Yes, the School of Open Learning, (SOL) DU is considered a good college. It offers a degree in ODL mode with affiliation to Delhi University. Furthermore, the curriculum is frequently updated, and the faculty are knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields. The degree is valid and accepted almost everywhere, as SOL DU is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Students can visit the regional study center to access the library. Apart from this, a student who has studied neither in a government school nor he/she belongs to SC/ST category but his/her family income from all sources is below INR 2.5 LPA, is also eligible to apply. 

The total tuition fee for SOL MBA is INR 20,000. This fee is calculated based on the first-year fee. Hence, the actual amount may vary. Moreover, some other fee components may also be added to the total fee. The application fee for MBA is INR 500 for unreserved/OBC and INR 250 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. A set of documents has to be submitted during the SOL DU admission. An application is treated as incomplete if the required documents are not attached to it. Further, the documents required during the process are:

• Duly filled application form
• Bank draft of the admission confirmation fee
• Two recent passport-size photographs (one for the application and another for the identity card)
• Self-attested photocopy of Class 10 and 12 passing certificates
• Transfer Certificate in original
• Self-attested photocopy of Reserve Category Certificate of the candidate (If any)
• Original Income Certificate (BPL Ration Card)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card

NOTE: Candidates applying for UG courses have to submit Class 10 and Class 12 pass certificate. Applicants of PG courses must submit the UG degree mark sheets along with other documents.

DU SOL offers a BA course at the UG level for a duration of three years that is spread across four semesters. The School of Open Learning, University of Delhi have a semester-wise exam for all the UG and PG courses. To be eligible for SOL BA degree, candidates must appear in all the semester examinations. The minimum eligibility requirement for SOL MBA admission is that the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate. Aspirants should have passed the qualifying exam from any recognized university. It is further necessary that the candidate hold the educational certificates as proof of eligibility at the time of admission. Moreover, candidates are admitted based on these criteria only as the admission is merit-based.

Candidates seeking admission to DU SOL BA course must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a single recognised board. For SOL BA (Hons) admission, students need to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 65%. It is also necessary that the aspirant hold the pass certificate to become eligible for admission.

Yes, DU School of Learning indeed offers BBA programme at the undergraduate level. Students can pursue the course in the field of Financial Investment Analysis (FIA). The basic eligibility requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board with Mathematics as a compulsory subjects. Yes, the School of Open Learning offers a MCom course at the postgraduate level. The post-graduate programme offered by SOL has a minimum duration of two years and a maximum duration of 4 years for completing the course. The SOL MCom admission process for the academic year 2022 is now closed. DU SOL admission 2023 is expected to open in the month of December for the PG courses.

Yes, the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi offers a three-year BA course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BA programme, SOL DU also offers BA (Hons) courses at the UG level. DU SOL admission to both BA and BA (Hons) courses is based on candidates' performance in their last qualifying examination (Class 12).

The School of Open Learning, University of Delhi offers a BCom course for a duration of three years, which is spread across six semesters. As per the last year trends, School of Open Learning University of Delhi had released till the second merit list for PG courses MA and MCom in Dec 2022. DU SOL PG merit lists are released based on merit as well as entrance exams. After the release of DU SOL PG merit list 2023, selected candidates are required to accept seat in a given time period. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment is cancelled. Hence, there are chances that DU SOL will be releasing upto two merit lists for the PG courses.

School of Open Learning admission to this course is merit-based only for the students of Delhi University. However, students studying outside DU need to appear for an entrance test conducted by Delhi University. For SOL MA admission, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by SOL. School of Open Learning 50% of seats will be filled by direct admission (based on the merit of graduation scores) and the remaining 50% will be filled on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by SOL.

SOL DU BA fee is INR 1,500. The fee mentioned here is the total tuition fee and does not include components such as University Student Welfare Fund, College Student Welfare Fund and University Development Fund, among others.
