It is a wonderful college in terms of everything.

Placements: NIT Raipur is in a state where there is a lot of scope for metallurgy students, but a lower percentage of students got placed in the stream. The scenario is better as compared to a few years back, but it is still not up to the mark. The placement percentage was approximately 50% in the last year, which is less as compared to the other IITs or NITs. Still, in the covid situation, the growth placement percentage is reasonably good.

I had an average experience, but I am somewhat satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are not much good. If you are from CSE, then you can expect on-campus placements, but for other branches, there are very few placement opportunities. The average package offered is about 6-7 LPA. One of the students from CSE got placed off-campus with a package of 48 LPA.

Review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in electrical engineering from NIT Raipur. NIT Raipur is one of the best colleges among various NITs. NIT Raipur secured 67th NIRF ranking in 2020, and still, its ranking is improving year by year. Lots of companies come to the campus to recruit students, like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys etc. Approximately 70-80 out of 100 students got placed in the core and non-core sectors. The highest package offered in electrical engineering was around 14 LPA, the average package was arou...

Our college environment is very good. It provides you with lots of knowledge that help you in future

Placements: Every year 60 to 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are Reliance, Tata Steel, BARC, etc. Less than 50% of the students got internships. Top roles offered are a software development engineer, senior technical assistant, business analyst, etc.

Our college is conducting online classes because of COVID.

Placements: Because of COVID, I can't tell about placements properly. For the EE branch, atleast 3-4 top companies visit our college to recruit students. As per the information given by seniors, about 70% of the students get good placements from college based on their CGPA. On average, students should score more than 8 CGPA to get good placements.

In 2020, placements decreased. Infrastructure is fair, but I am dissatisfied with teachers.

Placements: Almost 46% of the students from the 2017-2021 batch got placed. The highest salary package offered, including bonus, is 12 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Deloitte, Tata Power, Wipro, L&T and ZS Associate are mass recruiters of our branch. Almost 8% of the students got internships from pass out and our batch in companies like Bajaj, Wolfram, Wipro, TVS and some in universities.

I am well satisfied because faculty members, placements and all facilities are very good.

Placements: In biomedical engineering, there are not many chances for placements in not only this college but in all colleges. Still, students who take coding as their backup knowledge can get placements in some well-known companies like Samsung, Amazon, etc. In the last year, the highest salary package offered was approximately more than 40 LPA in the biomedical branch.

It is the best college in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The number of biomedical companies is less in India, so getting placed in the relevant field is not easy. If you have a good rating in competitive coding, you'll easily get a job in the IT sector. Only 10 out of 50 students got placed on average. Most of the students opted for CAT, UPSC and GATE for higher studies. The highest package varies every year. The lowest package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 15 LPA till now. There are good facilities and faculty members here.

Placements: As metallurgical and materials science branch is one of the low-level branches in NIT Raipur, but its placements are better than other lower branches. The salary package offered in that branch is about 4 LPA-7 LPA. However, in CSE and IT branches, placements are really good. In the last year, i.e., in 2020, about 31 students out of 57 students got placements from the MME branch.

Placements: In NITRR (NIT Raipur), many placement opportunities are provided in core and non-core sectors. 80% of students got placed in companies. The highest package offered is 75 LPA in the CSE branch. Many companies like Google, Adobe, etc., came here for placements. 60% of students got internships, and the rest got placed in the core sector. It is an awesome NIT with good faculty members and placements, but only the campus is average.

Placements: Placements are far above average in NIT Raipur. Since I am a first-year student, I haven't gone to our college yet. I don't know the exact placement records. However, from what I have heard from our teachers and seniors, about 88%-92% of the students get placed from the CSE branch. The placement rate is very high in the entire college. The average salary package offered for B.Tech is about 8 LPA, and the highest salary package offered this year was above 60 LPA in ByteDance company. Overall, ver...

Our college provides a good platform and opportunities, so it depends on you to gab them.

Placements: The placement scenario here is a lot better than any other college in CG but not as high as top NITs or IITs. In the previous year, only 40% of the students from the electrical engineering branch got placed with an average salary package of 7 LPA in IT companies. But placements were highly affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

Placements: From our branch, about 86 students were placed out of 92 students with a total of 88 offers. The highest salary package was offered by Brahmos, which was 14.12 LPA. The lowest salary package was offered by Infosys, which was 3.6 LPA. Some IT companies allow students of all branches to attend placements. The average salary package offered was around 6 LPA. It is the best college for placements, and it is suitable for hardworking students.

Placements: Metallurgical and materials engineering is a very good branch. We get a lot of free time as the subject is mostly practical. In GATE 2020, our college ranked 41 from the metallurgical department. Tata Steel, Visakhapatnam Steel, etc., companies come here. You can also go for non-core companies.

Top recruiting companies are Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, Tata, Sapient Nitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

It is a good college, but there is a shortage of admissions to the hostel.

Placements: IT and CS students had decent placements last year, as around 80%-90% of the students got placed. Salary packages offered were also very good. In off-campus placements, generally, better salary packages are offered but not significantly. The highest salary package offered in the campus interview was 36 LPA last year, while in off-campus, it was 48 LPA.

Placements: The placements in biotech are not very good, but overall, the placements provided by the college are very appreciative. The highest package offered is above 20 LPA, while the lowest package is 4-5 LPA. The college provides internships as well, and a lot of companies come to hire the students.

The infrastructure is good but can slightly be improved more in coming years.

Placements: There are no many placements in the biotech branch. About 12 students out of 30 students get placed from the biotech branch, and even they get placed in IT firms. On average, a student gets a salary package of about 8 LPA-10 LPA. The internship programme in this course is not quite good, and mostly, students opt for internships in IT firms.

Placements: From the IT and CSE branches, almost 100% of the students get placements. Mostly, IT sector companies visit our college for IT and CSE branches. In the previous year, the salary package of 48 LPA was offered in off-campus placements by Amazon. For other branches, placements are quite bad, especially for core branches like mechanical and civil.
