It is average for learning related to the syllabus. Placements are not up to the mark.
Placements: There are no proper placements. Maximum students get placed off-campus. The salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies do not visit the college for placements. Only 5-10% of students got an internship. Top roles are not offered here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is a bit intermediary. Labs and classrooms are good. The library is also a bit good. The ground is good where they encourage more when it comes to sports.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is good. They are knowledgeable. They convey their idea straight to students. Proper guidance is not provided for students about the industry. Exams are easy as the teaching staff members. The pass percentage is more than 80%.

I am satisfied because of teaching, but the placements aren't good, and the infrastructure is okay.
Placements: Around 30% of the students got placed. No top companies came to our college. There are no internships from college. Around 20% of the students are doing internships in social service. Overall, it's a good college.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are good. The library books will be updated as per the changes made by VTU. Wi-Fi is available at great speed. The labs and lab in-charges are good. The boys' hostel is good.
Faculty: The teaches are the best trained for teaching. They have both practical and theoretical knowledge. We can rely on them every time we get doubts. They are the best teachers I have ever seen. If we go for internships, then we can be ready for the industry.

Our college is the best institute for technical education.
Placements: The placement training classes were provided from the third semester in our college. Almost 40% of the students got placed in the mechanical core domain. Mechanical core recruiting companies were Eleation & Raymonds. The average salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels were provided with a Wi-Fi facility, and library timings were extended during exams. Hostels were very hygienic and well maintained. They encouraged sports and cultural activities. The food served in the hostel was the best. The college canteen was also good. Medical facilities can be availed by approaching with concerned hostel warden.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very approachable and they provided the best technical knowledge. E-learning can be availed with SVIT Portals. Regular interval tests were conducted. Even the E-notes provided for the syllabus were very helpful. The course curriculum was strictly adhered to as per VTU syllabus.
Other: I opted for this course because I had a passion for the machinery that we observe in everyday life. Initiatives like SAE & Ishare should be strengthened to the maximum so that students can avail maximum benefit out of that.

I would recommend this college for students who are aiming to pursue engineering technically.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. The college has got a placement team that works efficiently for the students to get placed. IS and CS and even EC branch students almost get placed. But for other branches, placement has been sceptical. Placement team prepares students from the very first year in all the ways.
Infrastructure: The college has got a good atmosphere. It's located a little away from the city. There is a very good Wi-Fi connection on the campus. Labs are maintained well. The library is good. But I would suggest improving the collections of books. Hostel facilities are to be improved little.
Faculty: The teaching staff at our college is very friendly, but they are also strict when there is a need. They are well-qualified with degrees like Ph.D., MS, etc. Notes they provide are greatly satisfied when VTU exams are concerned. Professors are available at any time for students. They help to increase knowledge in every field and so increasing our confidence.

Overall good college with great teaching staff and a good infrastructure.
Placements: A decent number of companies visit the campus. Majority of them recruit eligible CS and IS students. Both in campus placements and information about pool campus drives are provided. Programs to make you placement ready are carried out every year for interested students. The placement opportunities are majorly for CS and IS branches. As I am a mechanical engineering student, I can say that the teaching staff will help you in letting know the opportunities outside the college.
Infrastructure: The total infrastructure is spread in an area of around 12 acres, canteen food is good and the library gets you most of the books you will need. The hostel is good. The menu gets equally distributed between north Indian and south Indian dishes, the taste is okay. Wi-Fi facility is available both in college and hostel.
Faculty: Where this college outshines and is better from the rest is the teaching. As this is a college started and run by teachers. They're really helpful not only during college hours but whenever you need them, especially the staff of Mechanical engineering as I'm a mechanical engineering student the staff have really helped me both in my education as well as the other things I should be doing outside college. They'll arrange workshops in college and at the same time inform about workshops/internships hosted outside the college.
Other: I had heard that the faculty members were really knowledgeable and friendly. I was not disappointed during my course duration. Although I wish the Mechanical department should get much more attention and help from the placement department like CS/Is branches get.
