Review of Panimalar Engineering College.

Placements: In our batch, only 10% ( year of passing out in 2020) of students are being placed. The highest salary offered in civil engineering is Rs. 15,000 per month with accommodation and food. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month with accommodation alone and the food is not provided. Sri Kailash, not a well-developed company, is not recruiting for our department. Internships are not provided by the college. We have to go out and search for an internship. To get better knowledge in civil, we...

Good placement in 2015 well built infrastructure but no proper Wi-Fi connection and AC classroom.

Placements: 70 percent placement. 25000 the highest salary, 15000 the lowest and average 20000. Wipro, HCl, Hindustan motors are the top recruiters. Engineer is the top role. 70 percent were placed in our course there were both counseling and management quota but the fees for the management quota was higher than the fees for counseling they ask donation for the management seats it is best value for money for the counseling seats not for management.

Good teaching, Transport and food facilities are really Worth the money paid. Lab is worth.

Placements: We hardly had placements in our college. Only few students got selected and that too was in off campus opportunity ( only for finance and marketing )which was arranged by our staffs. The package for students who got placed is 3lpa. It's truly worth the money paid.

It is a good college, but not good for the upcoming years.

Placements: As of 19th September, only 70 students got placed out of 180 eligible students for placements. The department has a total of about 320 students, and more companies visit for placements. But, core companies don't visit, if visit then it would be 2 or 3 companies. Infosys was the only day 1 company this year, and it recruited only 20 students from the department. Accenture offered the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA for a full stack developer, and some students were offered with that role. The a...

Satisfied to some extent due to good placements in 2018.

Placements: Being a self-financing institution, it has the best placements with more than 90% of the students getting placed. Top companies visit the campus, and more than 20 off-campus drives are conducted every month for the final year students. Pre-placement coaching is provided well in advance, and resource persons are called to give motivational speeches about the companies.

Review of Panimalar Engineering College.

Placements: The placements in our college were average. Top companies like Wipro, CTS, and Infosys recruits students for technical support profiles. Only very few students were recruited for software development roles. Placement cell was not really that active, and they did not support students as well.

There is no enjoyment for students. However, we will have a good future.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Moreover, if we work hard and clear all the subjects, then we will surely get placed. However, additional training is provided for the students. Companies like Accenture, Infocus, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Zoho, and Google, etc., visit the college to offer placements. Some of the students are selected on the basis of their projects. Some of the projects will be funded by the college management.

Really disappointed with placements as the rate is going down every year.

Placements: Placements for the batch 2015-2016 were really good. Many students got placed on campus, but the placement rate is going down year by year. Many best companies visited the campus to offer placements. The salaries offered range from Rs. 10,000 to 25,000 per month. Very few students get internships from college.

Panimalar Engineering College is excellent.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are excellent. Many major companies including core companies recruit our students by offering good salary packages. The placement percentage of our college is always above 90%. Last academic year, nearly 70 companies visited our college and recruited our students. Our college also conducts off-campus placement drives at regular intervals.

Staffs encourage us to keep moving and make us to realise the current scenario of engineers.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. IT firms offer good placements, but major core MNCs are not offering campus placements. Overall, our college offers better placements compared to other colleges. Many off-campus drives provide better placement opportunities for the students. However, the students will get a job anyway as they are offered better IT jobs.

Panimalar - a digital detox.

Placements: Placement was okay for. Mechanical. Even companies which had come only offered jobs under 15k salary margin. Well since I got into an IT job I was saved. Otherwise life is hard for mechanical people. I would prefer you people to join some other department, coz they all have better placements.

The leading recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, tech Mahindra etc. Surprisingly Google visited also recruited this year. The highest package is 6lack per annum and least is 3.5lack per annum.

Only software companies will attend the drive. Day 1 companies are recruiting more and call the students for training after they complete their degree. CTS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro are the day 1 companies hiring around 500.
