The campus of the college is lush green throughout.
Placements: In placements, SVNIT has a decent average of 14 LPA last year and the highest of 52 LPA, which was offered by Microsoft. Sixty-five percent of the students were placed the previous year. The major recruiters at SVNIT include Microsoft, Reliance Digital, and the Adani Group. Many companies offer internships at SVNIT.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, with separate buildings for different departments and research labs for students. The canteen at SVNIT offers decent quality food at affordable rates. The campus is fully connected with internet facilities, including LAN and Wi-Fi. The mess at SVNIT is impressive, as expected from an NIT.
Faculty: The teachers at SVNIT are helpful and good at interacting with students. The teaching quality is decent, and the course curriculum is relevant to the semiconductor industry. The semester exams are quite challenging, requiring students to focus on their studies to achieve a good CGPA.
Other: Electronics and Communication is a good course in terms of industrial development, as the future depends on the electronics industry. The college hosts many fests, including Sparsh (the cultural fest) and Mindbend (the technical fest).

Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements of electronics and communication department are good generally, after Computer Science, it has the highest placements percentage. But in 2023-2024, ECE placements were not that good, in fact the placements went down by nearly 23% compared to the last year. The placements percentage of ECE during 2023-2024 period is 55.1%. The average package offered is 12.5 LPA, median package is 12 LPA and the least was 3.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JPMC, Well Fargo, John Deere, Meesho, Reliance, GE healthcare, and NSE. The internships percentage is low in American Express, Microsoft, JPMC, Intel, NVIDIA, etc.
Infrastructure: The department buildings’ infrastructure is good. The classrooms are large and spacious, a library is available in the department, and the labs are also good having good equipments. The hostel provided for the first year students was okay and not that good, the washrooms are not maintained, but the rooms are clean and good. The mess food is difficult for people who are habitual of having spicy food. The food quality is good. Sports and games facilities are good and there’s no issue with that.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful with most of the faculty members having completed their PHDs. They are well knowledgeable having good experience. Their teaching quality is good. Few of them are well read but they can't convey to the students properly. I think curriculum is relevant compared to the other colleges. We had 3 core subjects in our first year, we didn't have subjects of mechanical and civil branches. The semester exams are moderate in difficulty terms.

Overall review about svnit is good. I suggest others to join in svnit if you get chance.
Placements: During the current recession period, job placements have not met expectations. Companies are receiving fewer opportunities compared to previous years, resulting in a decrease in both the number of interviews and the offered salary packages. Consequently, it has become more challenging to secure a job placement.
Infrastructure: The girls hostel (MTB) is a great place to stay. The hygiene standards are excellent and the food served is of high quality. The accommodation offers the convenience of having only two members in a single room for the first two years, and a single room for the next two years. Additionally, the newly constructed departments are also of good quality.
Faculty: The faculty possesses ample knowledge. Frankly speaking, once the concepts are explained, you are required to learn everything independently. The ECE course has been updated this year, making it more challenging as 5th semester subjects have been introduced in the 3rd semester, thereby making it slightly more difficult for studying.

SVNIT college review. Placement scenerio worse, infrastructure above average.
Placements: A lot of companies visit the campus for recruitment. Top companies like Visa, Oracle, Well Fargo, JPMC gives the placement offer. In year 2024, the placement scenerio is comparatively not good. The lowest package is about 3LPA and the highest is around 34 LPA. Around 55 percentage of student got placement. The placement record of CSE and chemical engineering department is better than that of other departments. Some PSUs also come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: There are three girls hostel,6 boys hostel and one faimly hostel in the SVNIT campus. The infrastructure of the hostels is quite good. The food quality is of hostels are just average. Wi-Fi facility is also available in every hostel, the speed of the Wi-Fi is too good. The library contains good number of books related to course curriculum, but apart from course curriculum another books are present in very few number. Medical facility is also available in the campus, there is a dispensary which operates 24*7.
Faculty: Course curriculum is regularly updated according to the industry needs. The curriculum consists of 6 month internship which gives the student industry exposure. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D. but sadly they don't teach properly. They just read the PPT and leave the class. In a semester, exam are held two times. One is mid semester examination and other is end semester examination. Apeat from these two examinations, regular quiz and tutorial tests are taken. The semester examinations are of moderate level.

The hostel and timing are not up to par, but the infrastructure and college life are good.
Placements: The placements in SVNIT were quite good last year; 44 LPA was the highest. And the average is 8 to 9 LPA, with CSE around 19 LPA and ECE around 15 LPA. The placements in the core are also good here, where NVIDIA and Tesla Industries also take interviews.
Infrastructure: The class and course subjects are very in-depth, and the departments are very good. The library is very big and very neat and clean, and it contains four floors. The hostels are good but not excellent; there is Wi-Fi and LAN in the hostel, and many sports tournaments are like internit, inter-year, and inter-department, and many things are there in sports. The canteen is also good, but no chicken will be available.
Faculty: The curriculum includes lecturers, practicals, and tutorials that help students gain good knowledge. Exams are conducted in the following ways: quiz, midterm, semester, and practical, and these allot points to the respected candidate. The exams are neither too difficult nor too easy, with a passing grade of around 85 percent.
Other: The events conducted here are very good.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

In SVNIT, computer engineering and mechanical engineering are good. If you have taken ECE and have good coding skills, then you can get the best placement. For ECE branch, very few companies visit the campus. Very few chances to get a job in companies like Google.
