Best college life one can have.
Placements: About 40% students got placed in my course. The highest salary was about 11 LPA and the lowest salary was about 6 LPA and the average salary was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were GE, Seimens games, cypress semiconductor etc. About 50% of students got internship in our course in companies like Volvo, Mercedes Benz etc.
Infrastructure: There are both old buildings and new buildings in the campus. One can get the best facilities if you talk about Wi-Fi, labs and library. The food quality and facilities were best I have seen, you can't expect anything more from a college mess I suppose. You get a free medical treatment as there is a clinic in the campus itself. Sports facilities are excellent and they are always increasing the quality year by year.
Faculty: The teachers were kind and helpful, they were knowledgeable but it's not like they are gonna push you to study, as it's not a school life here. It all depends on how much determined and interested you are in studies. Yes, I think the course curriculum is up to the mark and there are too many extracurricular activities which make students industry-ready.
Other: I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer, as I didn't get any core mech jobs after my BE, I had to go for M.Tech. Fest is the best thing you can talk about this college. The 3 days of the fest is the best days you enjoy in college days. And the college has a private beach, what else you can expect in a campus better than this. There are always workshops and activities going on in college and offer a lot to students.

It has good infrastructure, faculty members, average placements. Overall, the best place to study.
Placements: Almost 6 out of 14 students were placed in manufacturing engineering. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA. Around 40% of the students got placements. The manufacturing course plan is very bad. I am not satisfied with it. There is not a single subject which can help you in industries. So, companies do not opt from manufacturing branch during placement. Internships are fine, and 5 students got an internship in our class.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available like LAN, Wi-Fi, CCC, indoor games and outdoor games as NITK is enriched in such things. Many college functions are conducted in every two months, and students can participate in it. Medical facilities are awesome for the students. Food is average for the north Indian.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive, but they don't want to teach. You need to study by yourself. However, they guide you well, and under their guidance, you can publish papers. They give you full freedom so that you can get placed.
Other: I have chosen manufacturing engineering in term of placements and thought of best course plan. Course plan needs to improve. A lot of fun activities are conducted. NITK also owns its beach.
