Sharda University - The world is here.

Placements: The companies that come to Sharda are service based, but the number of companies is around 30-35. You can easily get an offer letter if you have basic knowledge of all the subjects that you read and projects that you have done. Do as many standalone projects you can do.

The college is not great, but it is a decent one.

Placements: I'm in the second year right now, so I don't know much about the placements. But as far as I know in the year 2017, the highest package was around 7 LPA, the lowest was around 2.5 LPA, and the average package lies around 4 LPA, which is good for a fresher. The placements are not 100% because the students don't match the criteria of the company.

Good security and a number of fests.

Placements: The placements are good and are provided by the college. It depends on a students' calibre if he/she can take the placement or not. Every student cannot be placed. The companies visiting are increasing in numbers, and we seek more increase in the future as the university is new and still emerging in this field.

The campus is super, and many countries students come, and it's like the world is here.

Placements: Those students, who get good marks and have good skills, they get selected first. In Sharda, there are many companies come for the placements. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many big companies visit the college for the placements. Sharda takes care of all the students in the line of the placements. Every student must choose Sharda if he wants the private university in the field of the placement. Everyone has the chance to take a participant in every company placements.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: The placements are good. The placement percentage is low, but still, internships are good. The students can get a great opportunity by getting desired roles. Many seniors got placed in big companies with a very great package. Only 75-80% were placed in our batch, but the senior batch was placed more.

They offer good infrastructure facilities. The placements are IT and CSE branch.

Placements: If we talk about placements in Sharda University, it is very good for IT and CSE stream if someone is opting for B.Tech course. Although many companies of streams like electronic and communication, mechanical (including Automobiles), electrical and electronics also participated in the placement. The companies that visited campus in 2014 batch of the mechanical branch are Sun Steering, Mahindra & Mahindra, Holland Tractors, FedEx (for Supply chain management Role). All of them offered the positio...

I am satisfied with the faculty of the college and the knowledge they are giving.

Placements: A no of MNCs always visits our university for the placement. They also give good packages. There is also a placement training cell on the college campus, and they are providing good training there. The university is trying to provide the placement to each and every deserving candidate.

The campus is huge, but lack of proper administration and disappointing placements.

Placements: I was from the first batch of the university and as expected the strength in the number of students were lot and placements were low with packages offered to be miserly. The companies offer were unheard of, and additionally, there was a lot of politics during the eligibility and screening process for the companies from the people in charge of handling the placement process. The packages on offer were low that many students were unable to accept it. Some got placed in software companies, and the ...

Good for CS, IT, ECE only. Not good for electrical, mechanical, civil and other core branches.

Placements: I would say that there are decent placement opportunities. Every student eligible for placement get an opportunity to sit in more than five companies approximately. The problem is that hardly any core company visited the campus. Mostly, the companies related to IT, BPO, KPO, and Field Sales and Marketing companies visited the campus for placements. There is a great hope to be placed in companies like TCS, Infosys through both on-campus placements and off-campus placements because these companies...

Review of School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University.

Placements: Placements in our college are really good. If students perform well here, then they will definitely get placed. The placement percentage for mechanical engineering is 70% to 75% here. For the computer science department, placements are really good in our college.

In my opinion, Sharda University is average in terms of placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement for our seniors in civil engineering is average, and the package is approximately 1.8lac per annum. The placements of Sharda University of civil engineering job is not good, but 2-3 companies came for placement. Thanks for providing the placement for civil engineer students but the package is not well so I can get an awesome day and I will be there at my job, and I have been trying to get the job from here to the core company.

Good infrastructure. Overall, a good college

Placements: The placements were pretty decent. The companies do come for the campus drives but the students have to put some extra effort to have that competitive edge over others. The companies which come for placements are- Indian Navy, Zycus, NTT Data, etc. The internship opportunities are also good for the students to learn something new and gain the experience about what is going in the industry.

Not dissatisfied but we want more improvement in academics

Placements: It is a private university but the placement of Sharda is not too good. Some students were placed with a low package and I hope it will increase now. The big companies were not coming to hire the student Even for a student who has good a academic record, they prefer to go to IITs, so you can easily understand the placement of Sharda University.

The civil engineering department needs to be shut down.

Placements: The placements are horrible and although a few students managed to get placed in L&W or Hyperfiltration, the salary is too low. Out of 140 or so students in the batch, only 3-4 were able to join because the conditions imposed by the companies were ridiculous (long bonds, under developed locations, etc). The placements are decreasing every year but the department refuses to take any responsibility and instead shifts the blame on students because apparently its "our job to bring companies". In fac...

Worth for CSE/IT branches due to placement ratio compared to other branches/seniors

Placements: For computer science and IT branches, the placements were quite good as compared to other branches and senior batch. About 70% students got placed in different MNC companies. Students were offered a salary starting from 1.8 lacs per annum to 4 lacs per annum. Companies like Cognizant, NIIT, tech Mahindra took a major share of placements. Even Indian Navy came for campus recruitment and 2 students got selected.

Good infrastructure with no knowledge imparting.

Placements: 2014 pass outs were the second batch for mechanical engineering. The placements records were very poor. Out of 370 students, only 20-25 students got placed from mechanical. Same was the result for other branches also. About 80% placements came in IT sector like Tech Mahindra and Cognizant. No company visited for campus placements for mechanical. The average package was 1.8L per annum. For 2013 batch pass outs, there were no placements at all.

Life at Sharda University is very good, you will have a good time.

Placements: Placement is not that good. In technical courses, technical graduates got placed in marketing firms. Only 10-15 technical core companies came at my time. As the university is improving its facilities day by day, it may be the improved by now.

Better than good, but less than amazing.

Placements: Talking about placements, it is not what it looks like for big name such as Sharda University. The placement in the college is average if you are talking about non-core branches in engineering, but the good thing is that they are trying very hard on it and it reflects on the placements so they improving quite well year by year. May companies like Apollo Tyres, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Tagzipper, etc have visited during my time. Roles given to the students are satisfactory. ...

Sharda University College review.

Placements: Average placements. Around 50% students got placed. The average salary is 3 LPA. Companies which visited were Tech Mahindra, Aon Hewitt, NTT Data, TCS and few core companies. The roles offered were mostly of analyst, test engineer, software engineer, etc. Internships were mostly fetched by the students themselves. The lowest package is 1.4 LPA.

Why the world is here at Sharda University?

Placements: Placement is not a problem in Sharda University because companies come for placement offers each year. Last year, almost 60% of students get placed and I know this because one of my seniors got placed in IBM recently. From last year's records, 90+% of computer science students have been placed with packages ranging from 2.5 lakhs to 8 lakhs. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Gulf IT, etc came to campus. This is only for the computer science department. I am not entirely sure about other departm...
