Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, value of money.
Placements: Placement in my college is average and decent. Vedantu is the main company for my branch. CSE and IT placements are still good. In 2024, the highest placement of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering is 19 LPA. And many good placements in Electronics and Mechanical branches also.
Infrastructure: My college is looking like heaven on earth, but some buildings, like some hostels, are very average, and the construction work of the mega hostel and corridor has been running for a long time. There is Dal Lake behind the campus. In hostels, they provide many things.
Faculty: The teachers are good. In my branch, some teachers are in the top 2% of scientists in the world. Many members of the faculty are guest faculty, but they are good. In my branch, many laboratories and machines related to the course are there. Many professors are very experienced.

Good college with less recognition, which it will gain in the upcoming years.
Placements: Almost 88% students were placed from Metallurgy. The highest package offered was 16 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA with an average package of 8 LPA. Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte and Wipro are the top companies. Internships are a bit tricky and there is almost no internship in the 1st year. However, you will get internships from 2nd year onwards in mid-tier companies depending on your resume.
Infrastructure: Medical facilities are good. Sports are becoming good day by day. Indoor games are plenty and premium too. The hostel food is average, sometimes it’s very tasty and good. The canteen has very limited variety of good quality food. The hostel is paced up with 6 beds in one big room for 1st year students and less functioning bathrooms available.
Faculty: The teachers are very top notch. The course is very relevant making the students placements ready. The semester exams are between tough to moderate, some are very difficult. Each and every teacher helps in the non-class study time. Many recommend books are available in the Library. Only your efforts matter.
Other: Metallurgy is not a very decent branch still everyone knows it. CSE shines very bright but Metallurgy is very good considering the incredible increase in competition. Fests are held and the weather is awesome. It’s a paradise on earth. Scholarship is also provided.

At the end average placements but I think one of the beat campus in terms of view.
Placements: In 2024 placement drive, only 40 students placed out of 70. the highest package was 13.95 LPA from vedanta in india And one company I don't remember its name but gave 18 LPA in oman. The lowest package is 5.5 from virdhman steel. Average package is about 7 LPA. Vedanta, JSW. 80-90% students got internship in their 3 year. Graduate traniee.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good. Labs are average. Classrooms are excellent. Library also good. Quality of food in mess was below average. Medical facilities is average. Sports ans games also average. What is/was the quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable, but some Kashmir teachers are assholes, they are based towards Kashmir students and gave them extra marks. Semester exams are not that much difficult but if u don't study them u gonna fails. 41 atleast marks.
Other: Because of my rank I got this course. So many Events conducted. And there is one cultural and one teach fest conducted throughout a year.

An honest review of NIT, Srinagar.
Placements: The college provides decent placements with the highest pac of about 45 LPA and the average package of around 15 LPA. Many companies visit the college for placements including Tata steel, JSW, Microsoft, etc. Almost 90% of the students get placed. There are on campus placements. In conclusion, the placements are better than expected.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are designed beautifully with smart boards, speakers and microphones in every class. Both eating and cooling systems are present and cleanliness is exceptional. Hostel rooms are of decent size with enough room for studying and relation developing. Every hostel has a park in front of it.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified with every member having a Ph.D. degree in their respective field. In addition to that, they are always available to help. They provide the students with theoretical knowledge and teach us to implement that knowledge in real life making us industry ready. The exams are not easy with each semester having a mid term and an end term examination. The difficulty level is exactly what you should expect from a national institute. But thanks to our teachers, around 80% students pass.
Other: Not only studies, but you get to enjoy a lot in the college. Many fests are organized by the institute to keep the students happy. Sports is also an important part of our institute.

Exploring Excellence:- A journey through NIT, Srinagar.
Placements: Placement at my college is decent; the highest package is 52 lacs for students; the average package at my college is around 7-8 lacs an year; overall, we say that placement is good; if you are good at studying, you will be paced. If you talk about my branch, the average salary is 7.5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good; many things are in process. If you love nature, you must come here; you definitely love it. In winter, the weather is so pleasant that snowfall is also happening. The college is situated near Dal Lake, which also increases its beauty.
Faculty: All the faculty of NIT Srinagar are well qualified; they are all very cooperative; they help us to improve our knowledge and groom our minds to any favorable things. The examination is also good it is held in two parts: midterm and final term. In midterm, there are 26 marks and 50 final marks.
Other: Connectivity is poor at Jammu Tawi Railway Station.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main.
