Detailed review of Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune .
Placements: Above 90% of college students are placed from different branches. All branches are related to computers. The lowest package is not disclosed, but the average package is around 10 to 12 lacs per annum. Amazon comes frequently; all companies are related to computers and solutions-based; alumni support is best.
Infrastructure: The campus of the college is small (5 acres), but all facilities like the computer lab, IEEE lab, graphic lab, printing lab, and fabrication lab are present. The ground is small with Kabbadi, volleyball, basketball, table tennis court, etc. I live in a hostel. The hostel is good with about 5 floors.
Faculty: In 2024, the college became autonomously affiliated with Savitri Bai Phule University Pune. Teachers are experienced and qualified due to autonomy. The course is designed with the help of alumni and related to computer studies and is focused on making students industry-ready. There are two types of examsp-- the semester and the end semester; they are moderate.

Good placement in year 2020 and even after that also as I have heard lot of good insights .
Placements: 80-90 % of students were placed in the academic year 2020. The average package was 6 lacs, where as the highest was 26 LPA The top recruiting companies were PhonePe, Morgan Stanley, and Fiserv. Most of the students/candidates got decent internships at reputed colleges.
Infrastructure: The facility for the course given was outstanding. All the equipment was perfect, as I was an electronics and telecommunications student. Hostel food was also decent. Labs were properly installed, classrooms are moderately modified and even libraries were also decent.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They support us in every situation. They forcefully take all the action that was needed for the growth of the students. The curriculum was also relevant to match the industry standards. Semester exams are a bit difficult.

    PICT college honest review .
Placements: Placements are good, but there is too much competition. Take VJTI/CUMMINS/COEP if possible. The college also has separate dream criteria, and sometimes they shortlist students based on their CGPA. You can also consider WCE Sangli, as that college has no such criteria.
Infrastructure: The college campus is pretty small, and only the girls' hostel is bearable. The mess food is absolutely trash. Other than that, the college has a big ground where you can play a variety of sports, and the college also has indoor sports facilities like carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: Faculty members are rude, and in the practical exams, even if you perform well and your viva goes moderately, they will give you a B grade. They don't consider students' lives; even if you have important things going on, like interviews and other commitments, assignments are more important to them.

Value for money and education with sports and college life in PICT.
Placements: From this year 2024, the college will be autonomous, which means they can design their own syllabus. Now, the curriculum has been changed as per the industry's needs. We are taught with the latest materials, and the labs are full of the latest technology and materials. The placement is top-notch as it is recognized as one of the best colleges for placements. The average placement is 18 LPA for Electronics and Telecommunication, but higher for Computers. This year, the placements are high with a 92% placement rate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is renovated with new paint and benches. The benches are big and comfortable in classrooms. The classrooms have projectors and whiteboards for knowledge. The hostel has 5 floors with good space for each student, with separate washrooms for everyone, but they don’t have a lift, so you have to walk 5 floors to reach your room. However, the infrastructure is decent with a gym, sports facilities, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and have deep knowledge of their subjects. Due to autonomy, the curriculum is completely changed, and now they have a new syllabus as per the industry needs, with new labs, libraries, and exams. Speaking about exams, they are really easy but also test your knowledge. Teachers also give extra effort to clear your doubts.
Other: I am fully satisfied with my course, as it has the latest syllabus and modern tools for better understanding. It is truly the value of money.

Massachusetts of West in terms of academics.
Placements: If we see 2023 placements, then they are up to 91%. The highest placement was about nearly 47 LPA and the average placement was nearly 11.5 LPA. Top recruiters were like PhonePe, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, and many more tech companies. PhonePe gave a 41 LPA package to an electronic student, but I don't know it confirmly, I just heard it. Top roles from our college are like data science engineer, web developer, robotics through AI, electronic engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty well, meaning there is a complete focus on studies and industrial knowledge, so here grounds and roaming area are a little less but it's okay because they are just providing the huge opportunities. Classrooms are well-maintained. The library and reading hall have huge space. Hostel is okay. And mess is also good.
Faculty: Teaching quality here at PICT is pretty excellent. Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable as well so there is no drawback for academics. The course curriculum is also relevant but in the sense of industry knowledge, it is a little older but there, they are trying to improve and update the curriculum. Semester exams are a little tough, meaning they are on a little tougher side only and the pass percentage is also well, meaning in terms of numbers they are like I think so 90% or something but the discipline towards the exams are very strict. The verification of your roll number and many more details are precisely checked and then only you are allowed to give the exam.
Other: ENTC is Electronic and Communication Engineering so this branch is the upcoming branch which will rise in terms of its semiconductor industry or in terms of the electronic market. The best thing about the course is about its uniqueness of its curriculum which is very different from any other branch which includes a lot of logic and a little bit of enjoyment too. Yes, there are fests like Tech Fest which uses the opportunity to learn more about new technology and helps to make contacts with the people who are currently working in that industry and much more.

Good placements according to seniors but campus is small.
Placements: For the academic year 2022-2023, PICT reported a placement rate of 93.64%, with 707 out of 755 enrolled students securing job offers. The average salary package for this batch was approximately 10.11 lakhs per annum (LPA), with a median salary of 12 LPA. Notably, the highest package offered was 91 LPA.
Infrastructure: Typically, rooms are shared between two students. Each room is equipped with essential furnishings, including beds, wardrobes, and study tables. Many rooms come with attached washrooms, enhancing convenience for residents. The annual hostel fee is approximately 1,25,000 for rooms with attached washrooms and 1,15,000 for those with common washrooms. These fees typically include mess charges.
Faculty: Many faculty members at PICT possess advanced degrees and are actively involved in research, bringing a depth of knowledge to their teaching. As of now, it is autonomous, so I can't say much about the course, exams, and other course-related stuff. In programming, they are teaching us C language, which is an outdated language and not used in industries; by this, we can say that the course is pretty outdated.
