Placements: Approximately 10% of the students got placed in the year 2021. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top core recruiting company is L&T. Approximately 60% of the students got internships in BSNL, BHEL, L&T, etc.

Placements: About 55-60% of the students get placement on the campus. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA in codding, and the highest salary package offered in the core is 9.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5.885 LPA. The salary package gets increased as our placement cell is doing great work. Placements: Placements are average. The top salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Almost 35% of the mechanical students got placements this year, which is quite low compared to some previous year placement stats. Placements of CSE and IT branches are very good, and up to 90% of the students got placed.

Placements: Placements in NIT Srinagar have improved year to year. Almost 90% of students got placed through campus placements. The average salary package offered in the IT branch was 11 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Wipro offered most jobs as well as some PSUs. Students got internships with the help of the institute.

Placements: I am from the mechanical engineering department of the 2019-2023 batch. Placements in the mechanical department, especially for B.Tech students, are average. In 2020, the highest salary package offered was around 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 6 to 8 LPA. Around 70-80% of the students got placed in various companies, and some students opted for higher studies in foreign universities. Many PSUs visit here like GAIL and ONGC, which offer a good range of salary packages.

Placements: Approximately 75% of students were placed in our course due to corona. The top recruiters are NTPC, Indian Oil, DRDO, Power Grid, Satyam Computers, etc. The highest package of the IT branch is approximately 20 LPA and the average salary package offered varies from 11 LPA-12 LPA. There are many companies like Vedanta, Bhel, Indian Railways, that calls for internships from NIT Srinagar.

Placements: Almost 60%-70% of the students got placed from our course. The lowest salary package offered here was 2.2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are IBM, Amazon, Capgemini and Coforge. Almost 5%-10% of the students got an internship in companies like IBM, Amazon, Coforge, TCS and Josh Technologies from our college. Top roles offered here are Java developer and security jobs.

Placements: Placements in our college are up to the mark for computer science, IT and electronics students. Software companies visit here regularly and provide excellent performance. Almost every student of these branches gets placed every year. Core companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, L&T Construction, L&T Limited, Suzuki Gujarat Pvt Ltd, Bajaj and many others are regular recruiters. Placements: PSUs, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements, and many students get off-campus placements. In on-campus placements, at least 20% of the students get placements from the civil department. Many companies did not visit here because of location, terrorism and natural problems. Many students go abroad for higher studies.

Placements: As far as I know, 90% of our seniors from my branch (IT) were placed. This year due to online placements, the highest package offered till date is 15 LPA, and the average package is about 10 LPA for my branch. Top recruiters are Samsung, Paytm, IBM etc. There are very few on-campus internship opportunities, but there are some companies that come to campus to offer internships. From my branch, most of my seniors are in the positions of SDE.

Placements: Our senior batch got good placement offers, but this year due to covid, the placements for core branches like mechanical, electrical, and civil are not much good. But in computer science, information technology and electronics and communication branches, maximum students have been placed.

Placements: The college is popularly known as NIT Srinagar, which is the only technical institute and one of the premier institutes in Jammu and Kashmir. The institute offers courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Phil and PhD. The institute has already released its placement report for the year 2020. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 13 LPA.

Placements: Every year, hardly 2 or 3 students get hired from the mechanical branch on campus. The average package offered is about 5 lacs per annum. The highest package offered is 14 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. Everyone got an internship in our batch in different companies.

Placements: In our college there are many companies come and students get placement and last year placement percentage was nearly 70 in our branch Metallurgy and the highest package was 11 lacs and the lowest was 5 lacs and average was 6 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta JSW, SAIL, IOCL.

Placements: The highest salary offered up till now is 8.7 LPA, and the minimum salary offered is 3.9 LPA. The average salary offered is 5.7 LPA. Approximately, 40% to 55% students were placed every year form this branch. Actually in this branch many students don't want to join private company rather they join PSU through GATE or other competitive exam.

Placements: About 75-80% of students got placed. CS/IT/ECE students had 100% of placement in the in-campus placement. 23 LPA was the highest package and average package was 7.3 LPA. Recruiters of NIT Srinagar are NTPC, IOCL, DRDO, IRCON, TCS, L&T-ECC, Punj Lloyd, Alstom, simplex and many others.

Placements: The highest package of year 2019-20 is 19 Lacs per annum. Many of my seniors got placed this year and with average package of 8 Lacs per annum. Many big companies recruits our students like Lowe's India, Byjus, Paytm and many other big companies.

Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in CS and IT branches. But in other branches, placements were not good. The salary package offered was approximately 4 LPA. Many top companies like Infosys, Delhi, Tata, L&T, etc., visited the campus for recruitment. Around 5% of the students got internships from college.

The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata Motors visit our campus for placements. Students did an internship from companies like BSNL and from Gaziabad and Delhi companies. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.

Placements: Approximately 60 to 70 percent of my branch are placed in reputed companies. The highest package was nearly 18 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 4 Lacs per annum and average was nearly 6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting company was maruti this year. Top role offered is senior engineer and nearly every student got intern at some reputed company like bhel, maruti, BSNL, etc.
