A:

You need take the following actions to enroll in the BTech programme at Shri GS Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) Indore:

Take the JEE Main exam, which is the country's admission exam for programs in engineering and architecture. On the official National Testing Agency (NTA) website, you can register for this exam.

I'm satisfied with the placements provided in our college.
Placements: Around 95% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the average salary package is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. Major recruiters are Vedanta, DCM Shriram, Havells, Adani, and L&T. Around 50% of students get internships in our college. Top role offered is graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Our college has a library and Wi-Fi access throughout the campus. There are various labs in our department. Labs are good but old. Food served is average. Girls hostel is good but the administration is very rude. They don't allow students to celebrate Holi.
Faculty: Professors in our college are supportive and knowledgeable. All of them are well-skilled in their respective fields. The course curriculum is relevant. Since it is an autonomous college, the syllabus is not difficult.

The highest belongs to the Computer Science branch.
Placements: The packages offered here vary from 4LPA-25LPA. The highest belongs to the Computer Science branch. The campus life is beautiful and there's more to experience here if you are a part of any college club. Sports and extra curriculum are highly engaging for students.
Infrastructure: Most of the faculty are IIT pass outs, they are good to interact with in person. The quality of lecture delivery is not as great as required, students do need to study from outside, tuition or from YouTube. However, it won't be a problem if you are attending classes regularly.
Faculty: The passing marks here is 23/70. Papers do not come easy here. One has to study daily to get a good score otherwise one can rather study at night if his/her aim is only to pass the semester. One has to keep in mind of attendance too as people are more likely to get detained.
Other: The event related clubs engage with students' ideas and perform mesmerizing events in campus.

I think from the above points, its a nice college, I would sum it up and give a rating of 3.5/5.
Placements: In terms of placements, SGSITS is a decent college, neither good nor bad. If you don't really screw up your college grades, you'll definitely have an offer in hand at the end of the placement season and if you are better than, you'll probably have more than one. But if you go by the average salaries that are offered, it's bad. The majority of placed students (80%) join companies like Infosys, Accenture, and others in the same salary range (3-5 LPA). Mechanical department sees comparatively better opportunities than other departments. For computer science and IT, Microsoft is the only Dream company that can be mentioned here. Amazon, Google, Oracle, Adobe, Direct, Goldman Sachs, and similar ones.
Infrastructure: The college has both boys' and girls' hostels, but seats are limited and allotted based on your rank in the admission test. It's cheaper to stay in the hostel than staying out. The quality of students here is the same as that of the entire college - geeks, smart, dumbs, you'll find all. The infrastructure of the hostel is poor, really poor. Maintenance is worse. Mess food is as good as mess food can be, but there is an option of out-of-hostel mess and eating at some other place which usually will be equally bad. The atmosphere there is as typical as a hostel can be. Friendships, fun, booze, smoke, last-night studies, you'll experience all.
Faculty: Though it varies from department to department, overall it's better than all other colleges in the state. There are departments like mechanical and civil where you'll find very experienced and senior professors, and then there are departments like IT where faculty members are comparatively novice. Departments like computer engineering and electronics have an equal share of both. I feel lucky for I had a chance to study from the likes of Bansal sir and then feel agitated as the strength of mechanics and Thermodynamics were taught by not so good teachers.

Abundant opportunities in every aspect, average faculty members.
Placements: Above average placements in CS and IT branches (15 and 13 lacs respectively) with the highest placement offer of 60lacs from CS. Other than that the avg placement from mechanical branch was 8-9lacs per annum with the highest placement offer in core of 20 lacs from Baker Hughes. Most students from core branches prepare for government. Services exams or go for higher education leading to comparatively lower average package. The branch BME (bio-medical engineering. ). Also has had a lot of improvement in past few years, top students have been able to qualify for leading American universities for research and higher education.
Infrastructure: The course majorly focuses on practical having 2-3 labs or workshop classes daily, hectic schedule, lectures based on practical studies and applications, talking about the hostel its infrastructure is appreciable with 4 boy's hostel and 3 girls' hostel provided with LAN.
Faculty: Course curriculum is somewhat relevant but there is still a long way to go to catch up to current technology and industrial requirement and at the end of the day you'll have to work on yourself and develop the skills needed to land your dream package. The faculty members are qualified academics but only a handful are qualified to actually teach students. Exams frequency depends on the admission delay other than that from second year the exam are taken every couple of months.

Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science review.
Placements: The average salary is low, and most students around 80% get jobs at companies like Infosys and Accenture in the 3-5 LPA range. Mechanical engineering has better opportunities than other departments. For computer science and IT, Microsoft is the only dream company that recruits on campus. Companies like Amazon, Google, Oracle, Adobe, and Goldman Sachs do not recruit on campus.
Infrastructure: The college has hostels for both boys and girls, but seats are limited and assigned based on our rank in the admissions test. It's cheaper to stay in the hostel than to live off campus. The hostel infrastructure is poor, really poor, and maintenance is even worse. The mess food is as good as mess food can be, but we can opt out of the hostel mess and eat elsewhere, which is usually just as bad.
Faculty: The alumni support is poor, and the faculty members have a negative attitude towards internships. They don't give attendance concessions or make provisions to facilitate internships. In fact, they sometimes call the HRs of firms that visit the campus for internships and tell them that our students will join late and do only a one-month internship.
Other: Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It is the first choice of students who are unable to get into MANIT or IIT-INDORE. I have heard good things about the college, but I don't know anything about the faculty members. If you are from Madhya Pradesh and you tell a common man that you are studying at SGSITS, you will surely earn his respect. The college has a great alumni network because of its long history. Overall, I would say that SGSITS is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Here's a summary of the key points:

    * Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is average, with some old buildings and limited resources.
    * Hostel Facilities: The hostels are decent, but the food quality is not great, and maintenance is poor.
    * Facilities: The college has a big library with a computer lab, and Wi-Fi is available in some areas.
    * Teaching Quality: Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, but some may have varying levels of enthusiasm.
