Here's a summary of the key points:

* Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is average, with some old buildings and limited resources.
* Hostel Facilities: The hostels are decent, but the food quality is not great, and maintenance is poor.
* Facilities: The college has a big library with a computer lab, and Wi-Fi is available in some areas.
* Teaching Quality: Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, but some may have varying levels of enthusiasm.
* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry requirements, but some students felt it could be improved.

Sports facilities are too good.
Placements: I graduated from this college in 2021. In my graduating class, 80% of students were placed. The highest package was 37 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Deloitte, Amazon, Google, and Grow. The overall average package was 5,00,000 LPA, and the average of the top 100 covers was 20 Lacs per annum. The college also provided internships in top companies.
Infrastructure: Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science was established in 1952, so its infrastructure is old. However, the facilities are modern, and the college has one central library that serves all departments. The library has Wi-Fi, and its sports facilities are top-notch, offering students the opportunity to compete at the the national level.
Faculty: The teachers are highly knowledgeable, and the curriculum is balanced. However, we have to do extra work by ourselves to get good marks in some subjects. The semester exams are not tough if we study for 1 to 2 hours daily.
Other: I chose the electronics branch because I was personally interested in it. The college organizes an annual function called "ayam," and the clubs organize various smaller events throughout the year.

SGSITS: The Great Wall of Indore .
Placements: In the Computer Science branch, the ratio of placement was quite good. The highest package this year was from our branch in 2024. The top recruiting companies of our college include Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, etc. Almost 75% of students were placed in our course, and the average package offered was about 7.5 Lacs. The top roles offered remain software developers, software developer interns, and web designers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college ranges from average to good, depending on the department a person refers to. Talking about my department, it is quite good. The lecture halls and seminar rooms are great, although there is no internet connectivity or Wi-Fi facilities for students. The hostel facilities are good enough, like needs are fulfilled, basic amenities a person can get, and minimum needs are fulfilled. Also, no Wi-Fi facilities are available in the hostel as well. The library facility is also good. The quality of mess food is moderate, and sports and games are very much encouraged by our college.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and qualified, like PhDs and delegates from IITs and IIMs. The course subjects like technical English and programming are the most practical subjects that we get to learn for our exposure to the corporate world. Therefore, the courses are quite helpful.
Other: I chose this course because of its effectiveness, high packages, and high educational values. The best things about my course are the faculty teaching us here as well as the equipment in our branch, which is quite well-functioning. Overall, I did not analyze any improvements, being a first-year student. The events in our college are really exciting and great, especially the events organized by the Alumni Club and associations. The information for scholarships is given to us, and the campus crowd consists of all kinds of people ranging from hardcore toppers to low-core engineers. Networking is great here, and extracurricular activities are encouraged. The surroundings are great with worthwhile opportunities.

This college has good placements, faculty, alumni network and connectivity.
Placements: Around 65% of the students get placed from electronics and telecommunications while the others prepare for competitive exams like GATE, CAT, etc. The highest package offered was 37 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very old and poor, most of the equipments are not working. The Library is quite good. The hostel it is just okay. There is poor wifi but the canteen is good. Sports and games are very poor as there is only one playground which too is very small.
Faculty: Mostly the old professors are really knowledgeable, their teaching sense is extraordinary. But then the new faculty members are not that good, you'll need youtube to study. The curriculum is up to date as the college is autonomous. Semester exams are tough but you can score decent by solving previous year papers and reading class notes. Passing percentage varies from subject to subject and depends on the faculty too. There is extremely strict checking done for some of the subjects, even then the passing percentage is 90%.
Other: Fees is very less for the placements offered, so it's definitely value for money. I chose EnTc because it opens two paths for me, I could go for software and also for the core. I think the labs are to be taken care of by the college. There are very less events in the college. The management is very strict and orthodox. Many of the events are not permitted after 7 pm. During fest, boys and girls are not allowed to sit together. Connectivity is the best part as the college is in the middle of the city, the railway station is extremely close being within 1 km radius and the airport is at a distance of 14 km. If you belong to the SC/ST category, you will get a scholarship. Also, if you are an MP domicile, you can get MMVY scholarship. Again, there’s not much extracurricular activity happening. The teachers don't support at all. So if you want a good college life, it's really difficult here but you can make it good by yourself, can't rely on the college.

The college offers us a good time to spend in college and can build up our network.
Placements: Companies in my college offer a dynamic range of packages. This selects students for different roles in the company. Companies like Tata, Infosys, and Deloitte visit our campus. Our TPO has a very good relationship with the company HR. The college is doing its best to provide placements.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi enabled throughout the campus, which offers decent speed. Classrooms and the library are good enough and can accommodate a good number of students. The college has a canteen too on the campus, and stationery is also available on the college campus.
Faculty: The faculty is all well qualified. The majority of them are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields. The teachers are available even outside of the classroom to help us out in every respect in which they can, and the curriculum we were taught is very much relevant to the industries.
Other: The campus is only 32 acres, which is not much but is a lot in Indore main city. It has high connectivity to the railway station, which is only 300 m away from it.

Good Placements, Really Good Value for Money, Bad Infrastructure.
Placements: In 2023, the highest package placed was 44 LPA on campus to an IT student and 52 LPA off campus to an EI student. The average package of our college for CSE/IT students stands at around 15 LPA, and the overall average package stands at around 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Goldman Sachs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the one thing lacking in our college. It's really old and gets very little funding from the government, so many buildings (especially hostels) are not maintained and are not in good condition. On the other hand, classrooms are well maintained, and you can expect cleanliness all over the college.
Faculty: The college is popular for its research work, and you won't be disappointed once you enter here. The labs are well equipped with all the necessary equipment. The professors are also highly qualified and experienced. As for the first year, the subjects are very boring and basic, such as English and Chemistry, but the higher you go, the harder and more interesting they get.

Poor infrastructure but good in acedamics.
Placements: I am in civil engineering branch although I am in first year so I don't know much about the placements but i have talked to few seniors and they said that placements of core branches are not that good, like they are pretty average. Placements ratio is decent though, you can easily get placed if you are an average student.
Infrastructure: The buildings of civil and mechanical department are very old and haven't renovated till now. Civil and mechanical engineering are the most old branches of SGSITS college of Indore. The hostels are also not that good. The food is good though, but there isn't any wifi, cleaning, attached bathroom facilities.
Faculty: The only thing good in this college is it's academics. It's pretty strict on that. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful bit at the end of the day you have to study by yourself only just like every other college. As a fresher I haven't given any of the exams but they say it's not easy to pass just like that.
