Good placements with medium packages, good professors and average infrastructure facilities.

Placements: Yes, the placements at NIT raipur are good with an average package of six and half Lacs and the highest about 15 Lacs. Honestly, the placements at raipur in CSE is about 98%. The lowest salary from CSE is about five Lacs. Many of them have been employed as a Java developer, android and web developer roles. In the third year, Internship is available to atleast 35 members from companies officially. And student can do any internship of his interest by taking permissions from the HOD. Yes, there is ...

Overall activities and placements.

Placements: 2017 placement is 52 out of 60 eligible candidates, but in 2018 it is for 20 only. Here because of PSU s like Coal India, SAIL are conducting their own exams, that's why placement number is drastically decreasing, but in other branches like IT, CS placement is 100%.

This college neither too good nor too bad, but improving its reputation year by year.

Placements: Starting from the internships, the college doesn't provide any internships, the students by their means can apply to various internship programmes. Though various companies come to the campus for the pre-placement and placements like UHG, etc., some also provide internships to the students. The highest stipend is Rs.25,000, and the lowest varies according to the company. Placements are quite good for the CS, and IT branch (100%) as every student who wants to get a job rather than fighting UPSC o...

Worth to take admission here in the undergraduate programme.

Placements: The placements are below average for masters courses. About 2 -3 software companies visit the college every year. The salary offered varies from 3.5 to 4.5 lacs per annum. L&T construction, TCS, Capgemini, Hexaware, Infosys, etc., came to the campus. Two people went to Tata Steels for internships at my time. The stipend is provided to GATE qualified students, i..e, they provided Rs. 12,400 per month. There is a placement and training cell present on the campus. It is useful for B.Tech students ...

Good for an opportunist with good hostels and placements.

Placements: Placements of CS/IT is quite remarkable in our college with an average package of 7.5 LPA or above. Many good companies also visit this college. You will get at least 4 or 5 chances to prove yourself in the college placements. For the mechanical and the electrical, there are quite a few companies which are offering 6 LPA and above as a package which includes TATA Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki, etc. Also, companies like TCS and Infosys recruit from all the branches.

The college is neither good nor bad.

Placements: In this college, you get the standard IT firms. The companies like Microsoft and Google will not visit the campus. Once in a blue moon, someone from the students gets a package of 75 LPA. The placement ratio is pretty good for CS and IT students. Mining is one of the best branches here, which is competing with the ISM Dhanbad.

Better than any college in Raipur, and really worth a title of NIT.

Placements: The college has average placement where they offer 8-11 LPA. 1-2 get placement up to 21-27 LPA. The placement is based on how you have used your previous 4 years in the college. If somebody has knowledge of coding, application and web development. Then his package should be more than 25 LPA.

Overall, it is a good college. You will have everything that you need but, it is still developing.

Placements: Placement is good. The college, being attached to a reputed brand, makes it easier to get placed. It has seen some students getting really decent packages, but I don't think anyone has ever touched 8 digit mark. All in all, it is a college where you can get a good package if you have got something to do. Oracle, Samsung, etc. are some of the good companies visiting the campus. Companies like NTPC used to visit the campus and was favourite among students, but now they are using GATE scores.

The college doesn't matter. What matters is what you do in your college.

Placements: There is a placement cell in my college. The placement of our senior batch was quite good compared to other batches. Around 65% of them were placed, but this year, it is around 40%. The major companies were L&T, Prism, Vedanta, Nuvoco, and some more. The average salary was 4.5 LPA, and 9 LPA being the maximum.

Overall, it is the college where you can learn a lot but only if you have guts for that.

Placements: The placements are quite good but not as up to the mark as we expect while taking admissions in the college. If you have good personal skills & can develop yourself according to the college atmosphere, it may help you to achieve your goals successfully.

NIT Raipur - It is just a platform and rest of the things are based on you.

Placements: Being a tier-2 college, you can expect decent placement scenario in the college. The placements vary for every batch, but we have some companies that visit every year. These are mu sigma, L&T Construction, Coal India Ltd., Infosys, United Healthgroup, to name a few. Salary packages range from 3 LPA-11 LPA with average package lying between 5LPA-6 LPA. Job roles purely depend on the company profile, in most of the cases. The roles will be more of managerial rather than technical. A few student ge...

Placements: The placements are good for the branches of IT and CSE. The placement record is awesome. Other branches have good placements. Many opportunities are provided to get jobs in reputed companies compared to other private colleges. The students of the biotech branch have some opportunities to get placed in a good company.

Placements: The placements in this college are good for CS/IT streams, and nearly 90% of the students from CS/IT get placed. A good number of core companies attend for the placements in this college. About 70% of other branch students get placed in this college. Most of the students from other branches in this college take software jobs. About the internship, only a few companies attend the college, and those are software companies.

Placements: Around 50% of the students are placed. Good companies like Tata Motors, Fiat, BPCL and many others have visited NIT Raipur. The highest package would be from the BPCL Rs. 17.7 lakhs per annum, which is yet to come for our batch. An average of around Rs. 5 LPA is maintained from all companies.
