Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at SAL worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at SAL worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Pros:

* Good placement record: Most students (around 60-90%) reported getting placed in reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Byju's, and Wipro, with an average salary package ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR6 LPA.
* Industry-ready curriculum: The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for the industry, making them employable upon graduation.
* Supportive faculty: Many reviewers praised the faculty members, describing them as helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced.
* Good infrastructure: Although not exceptional, the infrastructure, including classrooms, labs, and campus facilities, is considered satisfactory.
* Extracurricular activities: The college hosts various events, festivals, and sports competitions, providing students with a well-rounded experience.

Cons:

* Limited hostel facilities: Not all students may find accommodations within the campus, requiring external arrangements.
* Slow Wi-Fi speeds: A few reviewers mentioned that the Wi-Fi connectivity in labs could be improved.
* Unhelpful faculty in some cases: A minority of students felt that some faculty members lacked enthusiasm and didn't provide adequate support.

Conclusion:
While B.E/B.Tech at SAL Institute might not offer exceptional infrastructure or state-of-the-art amenities, its strong placement record, industry-ready curriculum, and supportive faculty make it a worthwhile investment for aspiring engineers. However, students should weigh these advantages against potential limitations like limited hostel facilities and slow Wi-Fi speeds.

Note: Individual responses may vary depending on personal preferences, academic backgrounds, and expectations. These findings are based on aggregated reviews and should not be taken as a guarantee of success.

The infrastructure of our college is developing.
Placements: Our mechatronics course is a combination of three courses, i.e., mechanical, electronics and computer. If you take admission according to scope, it is a risk for you. I suggest you never choose college as per the scope and choose based on your interest.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not available for BE students here, but the quality of the food served in the canteen is very nice. Medical facilities, sports and games are the best compared to other colleges. The atmosphere in the canteen is always fine and clean. Students who are not able to bring lunch from homes can eat in the canteen.
Faculty: You are not developed in technical wise, but your personality will be developed by faculty members. You will get ready for any work, and faculty members tell about your strengths and which department you can handle very well. Somewhat mechatronics faculty members provide us with extra knowledge and practical knowledge.
Other: Events, fest and extracurricular activities are organised by SAL Education every year. Scholarships are provided here.

SAL is good for practical knowledge and activities but bad for providing constant study.
Placements: I am not attending any interview in placements programme, so I have no idea about placements. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 15,000-25,000 per month and companies put a bind of 2-3 years compulsorily. The highest salary is offered for our mechatronics stream on our SAL campus. So, the placements system is good enough here.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not available in our college. However, the study system is good, with also physical activities and labs. The infrastructure is very bad, and the college should be modified from the hospital. The building is very old, and there is also no air-conditioning in classrooms. However, our sports ground is huge, and it is enough to play cricket and basketball.
Faculty: Faculty members here are not good, and for every 3-4 months, faculty members are changed. Faculty members don't provide enough knowledge for subjects also. However, some teachers are good, and they have a doctorate degree. Our principal is good. Overall faculty members are not enough qualified to teach also, and they provide less practical knowledge.

Our college has a good campus and faculty members with helping nature.
Placements: Right now, I didn't attend any internship. I don't know about the salary packages offered by companies because I didn't attend any company interview.
Infrastructure: There is a good atmosphere in our college, and I liked to study here. Classrooms and library of our college are good, but our college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facility. Sports are also weak in our institute. I don't stay in the hostel, so I don't have deep knowledge about it. The canteen is also good, neat and clean. But there is very much crowd, and in summers, classrooms don't have proper air-conditioning.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good, and some faculty members are good at teaching. But some of them don't have proper knowledge of their own field. They first learn the topics and then explain in the class. Their ability is also weak, but they all are good. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it is a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering. I wish that faculty members should be capable of teaching this field. Events are not organised as per the requirement.
