because we have to compete with B.Tech students. I heard that there are placements for B.Tech students, especially for the ones in ECE and CSE departments.

A good place to gain technical knowledge.

Placements: The median package offered is around 5.2 LPA, last year. As the college is located in the central north-eastern region of India, it makes an ideal destination for conducting pool placement drives in the north-eastern region of India. The highest package offered was 17.2 LPA.

The faculty members are good, and the placements are average.

Placements: The placements for the students of M.Sc. physics department are average. We are in the second year, and I'm yet to experience the placement procedure. Only one student who sits in the back bench was placed. Only company that visited the campus to hire the students of M.Sc. physics department was Infosys. Dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: Placements went well enough considering we belonged to the first batch of NIT Meghalaya. Most of the students got placed while some left for higher studies. Most of the recruiting firms were from IT while some PSUs also participated. Some of the companies conducted pool placements at NIT Silchar where other NITs from Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh also participated.

Placements: Now our batch is in the 2nd semester only, and we did not have our placements yet. So, we don't know about the placements. My seniors' placement packages were about 5 to 12 lacs per annum. The highest package offered in our college is about 17 lacs per annum and the lowest is about 2 to 3 lacs per annum, and the average package is 5 to 6 LPA.

Placement-Good. Infrastructure-Can be improved. Faculty members-Tolerable.

Placements: I haven't finished B.Tech yet. But as I came to know from our placement and training cell, more than 90% of the students got placed inn 2016. Here average package is around 4-5 Lacs. Decent. Till now, the highest package is 13 Lacs p. a. form Power Grid Corporation of India. So I can say that NITM is good enough if you love hard work and have consistency with good communication skills.

The highest package of the institute is 17 LPA in 2018.

Placements: The placements on the campus are awesome, and they scored well at the GATE exams. The placement is good(Moderate). Microsoft used to come to our college to hire the students. The students of here are hard working, and the faculty members help them to get the good jobs. There is a placement cell in NIT Meghalaya at Laitumkharah point.

Placements: The placements are increasing year by year, and are very good especially for mechanical students. Overall, maximum all students were placed in the final year. A very responsive T&P head and team cell for calling various HRs of various companies are present. Companies all over India will be coming here to take students into their company and thereby placing students.

I would rate 9/10 for placements, 8/10 for faculty, and 5/10 for the campus.

Placements: About 85% of the CSE branch students got placed. The highest package offered by Microsoft is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.3 LPA. The placement ratio of the civil and mechanical branch is bad. No government company visit the campus for the placements. Some companies visit the campus for the local guys.
