Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

I had the best 4 years of my life here, indeed.
Placements: PHCET has decent placement opportunities. Various companies pave their way through this institute to grab the top students who have developed their skills by participating in various competitions at various levels. This surely helps a student in getting placed in MNCs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top-notch. A large sports ground, comfortable libraries, well-equipped labs, and furnished classrooms add to the beauty of the college. The canteen is spacious. The auditoriums are pretty huge for some important extra lectures to be held.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and have the best knowledge in their subject to solve our doubts. The teachers are skillful in both practical as well as theoretical means. They guide us for the course and extra curriculum as well. They help us not only in making us an engineer but to make us a better individual as well.
Other: The best fest in Mumbai is held here. Fest days are the days which will be remembered forever. The events here develop us as an individual and a leader as well.

It is the best college for mechanical engineering.
Placements: At least students need 7.5 CGPA for placements with a good package. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Tata Motors, GEP, Fortune cars, L&T, Accenture, HCL Technologies, Hexaware Technologies, HP, IBM, IDBI Intech, Indian Navy, etc. The minimum salary package is about 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college has a very big infrastructure, and have many building like one for engineering, one for B.Sc. It also has a primary and secondary school. It also provides a big playground for cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. They are very much experienced in both practical as well as in teaching. The exam is not that much hard, because teachers clear all doubts, in fact in online classes teachers are doing a great job. They are very friendly and helpful.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. I am very passionate about working in mechanical parts, and also I love to design and manufacture any part. This college is in a rural area, but it is the best college.

Review of Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: About 20-30% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Core companies like Reliance and Pipetech Solution visit our campus for placements. Students should do an internship on their own. Students from our course are allowed to explore and acquire leadership skills.
Infrastructure: The campus is excellent. Our college provides facilities like classrooms, labs, library and machine shops. The hostel buildings are of old constructions and not well-furnished. The centre lawn is the main attraction here. The canteen serves tasty food, and it also serves all Indian dishes.
Faculty: Almost all staff members are PhD holders or M.Tech qualified from IITs and top colleges. They provide a good level of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant as teachers are more inclined toward practical sessions in labs. Our college makes students industry-ready by making them take all readings of experiments on their own.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am curious and passionate about how things work physically and measuring all those quantities, analyse them and bring outputs from mini-projects. In our course, they should provide many teachers, and core companies should also be invited for placements. An annual event named Euforia is organised at our college.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Only 30-40% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered to the students ranges between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Mahindra, etc., visit our campus for placements. Many new startups also visit our college, and they provide decent jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Library facilities are very good, and it is well-equipped with the required books. There is a little mobile network problem, but it provides good Wi-Fi facility. Labs have many advance machines, and we can access them. Food served in the canteen is average. Medical facilities with first aid available are good. We enjoy sports very much. I don't know much about the hostel facility, but many students depend on the college hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is quite good. For difficult subjects, we have very good faculty members, and for easy subjects, average professors are available. Some teachers have good knowledge. The industry ready thing depends on the student as well, and the students must have an interest.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my choice. Mechanical is one of the core branches, and without mechanical, most of the branches cannot exist. Like production, design, refrigeration, etc., mechanical is a must branch. The college organises Euforia fest every year, and we enjoy a lot. Campus crowd is 50% Marathi and 50% others. Campus crowd is quite decent.

Worst crowd and faculty and placement is almost zero.
Placements: From the mechanical department, there are only a few students got placed like 20-25 students. Not a single company came for an interview in our college we have to go to the other branch of Pillai college which is in Panel. All students have to go Panel pillai's for interview. The highest salary offers by byju's company which is 6LPA the lowest salary offers by small banks which is Rs.18,000 per month. And Average salary offered salary is Rs.20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have very big labs, classrooms, and library. College is in a remote place so its hard to get to college on time. Hostel facilities are good but the hostel fees are very high. Some labs don't have proper instruments for practical and college don't take care of instruments. But one thing is good in our college is research lab is maintained and have all equipments.
Faculty: Teachers are Freshers in teaching filed they don't have experience in the teaching. Finger countable teachers are good. But they also don't have that much knowledge. This course curriculum is very good but students don't get practical knowledge that's why they struggle in the industry.
Other: I wanted to become mechanical engineering from childhood so I choose this course and the best thing about this course is that students get to know fundamental knowledge of thermodynamics, TOM, SOM. Crowd in the college was lazy and mostly they don't come to college and teacher are fine with it. And no one takes the course seriously expect few students. Fest and events of college are good but college doesn't give money for this event students have to beg for the budget.
