The review of NIT Raipur - National Institute of Technology, Raipur (NITRR).

Placements: Overall, placements in our college are quite good. Many national and multinational companies visit the campus every year. Around 80% of the students get placed every year. Every student gets ample opportunities to get a job through campus placement drives. Majority of students got a job in the companies related to their respective branches.

Placements and infrastructure are good.

Placements: This institute assures 100% placements for all the eligible candidates of the departments like CSE and IT, etc. Other branches like mechanical and electrical departments also have a placement record of 80%. The highest salary package offered this year was 32.5 LPA and is offered for 3 CSE students and one IT student by the same company. Even the off-campus placements are pretty good. The placement scenario of the institute has really improved over these years. The placement cell of the institute...

Absolutely disappointed with the infrastructure of the college.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE and IT, but for core branches, the placements should be increased. The training and placement officer should take care of it. The college is trying to play a major role in the placements of the individual. I think this should be increased.

I am satisfied with the college because of nice placements and good exposure.

Placements: Placement opportunities provided in our college are high. A lot of companies visited our campus for placement drives. If you are skilled, you can crack the interviews for sure. The average salary package offered was 7-8 LPA. The college will provide you with a platform to showcase your skills.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the faculty and exposure but dissatisfied with hostel facilities.

Placements: Placements in the college are just average as 25 out of 65 eligible students were placed from the mining department. But, overall, considering all the aspects, the placements were excellent. Vedanta offered the highest salary package of 8.50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4.20 LPA by Prism Cement. Companies like Vedanta, L&T, Lafarge, and Prism cement visited the college to recruit mining students in the core sector. For the students of non-core branches, lots of companies like C...

College provides good placements and has the best faculty members.

Placements: Average 40-50% of placement are provided here. Previous year 26 students got placed out of 48 students in core and non-core companies in the chemical branch. All branches have a good placement except Biotech and Bio-med branch where placement is not good. Generally, non-core companies are more at a time of placement there.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: Placements for the metallurgy branch are certainly average. About 15% of the students are placed. Usually, TCS company visits the campus, and there is a lack of PSU companies. Around 35% of the students get internships. The highest package offered is around 17 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA.

The college with good faculty members, but the infrastructure is average.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is decent, but not up to the mark. The maximum salary package offered is around 12 LPA (exceptions are always there), and the average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Only a handful of companies provide internships to the students. There is a training and placement cell which is rather helpful to the students.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. For the 2017 to 2018 batch, the average salary package offered was about 7 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA. Companies like Oracle, UHG, and Adobe, etc., are some of the recruiters for CS and IT department. Overall, placements are decent and mostly depend on students' skills.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students were placed in various companies like Tata Steel, Vedanta, Deloitte, Mu Sigma, L&T Construction, L&T Power, etc. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, average salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. There is a placement cell which is very efficient and works a lot for placement of all students.

Placements: Placements for the students of metallurgy, mining, computer science, and IT departments are quite good. The number of core companies that visit our college is very less. Almost 60% of students in electrical branch get placed. Around 2-3 companies visit our college to offer internships for the students of the electrical department.

This is a good institute, and you will get enough facilities to learn.

Placements: Since last few years, our electrical branch has good placements as the placement rate was about 70%. The highest salary offered was 12 LPA and the average salary offered was 7 LPA. Many core and software-based companies visit our college to offer placements, and only a few provide the internship for the 3rd-year students.

I'm neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements provided for the students of our department are good, but a maximum number of students got placed in IT companies. Very few core companies are visiting our college to offer placements. The placements are good for the students who want to have a career in DA, or any other IT field because none of the core companies is going to visit our college. Eventually, every student attends the drive conducted by the IT companies to bag a job.

Placements: Regarding placements, the college has a good reputation among NITs. Almost all the students of CS and IT branches get placed in our college. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 27 LPA in 2017. In 2018, the highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the placement drives are currently going on. For the students of the CS branch, the scope is good. A worthy institute where fun and learning happen simultaneously.

Placements: Big companies such as TCS, Amazon, UHG, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc. come to hire students. Placements of mining, CS and IT branches are very good. Packages ranging from a minimum of 4 LPA to a maximum of 18-19 LPA are offered to students, and 30% of the placements are done at the beginning of the academic year. Pre-placement offers are also given to the deserving candidates. You can get good offers through hard work, smartness and good personality.
