NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: About 60% of students have been placed. Placements are good. Many companies visited here this year. Even top companies like Samsung, Oracle, and Optum came here. Students also got internships. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA, and the highest is 40 LPA.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like GAIL, PSU, etc., visit our campus every year to recruit students with good salary packages.

Placements: I am yet to apply for placements. But, as per seniors, the placements in civil engineering are average. CSE and IT have relatively better placements than civil. As the ranking of college is improving year by year, so, placements are also improving. In coming years it will be good.

Placements: Approximately 65%–70% of students have been placed so far. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the highest is 30 LPA. Recruiters are companies like Samsung, Oracle, Optum, etc. Internships are mandatory for 45 days.

Placements: 60 percent students got placed and top recruiters were Tata, Increff, Samsung. Oracle and IT companies have a kind of monopoly in campus. you should try to learn coding as it will give upper hand to everyone. Core branches are also good, and placement is thus overall, average.

Placements: Around 78% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was 9 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 18.36 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Indian Oil, HP, Reliance, Mahindra, Honda, HCL, and Reliance. Internships are also offered in companies like Tata, etc. Our seniors told us that most of them got placements on their own, so college placements are irrelevant.

Placements: During the placement drive of 2020, the highest CTC stood at INR 22 LPA which is offered by Oil India Limited and the average CTC stood at INR 13 LPA. In the Placement drive of 2020, Lowest India offered the CTC of INR 19.4LPA to the students of CSE, IT and ECE and Gail Limited also offered the CTC of INR 18 LPA. Some of the other top recruiters of NIT Srinagar are HCL, Honda, HP, Indian Oil, Reliance, IBM, Vedanta and many more.

Placements: On-campus placements are low compared to other branches like CS, IT, and ECE. The reasons could be the lack of interest of students in getting into private jobs and many students choose to do research.

Placements: Placements in NIT Srinagar are on an average level where you can find companies like Vedanta, Infosys, etc. Percentage of placements falls around 55% if you got good CGPA and communication skills. My friend got internship in IIT Rourkela from NIT Srinagar which is a good opportunity for achieving higher studies.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. In the 2018 batch, about 73-77% of students in our ECE branch were placed in good companies. In CSE/IT branch, almost 95% of students got placed. In ECE, the highest salary package offered was about 25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was about 3 LPA - 5 LPA, and 7 LPA - 9 LPA was the average salary package offered. Some of the top recruiting companies were Oracle, Increff, Brillio, Blogspot, Thoughtspot, TATA Elexis, Optum, IOCL, DRDO, IRCON, TCS, L&T-E...

Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed with an average package of 7-8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are IOCL, HPCL, and other PSUs. I think 25-30% of students got internships in 1st year. This year, two of our seniors got placed with 22 LPA in PSUs.

Placements: I can say that a majority of students get placed here. It's the only way to improve the NIRF ranking, so they try their best to provide placements. This year, 90% of students got placed, and many have received jobs from good companies like Microsoft, Google, etc., along with good internships, which you can check out on NIT Srinagar's Instagram handle.

Placements: Campus placement drive started 1 month ago and nearly top 15+ companies like D.E. Shaw, Oracle and Amazon have already visited the campus. As placements drive just started, students are getting placed, but still 6 months are left in drive, so it depends on how you perform in interviews, as you will get so many chances to sit in interviews.

Placements: Many students get placed in various companies both from the IT sector and core side. Around 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA by Google.

Placements: About 87.9% are placed. The highest package is 16.8 LPA and the lowest is 5.5 LPA. Vedanta is the top recruiter. About 45% got internships in companies like Samsung. The top role offered is system engineer. The placement percentage may increase because many went abroad to study, so they were considered not placed.

Placements: Around 10% of students were placed. Software companies recruited students. The highest salary package was 6 LPA. Students do their internships at PSUs and IITs. There were no roles offered.

Placements: Placement of the 2018 batch is 72% which is the maximum for metallurgical students ever in NIT Srinagar. In future it's looking like it'll increase further are so cooperative, they even gave us chance to choose between management and the IT sector in the 5th sem.

Placements: There is a huge increase in placements this year. Big companies like Samsung, De Shaw, and Intel hired students. 36 LPA is the highest salary package from De Shaw. The college is working hard to get placements with big companies. This year, almost 90% of students got placed.

Placements: I am studying civil engineering at NIT, Srinagar in 2021. It is a very good college and also an institute of national importance. This college is very helpful for our future career. We could get good placements from this college if we work hard.

Placements: Placements are not good. In civil engineering, 9% of students get campus placement. The highest package is 13 LPA and other engineering branches have good placement records. The institute has already released its placement report for the year 2020, and the highest CTC stood at 22 LPA, whereas the average CTC Stood at 13 LPA.
