The college has good campus, professors and placements but may the hostel rooms are not sufficient.

Placements: There are 100% placements for CSE students hopefully with better packages. The average package in CSE department at NIT Raipur is 8.5 LPA. I think placements are satisfactory in our college especially CSE department. Especially in the 3rd-year students has the opportunity of pre-placements there may get up to 12 LPA packages starts with 10 LPA and this opportunity may get up to 20-25 students.

The best college for studies, but needs a lot of improvement in the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for CSE, IT, etc., branches in this academic year, have been the best till date. The average package also increased drastically. Among the core branches, mechanical has got many placements this year. Just because of downfall in steel and other industries, placements have been low for mining and metallurgical engineering branches.

Good placements in 2015, good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placements offered were good with opportunities from the core EE firms, software as well as big data. 80% of the students were placed. The highest package offered is 8.9 LPA (lacs per annum). The lowest package offered is 3.25 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA. The companies visited our campus include Coal India Ltd, L&T, Jindal Stainless, Heidelberg Cement, Infosys, CTS, Futures first, etc. There is a well-established placement cell which is instrumental in inviting the companies to...

The indepth review of NIT RR.

Placements: The placement is quite well in the private sector according to the seniors, but there is a problem in getting a job in core sector, so it is better for going for GATE and IES exam preparations. If you are in core branch in case of placements the graph is continuously growing up.

Placements: A total of about 136 companies visited our campus for the 2017 batch. The various job profiles offered were Data Analyst, Software Developer, Graduate Engineering Trainee, Sales Executive, and Consultant. The highest package of 10 LPA was offered by UHG while the lowest was of Infosys at 3.25 LPA. A good college with decent placements and average faculty.

Placements: The placements can be checked through the placement report. In most of the core branches, the placements are over 80%. The average package offered is around 5-6 LPA. A little effort can get a good placement. Top recruiters are Maruti, Tata, Oracle, ZS, Tata, Vedanta and many others. Mass recruiters include Wipro, CTS futures first and a few more.

Not the best but it's worthy.

Placements: The placement statistics of NIT, Raipur are terrific as they are bettered every next year. Currently, more than 50% students are placed in my branch, and the number is still counting. Last year, the offered salary varied between Rs. 3.5 LPA to Rs. 27 LPA and the internship offer was Rs. 35K per month. The companies visiting our campus are Amazon, Adobe, JP Morgan, Deloitte, Samsung, Oracle, UHG, etc.

Faculty and placements are the pros whereas infrastructure is the con in NIT Raipur.

Placements: My class is of 90 students and out of those, almost 55 students got placed (62%). The highest package is almost 9 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 2.5 lakh per annum. The average salary is almost 4 lakh per annum. Some of the companies that visited were L&T, Infosys, CTS, Wipro, Coal India, HMEL, BHEL, etc. Most of the students got the position of trainee engineers. To my knowledge, till our batch, the internships were very rare. But from the next batch, internship trend had started. ...

Really helpful and research oriented faculty members

Placements: The placements for biomedical engineering are not too good but it mainly depends on the student. We can never expect a person playing games during the college time and getting a 7 grade point to get a great placement. The highest package offered last year was 21 lakhs for three years. Mainly, software companies and analytical companies are offering placements. The college does not provide any internship but always suggests us to apply for programs. Should consider NIT Raipur for engineering

Placements: Placements for just senior and current batches are very good, especially for computer science, IT, and electrical and electronics branches. Almost everyone who appears in the placement process in computer science and IT gets placed. Major software companies are UHG, Oracle, JPMC, etc. For other branches, core companies are not showing good response but that is due to current scenario in industries. There are companies like Deloitte, UHG, ZS and much more which hire for the analytics profile and...

NIT Raipur, good placements and inadequate infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were pretty good for NIT Raipur in the year 2016. It was impressive for electrical, mechanical with 100% placement. The IT and CSE always get completely placed. The good old times seems to return to mining as approximately 80% students celebrated their placement in the core companies while the remaining 5-10 % from mining students secured software and analytics related placements. The branches such as electronics and civil had nothing extra and were as usual evergreen with decent ...

Placements: Placements statics in the college have been very good since last 2 years, especially for CSE and IT branches. A number of profound companies like Samsung, Oracle, CA technologies, Barclays have started taking a prominent number of students from the campus. The average package offered has also risen to 9.5 lpa from 5 lpa since last 2 years. Overall, the placements scenario has shown a drastic improvement.

Apart from the faculty, I am satisfied with my college in all aspects.

Placements: Almost 60 to 70% of students are getting placed in both software and core companies every year. The main reason for maintaining this is the fact that my college follows 'One student one placement' policy. That is, if you got selected in one company then you are not eligible to sit for another one unless it is of the opposite stream. for example, if at first you got selected in any software company then you are not eligible to sit for another software company inside the college but you can go for...

It has recently being accredited, and NITRR is a very good institute for your technical education.

Placements: Average placements per year have been increased drastically. A good placement cell is provided for young engineers to mould their careers. Level of education always goes up when you have good faculties as we have in our institute. A lot of effort is put by the faculty to enhance the education level by communicating with students and by listening to students perspective.
