According to me, it's an NIT college, so students gain good knowledge.

Placements: Around 80%-85% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package in our college is 45 LPA, the average salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Aditya Birla, Tata, PhonePe, and more companies are recruiting for our course. Every student gets an internship in the 2nd or 3rd year after hard work. There is a placement coordinator.

It is the smallest campus in all IITs and NITs. But the new campus will be opened after some years .

Placements: In this college, around 82 to 86 percent of students are placed. The highest package of ECE branch is 45 LPA. The average package of this branch is 13 to 13.5 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Top companies are coming to this college like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc.

I think you should consider this.

Placements: The placement opportunities at my college are pretty good if we are skilled enough. This year, 80-85% of our seniors got placed in companies like ICICI, HPCL, Amazon, and Hitachi. The average package was around 9-10LPA, which is quite competitive. However, if we want a higher salary, we will need to go off-campus.

Very dissatisfied being here.

Placements: As per authorities, Electrical Engineering placements percentage was 94%. The highest and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively. A total of 112 companies participated and 639 offers were made during NIT Patna placements 2023. The lowest package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 was INR 6 LPA. I am disappointed by the college authority. Placements are also disappointing us.

Placements: The placement at NIT Patna is average, but this year it has worsened due to the recession. This year, the mechanical branch has almost 100% placement, while the CS branch placement is good. However, the placement for the rest of the branches is in a very poor condition, and internships are only available for ECE and CS branch students.

The infrastructure is not that good and the new campus is under construction. The faculty is good.

Placements: In the department of architecture, 35 to 45 students are there in one batch. The highest package offered for architecture B.Arch is 52 lacs per annum, the lowest package offered is 6 lacs per annum and the average package is 13 lacs per annum. Top companies are Adani Group, Bushan Steels, Aditya Birla, etc. Graphic designers, interior designer, roles in urban development are offered.

Not totally great but it's actually worth it.

Placements: In NIT Patna, we have a placements drive every year. The placements were good last year but the 1Cr package that was offered an year ago was an off campus one. Every year ECE gets the best placements from the college. CSE is also good but in comparison to it, ECE performs well in campus placements every year. The highest package offered in ECE was 52 LPA and average package was 10 LPA. Amazon, Wipro, Meta were the top recruiters.

Pros and cons of choosing a government college.

Placements: I am an electrical engineer, and in my branch, almost 85% of students get placed in prestigious companies. The highest package offer in 2023 is INR 35 LPA in my branch, and the lowest is INR 3 LPA. The average package offer is INR 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Uber, Ola, etc. The student internship ratio is almost the same as placement.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members and placements till now.

Placements: Placements are neglected for the architecture branch. Only one company visited this year i.e., Pinnacles Infotech. It provides Rs.27,000 per month after promotion. Companies don't come for internships either. I don't recommend this college. If you want to waste your money, you can do it.

College life and educational quality are not good.

Placements: In our college, a lot of students received internship offers ranging from 0.7 LPA to 2.25 LPA. At the CSE branch, the highest salary package offered is more than 1 crore per annum. Salary packages vary with the place of employment. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, and Adobe hire from our college.

Review of NIT Patna National Institute of Technology.

Placements: It has average placement and there is no strong coding culture. If you prepare well then you can easily get a job but in other branches, there are very less and low placements and activities are enough.

The college fee is very high.

Placements: I am in my 3rd year. I do not have any idea about the B.Tech course, and maybe it provides the best salary packages. The salary package offered in our college is average. Some of our seniors got selected in the best areas. My batchmates of friends are very good.

Don't take admission in core branches, and even if you join, prepare for non-core placements.

Placements: The number of companies from the non-core sector is higher than the core companies, which are Alston, GE, Larson and Turbo only. Nearly 12 students got placed in the core companies, with the highest package of 8 LPA. Only 2 students got internships in the 3rd year from a batch of 80 students.

Review of NIT Patna - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements were not provided in our college, but we have to go for internships. Architecture is a good course, and talented architects were paid high salary package. You can work as an independent architect or else you can work in the government sector. So basically architecture is a good course.

It is a good but not the best. It is better than new NITs and NITs of east.

Placements: Placements in the college are good for the CSE branch. The salary package offered is ranging from 7-25 LPA, and the average salary package offered is about 8-9 LPA. Last year, almost 11 students got placed with a salary package of 25 LPA package. But for other branches like ECE and electrical, the salary package is not that good. Mechanical and civil branches don't have good placement records. The salary package offered ranges from 6-10 LPA. Most of the students prepare for GATE, IES, and IAS. T...

Placements: I am currently in 2017 batch, and the placement for 2017 batch is not good. Only 58.46% of CE branch got offered and placed. CE branch got the highest package of 5.8 LPA and the lowest of 2.76 LPA. The companies that visited this college for CE are L&T, Powai, Civil Engineering Testing Co. Pvt. Ltd only.

This NIT will only give you a tag, other educational benefits of NIT are not good.

Placements: The college provided one or two chances for a technical job, other than that, only software companies came for placements. So, come with no hope because they will not provide any job. Oracle and L&T came till now. A teaching job at coaching center was offered in the placements. For B.Tech, the college has a good placement percentage.
