Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. There is no age limit for the candidates. Candidate with below mentioned eligibility are also eligible: Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA. SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects. A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration. 2021 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE). About my college, SIET honest review .

Placements: The total percentage of students who were placed in the course is about 180 in the computer science branch. The highest package of our college is about 15 LPA, the average package is 4-5 LPA, and the lowest package of the college is 3 LPA. The top recruiters of the CS branch are Wipro and TCS.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is not very good; it's like average for students. The students get facilities, but not in every aspect; e.g., the Wi-Fi sometimes gets disconnected when we change places, and the labs are not in good condition, especially in the summer season when the AC doesn't work.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are good and helpful in nature. The teachers are well qualified and experienced. No teacher is fake; they are available for students every hour to ask questions. The course curriculum is valuable and helpful for students to get knowledge and become practical.

Other: Well, after passing the 12th and getting the results, I talked to my parents about my further studies, and then after some time, we decided to pursue this course as for my further studies.

I am glad to review my college.

Placements: Above 70% were placed in this course. The highest package is above 20 lakhs, and the lowest is 3 lakhs. The top recruiting companies for this course are Google and many others. Above 70% were placed in this course and in various computer companies.

Infrastructure: The faculty members and infrastructure are very good. The Wi-Fi speed is 100 Mbps. Labs are digital with all facilities provided. Classrooms are awesome and have many seats available for students. Hostels are good regarding food, rooms, and faculty members.

Faculty: The teachers are very good, helpful, and friendly, so there is a very good relationship between students and faculty members. There are two semesters in one year, with about 900-1000 total marks. You should score 40% to pass the semester exams.

Value for money for your : SIET.

Placements: 10% students placed. Minimum 3 Lacs and maximum 7 Lacs packages offered in B.Teach. Students get placed in companies that are not as popular, such as Pie information com, Teach Mahindra, Mobilite etc. Positions like Jr Software Engineer, Design Engineer etc. Are secured at a whopping package of 3 LPA to a maximum of 5 LPA. There are no provided by the college, one has to explore companies independly.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the college is better, providing decent speed. It available throughout the library, administration department. The infrasture is acceptable, though not exceptional. Wi-Fi is available but it work in the canteen areas. The quality of food provided to students in mess is not good and taste.

Faculty: I felt disheartened when the faculty members are let me down in campus drive and make me suffer. Lectures are not provided in amount. Faculty not providing the content for exam. Students are not depend on faculty for studies. Very tough semister exam held through aktu. SIET exam center are going to others colleges because it is anamonous college For industry this course is not well prepared.

Other: College have to provide best faculty members. Practical knowledge also provided.

Overall decent college with good students.

Placements: Around 15 to 20% of the students have been placed. Mostly service-based companies visited the campus to hire software engineers, develop and associate engineers, etc. The highest package was around 12 LPA while the average package goes around 4-5 LPA students need to find internships by themselves and companies like Oracle, Grey Range, and Infotech hire the students.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well and good with large space and AC. The college campus is equipped with a WI-FI facility and water coolers, the college also has a central library for students. The hostel is also so good and quite peaceful for studying and relaxing food and mess provides tasty and clean food. The campus also has a basketball badminton volleyball court with a large ground area.

Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and friendly in nature with students. They are well qualified knowledgeable and GATE qualified in their respective subjects. But exceptions might be there. They teach all the topics from basic to advanced in the easiest way possible. The syllabus is a little bit holder but good for a thorough knowledge of the students. Semester exams are medium-level if you study well in class and solve previous year's papers.

Other: I chose this course to pursue my dream of engineering. And become and software engineer. I wish subjects were need to be equal in both theory and practical knowledge. Yes events, fests and scholarships are available.

Average placements and faculty, with decent infrastructure.

Placements: A modest percentage, approximately 10% of students, secure placements through our college, necessitating the majority to look for off-campus employment. The average salary package hovers between 3 to 4 LPA, with the highest recorded package standing at 7 LPA (albeit occuring infrequently and rarely), and the lowest at around 2 LPA, potentially ever lower in some cases. The campus witnesses limited participation from renowned companies and those companies that do engage often extend comparatively low packages for roles such as Web designing, Junior Software Engineer etc. Regrettably, the college lacks an organized internship program, requiring students to proactively seek opportunities independently.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure within our department is adequately satisfactory, neither exceptionally outstanding nor subpar. The WiFi consistenly maintains availability and provides a decent speed. The Labs are reasonably equipped, although ocassional instances of broken or malfunctioning intruments have been noted. Classrooms are well-lit, maintained in a clean condition, and utilize whiteboards for teaching purposes. The Library while fair enough, provides a decent collection of books. Hostel facilities are average, ensuring access to internet, electricity and food services. Our campus features a singular canteen, which offers food of good quality. Unfortunately medical facilities are not available. The campus ocassionally hosts Sport events and extracurrilar activities.

Faculty: The faculty quality exhibits a spectrum, ranging from helpful and friendly teachers to those displaying arrogant behaviour. While the majority of teachers are well qualified and knowlegable, some appears to lack the expertise required for efficient teaching. The curriculum prioritizes academics, imparting solid theoritical knowledge but falls short in providing practical applications, leaving students to pursue additional relevant knowledge on their own. Semester exams are notably challenging, but with proper guidance they can be managed. The passing percentage typically hovers between 75% to 80%.

Other: I opted for this course due to my interest in computer science and software development, coupled with familial urgency for prompt college admission. The teaching methodology appears somewhat antiquated, and I believe enhancements could facilitate easier comprehension of concepts.
