Our college provides good placements and facilities.

Placements: Placements for the program I am studying here are pretty nice. The top recruiting companies which come to hire students comprises of Schlumberger, Cairn India, ExxonMobil, and Halliburton. Talking about summer internships, several companies come to UPES for the same.

I am satisfied with faculty members, placements, and infrastructure of this college.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Slumberger, Cain, and ExxonMobil. Almost 10-20% of students got internships in these companies

Good infrastructure, great faculty, beautiful campus but not great placements.

Placements: The college claimed of more than 96% placement but that was due to the fact that many did not sit for the placement or were removed from the process because they were unable to give the test of a few companies or were not getting placed anywhere. The highest in my branch was 21 LPA and the average was around 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DXC and TCS. Around 10 out of 35 got internship in a company in Gurugram, others either got it on their own or through links sent by the college.

Good infrastructure and one of the best placements to start your career.

Placements: Almost 99% of students who were sitting in placements got an offer from various companies. The highest package offered was 21 LPA by silicon labs and the lowest was about 3.5 LPA by Panasonic. The average has been 5LPA. Top recruiters were Cognizant, DXC Technology, Siemens and L&T. But most of the students got the role in the IT industry as software engineers. Few students got the roles in core industry.

Good Placement, Helping faculty.

Placements: 95% placement record is there. Average package is almost 7-8lakh depending upon the company and the student. From my course 70% student get internship and 90% student get placed. In my course top role offered is of Field Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, etc.

Good placement, infrastructure is also good .

Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed. Almost all students got an internship in good companies like Exxon and cairn. Students get placed in occeaneing and Exxon and shell, cairn and many more. Overall, UPES gives wider opportunities. They have a chapter and society for the betterment of the student.

Everything is good in this college, but the fee structure is high.

Placements: Around 77 students were placed in our course, and there were 3 to 4 batches of it. The top recruiting companies were Airbus, Boeing, Air India, and many more. In the previous year, many students got internships at the airport and the Indian Airforce.

Good college must take admission to make your future bright.

Placements: As studying so no idea about it yet. But I must say till then many students are in B.Tech and all can be placed with nice placements. Companies are so many but it also depends on students in which company they are interested. Then they must plan accordingly.

Fight for your place but worth the fight.

Placements: Placements are good enough in our college. The covid year had low placements but now, they climb high. The highest salary package offered is 51 LPA. You don't focus on the amount but focus on companies that visit which is good enough. If you fight for it, you'll get it.

Very good library and a few awesome professors.

Placements: Normal placements are not a very high percentage of placements in college for our branch. Core placements are not that many, non core you'll get placed easily. Too much politics for core placement, need to have connections with seniors and all that. It's frustrating at times.

The campus is very beautiful with a good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements depend on how the students perform individually. If you are looking for a good career, then look for core sector-related fields only as they have immense scope and you should go for it. There are many good companies like ONGC, Haliburton, Shell, and many more are coming. The salary package was good. Most of the students were placed. About 92% of the students got placed. It depends on you because there are fewer students who get placed in core companies.

Placements: Around 85-94% of students were placed in our college. The highest salary package was 22 LPA and the lowest salary package was 7 LPA. Many students got internships in startups and many got jobs in big companies. I don't know which companies they got internships at. I can't say about the roles.

Our college has an enthusiastic crowd of passionate people.

Placements: In terms of placement, it is one of the best as compared to other institutions, as the students get opportunities to work with one of the finest organisations in the energy domain. The placement percentage of our college is close to 90% as Electrical is the most popular course in UPES. The placement process does not seem to be rigorous as the curriculum is so updated that interviewing questions are already being taught from the start of the course. Also, UPES has a 5-year placement assistance pr...

This college has research oriented curriculum.

Placements: Students are yet to pass out so no one is placed as of now. The top recruiting companies like Adani, Jindal and Aarti chemicals visit our college for the placements. Even Honeywell and Technip also came. I would like to rate it 4 stars, because the number of core companies is less than the number of software companies. In this batch, all students get internships. This college has MOU with Aditya Birla and they selected 2 students. So, everything is good.

An institution that transforms students into professionals for the industry.

Placements: Around 99% of students placed in our college. The highest package is 16 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. Exxon Mobil, Shell, Cairn, Reliance, etc., are the companies visiting. Academic internship under experienced professionals of the industry is provided. Reservoir engineer, Process data engineer, Engineering graduate trainee, etc., are the roles offered.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: This year the placement for CE+RP was 100%. Companies like ExxonMobil, and Shell came for the placement procedures. The highest package was 12LPA this year. Till now almost 80% of the internships have been covered in companies like PSUs, Reliance, BPCL etc.

I can't say much about satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the college due to covid .

Placements: Almost all the students who want placements got placed but not in the desired sectors. They were not placed in core and most of them went in IT, sales, and marketing. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA by Flipkart and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Flipkart, Royal Enfield, and Volvo- Eicher are some top recruiters. No one got internships as we had our 3rd year in COVID-19 lockdown.

Review of School of Engineering, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: Students who want to get placed will bag an offer but the presence of top companies is less. Packages offered are mostly mediocre between 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The placement cell is mediocre and has its share of faults.

It is a good college with a poor ROI.

Placements: Our batch got placed at an average salary package that ranges from 4-5 LPA. It has a decent placement record with a salary package that ranges from more than 20 LPA. Often students are bullied into taking below-par placements so that the university can flex their 100% placement records.

This college is average in placements, but good in study purpose.

Placements: Almost the whole class is placed, but not in the core automobile sector. But in the sales and marketing sector which is not suitable as students learn 4 years about automobile and now they get a chance to work as a sales executive so it is a waste for the student.
