Ideal college to eat. Yoi cpild learn only if you motuvate yourself.

Placements: We had a decent placements while our seniors had a better one. The placement pervetage is about 82%. Which is a very decent record at that time. The package varued from 8lakhs per year to 2lakhs per month. Car technologies, mindtree, infosys, wipro, cts, polaris, Accenture, sutherland, css are some of the companies to mention. Their is no internship. Inside the college to hope for. But our college has a better placent cell since they provide constant information regarding placement even after co...

Good infrastructure, faculty&the worst rules.

Placements: Placements in panimalar are okayish and are not that good compared to the senior batches our batch had placements only in BPO companies and IT companies. Mostly tier 1 companies recruited and only 40% of the students got the placements balance students didn't get a placement our senior batches got good placements when compared to my batch.

Satisfied with infrastructure and faculty, placement is poor.

Placements: Placements are not that good as compared to engineering. Very nominal percentage of students are placed through on-campus placements. Mostly marketing roles are offered. Yes there is a placement cell. The highest salary offered is 5 Lacs per annum. College will not support for internship, have to find on our own.

Great infrastructure, very strict staffs, moderate placements, healthy food available for students.

Placements: For the past few years only Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies have been visiting the college for my department, a majority of then offering a job in the IT sector. Stipend varies from 2lakh to 4lakh. This year 95% students got placed in which 30% are interns. Well known companies like Google-Halli labs, Infosys, Tech Mahindra have shown up but only offered ITES jobs. Generally the college hasn't attracted much attention from the students in terms of placement.

Panimalar Engineering College, the college with good placements.

Placements: The placements in Panimalar College are good. The companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, etc. are recruiting students every year. Core companies like L&T, Sanmar, and all the tier-1 companies related to mechanical are recruiting students. Every year, students get placed in large numbers at Panimalar.

It is an average teaching college and the curriculum will be changing depending upon the department.

Placements: CSE, IT, EEE, ECE branches got 50% placements. But, in the civil and mech students are hardly placed. Also, a placement training is provided by the college, but placement money will be collected from us in the college fees itself. In 2012 batch, the placement was 50 percent. In 2013, it was 60 percent. In 2014 batch, it was 65 percent. In 2015 batch, 58 percent followed by 70 percentage in 2016 and 47 percentage in 2017 batch.

Keep this college as the last option.

Placements: Due to certain restrictions in the college, most of the companies hesitate for the campus and if any companies visit the campus that is either with the lesser packages or telecommunications job. But, you will be given off-site campus in the other colleges, which you can make use of it as a golden opportunity to develop your career.

An amazing college life by a proud student of Panimalar.

Placements: The placements of our college were good. People say that automation jobs are very less nowadays. But I found my college is very effective and upright in bringing all the usual companies to the college. Around 500 students are placed in a total of 1400 which I find reasonable. Also, the companies visited are product based, service-based, and also startups. The package usually ranges from 3-4 LPA. The roles which were offered were an associate software engineer in general and data scientists. And ...

The management is strict but depends on your score.

Placements: Mostly IT companies visit the campus for the placement. The core companies are not that often with the offers. If you have good CGPA, then a good job is assured for you. The internships depend on your score, and you have to search for more. You might get even 10 LPA package if you have good CGPA.

The college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Only the students with no backlogs with a minimum CGPA of around 7.5 are eligible for IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture. On an average, the pay is around 2.8 LPA to 3.8 LPA. The students with less CGPA are also allowed to attend other companies. Many core startup companies come but offer a low package. Many BPOs will come to the college.

I'm satisfied, but still need some improvement in practical base.

Placements: Placements were better for our batch than our seniors batch, and about 70% of the people got placed. Athena health is the company who paid high package among all the companies which we attended. They selected only one person at the end. They paid around 7.0 LPA, and most of the students got placed in MNC companies such as Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, CSS, IBM and Capgemini. We didn't do any internship. Instead of that, we went on an industrial visit to BSNL, and we have a placement cell. We had th...

The review of Panimalar by the final year students.

Placements: The placement in Panimalar is good when comparing to most of the colleges. Tier 1 companies are the mass recruiters. After that the recruitment gets low. The mechanical branch has the highest placement percentage in my batch. They hold around 97% of the students placed.

I am not satisfied as they do not focus on improving the special talents that the students have.

Placements: The placements in the college are good to a certain extent. They are good for the IT sectors. Google India visited the college and selected 18 students. But for mechanical engineering, the placements are rare. Even if a good core company visits the campus, they hardly recruit 5 students.

The infrastructure is good, and the placements are average.

Placements: This college is offering descent placement around 80%. The package could be between 2.5 LPA to 6 LPA. The main advantage is first-day pool campus, i.e., all the eligible students can attend all the three companies. Later placed students should step out of further interviews. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Capgemini, CTS and more. There are only few core companies. The placement cell used to provide proper notifications about interviews. Most of the students are placed with software engi...

Concerning more about Panimalar, it is well meant for a good infrastructure and food.

Placements: The recruitment of the students is more in our college. They conduct training programs for us to improve our computer language skills so that we perform well in the placement tests. Thereby, many companies keep on coming to our college for the recruitment, say 10 companies. Every year, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Odessa, Bangalore and some core companies often approach us and expect to recruit us.

Good infrastructure and security.

Placements: Their training for placement is good, but offers from core company are low. More students are placed in the software company only. Students are mostly placed in the software company with the highest package of 4 lakhs per annum. The college management doesn't arrange for any internship training, and if students are interested, they can be permitted.

Good college by placements, infrastructure and food. Bad in co-education and some strict rules

Placements: The main reason to join this college is placements. Compared to other colleges, I think Panimalar is the best in placement. If we clear(pass) without any arrears, surely we will get placed. They are also giving wonderful placement training for eligible students. If we get placed in top day-1 companies like Infosys and Wipro. The salary package will be 25k+. But I heard some companies are not coming because of poor interaction between boys and girls.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: This year, placements were dull because of the recession and some disputes. But still, the companies like Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant recruited a good number of students. The mass recruiting company is Accenture, they recruited half of the students of the college. The average salary offered to the students was 3 LPA, and the highest offered was 5 LPA. The college also sends the students for off-campus drives.

Governed by rules and good infrastructure.

Placements: Basically, we don't get many offers of placements from core companies in our college. Only 80% of students get placed and those students should never have any arrears. The lowest salary is 1.25 lakhs per annum, the highest salary is around 6 lakhs per annum and the average is 3.8 lakhs. The companies that usually visit our college are Accenture, Infosys, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra. Usually, our college does not help in providing internships. Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are very good. You are almost guaranteed a job. But the biggest drawback is the unavailability of core companies. The average salary is around 3 lakhs per annum. The companies were mostly IT firms and the others being BPO ones. The highest was around 4 lakhs or something and the lowest was around 1.5 lakhs.
