Review of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed in our college. Around 10 out of 60 students got placed in ONGC as AEE. The remaining students got placed in private companies like Byju's, Adani, etc. Some students got off-campus placements in HLS Asia.
Infrastructure: We have the best classrooms. Around two students can stay in one room. The hostel provides good facilities.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and knowledgeable. All professors are average. The course is relevant and makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. You should read regularly for one hour to pass exams.
Other: Our college should provide more scholarships for students.

Low placement rate in my college.
Placements: Companies usually take 2-3 students from a lot of 60-70 which is too bad. Not only chemical engineering students but almost all the student in the college suffer from the same problem. The placement rate is very low as compared to rest of the colleges that accept JEE advance score.
Infrastructure: The college at certain levels is compared to IITs and thus has a good hostel. The college has been established in 2007 therefore the buildings are quite good and the overall campus looks fine. The college at the same time can't be compared to IITs considering the infrastructure wholly but, we can say that it's still developing. The college is allotted 47 acres of land for infrastructural development.
Faculty: Most of the tutors making up the faculty are IIT'ians. Teachers are quite friendly and encouraging. They are always ready to support you and as compared to other colleges they are quite good and well experienced. They are trustworthy of their knowledge and they will never let you down that is for sure!
Other: The college has worst development in sports infrastructure.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the recent batch, 40% of students got placed. The highest package is 26 lacs, the lowest is 8 lacs, and the average package is 10 LPA. There is very decent placement in our college, and it is the first time PhonePe takes students with good packages. GAIL, HPCL, PhonePe, etc. are the top recruiters. 60% got internships in companies like IOCL.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available across the college. Labs are well maintained with working equipment, and classroom infrastructure is very nicely designed. The library is full of books, and from time to time new books are added. Hostel consists of A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H blocks, and mess food is good, and the night canteen is available for students who study late at night. Medical facilities are very good. The campus itself has a health center and ambulance facilities for emergency cases. Sports and games facilities are good; there is no indoor court.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified and helpful; their teaching quality is very good. Yes, the course curriculum is totally relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are hard as the teaching is of good level, and there is relatively little marking for students.
Other: I have chosen chemical engineering because I have an interest in this department. Many events and fests are held in college for many industrial projects and industry readiness.

It is the best college for placements in PSUs.
Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed in PSUs. Mainly PSUs for chemical branches like ONGC, GAIL, IOCL, and HPCL visit our college every year to hire students. For the petroleum branch, students get placed in ONGC. The highest salary package offered in petroleum engineering is 22 LPA by ONGC. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. For chemical, the minimum salary package offered is 18 LPA by GAIL. The average salary package offered is 10.33 LPA. Not only PSUs Byjus, Wipro, and Algo8 companies also visit our campus for recruitment. All students who are in 3rd year get internships in PSUs like ONGC.
Infrastructure: As RGIPT is a central government college, that's why the infrastructure is good. It provides 24X7 Wi-Fi with high-speed and unlimited data on campus. Laboratories, classrooms, and library are fully air-conditioned and comfortable. The library has enough books for academics as well as for competition exams like GATE. Mess food is average, and it has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Other than a mess, night canteen is also available. This college has the best and clean courts for almost every sport like volleyball, basketball, tennis, and badminton, but cricket ground is under construction. Medical facilities are also good because 24X7 ambulances and medical clinics are available on campus.
Faculty: All faculty members are from IIT backgrounds. Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. All teachers are well experienced. Many courses make students ready for the industry. Semester and mid-semester exams are not hard. There is relative marking for exams, and students will have to maintain above than 5 CPI out of 10 as a passing percentage.
Other: Sports events like Energia, cultural events like Urjotsav, and many more events are conducted in this college. Many scholarships are available for students in terms of their merit. State government and ONGC scholarships are also provided in our college.

The college is worth the fees it charges. Infrastructure is good.
Placements: 70% students have been placed from 2022 batch. Most of the placements were related to petroleum and chemical sectors. Off-campus placements were also done in the previous batch. Do not worry much about the placements, just believe in yourself.
Infrastructure: There is hospital facility available at the campus premises. The campus is fully Wi-Fi. I'll rate infrastructure 5 out of 5 as it is well maintained. Everyday, sweepers comes and clean the corridors, roads, bathrooms, toilets and rooms. Internet connectivity is quite good.
Faculty: We have 8 semesters and in one semester we need to give 2 exams, i.e. mid semester exams and end semester exams. We have well reputed professors and PhD staff members who help the students by providing them good knowledge. They make us ready for the industry.
Other: As it was my interest to pursue chemical engineering course so I took it. Everything is perfect in the course curriculum.
