B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2018

It has good teaching staff members and good campus.
Placements: I did B.E. in Mechanical Engineering course in this college, and I am from 2018 batch. The college does not provide placements for our batch students, so if you want the best placements, then you can search for another college. Students from our course did not get an internship.
Infrastructure: For facilities, I would rate 2.5 out of 5 because they need a lot of improvement in the lab section. The college provides Wi-Fi facility on the campus. Quality of the hostel is quite good, but the MBA hostel is awesome. The quality of food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are qualified and very helpful. If you have any doubt, then it is cleared by teachers, it may be related to study or your personal life also. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I think in the future there is growth for mechanical engineering course and there is a lot of innovation going to happen in the industry. Some Colleges focus 90% on theoretical study and 10% on practical knowledge, but this college needs to focus on practical knowledge also. Event organised by the college is the best. The college organised an event called Mandar Mahostav every year. Many activities are conducted in that fest. The campus is also good.

I am satisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: For our batch, only 2 to 3 companies are offering placements, but not for our course. Overall, hardly 5 to 6 students get placed. Companies offer a salary package of 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. About 4 students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our hostel is good, but only some facilities are provided like one TV room, some workout machines, solar system, drinking water, etc. The food facility is also good, and also our college celebrates every festival in the hostel. So, management is good here.
Faculty: Our teaching staff members are very helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable. All the teachers will maintain a friendly relation with every student, so we all are very attached to them. They all provide the most practical knowledge, which was very helpful to us.

I'm satisfied with what I have paid them and what I got from them, and no any issues with them.
Placements: Now, I am in studying my final year in the mechanical department. No companies come for placements in this college. This college has fewer facilities as compared to other colleges in Maharashtra. But in my point of view, the fees are also lesser than other colleges. So, if you want to complete your engineering in low fees, then my recommendation would be this college. This college has three courses such as mechanical, computer, and EXTC. The staff of this college are also average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is big, but not maintained properly. There is no lift facility. The labs are average. The infrastructure of the college is the name of a lens. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are good. The food quality is below average. We didn't face any infrastructure related issue.
Faculty: Here, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Methods used for teaching are conventional. The course curriculum was useful. There are three courses in this college such as mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and electronics and telecommunication engineering.
Other: Every year, the students carry out Mandar Mahotsav. Both diploma and degree college students participate in that festival. The campus surrounding is like village type.

The college is very good.
Placements: The placements are provided to us. The senior batches got selected for companies with the help of placements. Our college places 20% students. The highest package is 40 lacs per annum and the average salary is 2 lacs per annum. Local companies have visited the college. The companies that visited the college are TechnoGrowth, Amazon, etc. The minimum criteria for placement is an aggregate of 60%. Live KT is not allowed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very beautiful with a very large area. Wi-Fi is provided with the speed of 5 Mbps. The library, medical facility, gym, sports also are available on campus. The quality of labs and classrooms is very bad. The quality of food in the canteen is very poor. The hostel also situated on the college campus. Techfest, Mandar Mahotsav are organised by the students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified and very great knowledge. The teaching quality is the best. Teachers use various languages to teach any point. I got the industry exposure. Mechanical staff are very helpful. The syllabus is covered, and surprise tests are also given.

A below average college for engineering - RSCOE, Chiplun.
Placements: If you really care about placement, then this college will be the wrong choice. For the last two senior batches, there was zero percent placement offered from the college. Also, for internship, the college is not helping the students at all. There was no stipend offered to the student from the college placement. Some of the senior students attended placements in nearby colleges but they did not get any offers because they might have priority for their own college students.
Infrastructure: I do not know the exact current condition but in my batch, there was no internet facility in the computer labs. The classrooms were okay, not up to the mark. The college building was a little old and not well maintained. Also, the walls were not painted. There was no medical facility. We used to play and arrange sports competitions through our own contribution. We had not got any help from the college management. The canteen was pathetic. The hostel was below average. We had faced a lot of water and electricity issues.
Faculty: The faculty was quite good, Some of the members were helpful. The problem was that management people were always trying to create some issues with the faculty members. The teaching method was average and the student-faculty ratio was much less. Some of the streams got industry exposure.
Other: If you do not have any choice, then this college is okay. Just keep in mind you might need private classes for some subjects and be ready to prepare yourself. Lastly, one good thing about this college is that the fee is less compared to others. It comes under University of Mumbai and has a nice environment as it is in Kokan.
