NIT Warangal Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Placements at NITW are good. Almost everyone gets placed with an average package of 9 LPA in my branch CSE. Regarding other branches too there is the high scope of getting jobs when compared to other local colleges here. The companies which visited are Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, ITC etc. offering us internships as well as full-time jobs. Almost 50-60% students got an internship.

Placements: Placement is very good here. Many companies visited this campus. And the packages given by the companies is also very good. One should not miss this opportunity if he or she is studying in this college. My branch placement percentage last year was 93-95 and in my time it was 95-97. Highest package was 16 LPA, lowest was 3.2 LPA and avg. was 9.5 LPA. Internship opportunities here are also good. Placements: The placements for students pursuing B. Tech in computer science is really great. Almost all the students(95%) get placed by the end of the final year. The salary is normally based upon the company that is going to recruit and the student obviously. But in general, the highest salary that is offered is around 24 lakhs, lowest salary being 2.5-3 lakhs(which is rare as students avoid those companies) and average being 10 lakhs. Placements: As of now, 81 students were placed out of 110 students in mechanical department. Highest salary offered was 18 LPA for ECE branch. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Companies like Volo, L&T, Pepsi, JK Tyres etc visited our campus for placements. About 40% of students got summer internships with the highest stipend of 1,25,000 per month and lowest was 4000 per month. The average stipend was 40,000.

Placements: College placements of civil engineering branch are average as compared to other branches. Highest package last year was 11 lakhs pa and lowest was around 3.7 lakhs pa. Around 60 % students were placed. Companies like Coal India, HPCL, Orient Cement offered good packages last year. Regarding internship, most of the students got internship by themselves. As compared to other colleges, civil engineering students get good placements.

Placements: Sufficient placements are there. The basic salary starts from 3.5 lakhs and goes up to 8.5 lakhs. The average salary is 5 lakhs. Placements are good for all the three branches, marketing, HR and finance. All of my seniors are placed and are working in good organisations now. TCS, Tech Mahindra and Factset are the few of the bigger companies which visit the campus. Many other companies also visit.

Placements: Placements are going nice for our batch and around 90% of the seniors were also placed before leaving the college. Average salary is around 4 LPA whereas 3.5 LPA is the minimum and it has gone high up to 6.3 LPA till yet. Placements: The college provides 100% placements for seniors. For us, the count is almost 50% till now and many more companies are in pipeline. The ROI is much better than other private B-Schools and the tag of NIT is overwhelming. Salary package ranges between 3.5 LPA to 12 LPA. The average salary offered is rupees 5 LPA.

Placements: The placements are good for all most all the branches and a sufficient number of core companies along with a few PSUs visited the campus. The process of placements is also better compared to most of the other colleges. The mechanical Branch especially has companies from various domains like automotive, industrial, fast-moving consumer goods(FMCG), PSUs, oil companies etc.

Placements: This year also, the placements are going as well as earlier. Last year, around 119 students sat for companies and around 115 students got placed with an average package of Rs. 8.9 LPA. Placements: As far as placement is concerned, the college provides almost up to 98% placements here. The salary offered ranges from a minimum of 3.5 LPA to a maximum of 25 LPA. Companies like Bajaj, Maruti, Ford, Alstom, BPCL, Leyland, Fiat, Volvo etc visited the campus for placements, and the positions offered to students were like Graduate Engineer Trainee, Marketing Analyst etc.

Placements: Average stipend for M.Tech student is Rs.12400/month from AICTE. Placements are very good in college. M.Tech students maximum choose to do research in their studies and also go for placements during the academic year. 250+ companies attended for placement drives in the college.

NIT Warangal is one of the premier technical institutions in India. The curriculum is very vast and makes engineering one of the toughest to pass, especially ECE. In hindsight, it all looks so good. I would say after the top IITs, Computer Science at NIT Warangal is one of the best places you can be at. The whole college experience was bliss. Apart from the South Indian food (coming from Rajasthan) and the super-hot climate, there is nothing bad about the college to share.
