Overall, it is a good college for doing B.Tech.

Placements: Placement for M.Tech courses is not much good in RIT. Less than 10% students from M.Tech get placement every year. There is a problem in getting the internship also. There are good placements for B.Tech, where around 60% to 80% students get selected. It is better to do B.Tech than M.Tech from RIT. Bharat Forge, Kirloskar etc. are the main companies which visited for the mechanical engineering. 3D PLM company visited the campus to recruit M.Tech CAD/CAM/CAE students for 2nd year M.Tech project work.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. Each department has a separate building. The college has Wi-Fi network. There are big grounds for sports. Gym facility is also available. The library is the best in this college. All the facilities like AC, meeting room, study room, cafeteria etc., are available.

Faculty: Good faculty are available in the college. Each faculty has a year of experience. Good teaching strategies are followed. Each classroom has a projector. Every teacher has a good relationship with the student. Good courses are available in the college. The syllabus is set for each course.

Other: Lots of extra activities happen in the college.
