Shyam Lal campus is average, and it lacks infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: The placement scenario in the college is average. No reputed company has visited the college, only some small insurance companies visited to offer placements with an average package of 1.5 lakhs to a maximum of 2 lakhs per annum. Hence, most of the students preferred central placements in Delhi University.

Awesome college. If you're the one who has no option in other colleges of DU then come here.

Placements: The placement cell was not so good. They offered night shifts which could not be possible for girls so it was not so useful for us. We had to find job after the college by ourselves and nobody wants to do it by themselves. So before joining this college or another just check about their placement history.

Not the worst but not very good.

Placements: There no placement for B.A. students but available for the Commerce students. When I was is first year then few of my senior from B.Com and some of Economics (Houners) got the job they were in final year that time And got around 25000 to 30000 salary pakege.

The review of Shyam Lal College(Evening).

Placements: The placement in my college is not that good for the previous batches, and I think that the reason behind that no good companies came to hire the students. Most of the companies came to our college in the previous sessions of placement to get a student for sales only, and some companies give a chance to grow as they only prefer economics Hons students. But it is in my year of getting placed and this year, the college, as well as students, gave their 100% to get good companies for the students. I...

Delhi Universities colleges are good. Undergraduate courses are good.

Placements: I have heard that in 2013, the placement cell was there and gave the package of 8 lacs yearly when I am fresher on my first day of college. My seniors tell me about that, but I have not heard any responses, and we want the internship. The teachers and senior won't provide any information regarding the internship.

Last year, the placements were not good, so I wish that this year the placements will be good.

Placements: As I talk about the placement, the placements of senior students are not very good because not every student gets placed. Only a few students got their placements, and the rest of the students is facing disappointment to get the job. Those students who got a job were offered good salary package approximately Rs 15,000 -20,000 per month. Those who got above 80percent marks were got the job, and they are offered a job in BPO sectors, handicrafts sectors, etc. those who got 60-70 percent marks they...

The college is improving in all aspect.

Placements: There were no such placements for the students pursuing BA. Although they have been working on that aspect lately, one might see positive results. They conduct counselling and seminars. Both internship and placements need to be improved.

The college is not good regarding the placements.

Placements: The placements are not good compared to the other Delhi university off-campus colleges. However, the percentage of the students placed are increasing by every year. The previous year, 45% of the students got placed. The students are placed in the companies like ICICI Prudential, Concentrix, American Express, Convergys, etc. The package varies between 1.8-3.0 lakhs per annum. The priority of the placements is given to the courses students like B.Com(hon), English(hon).

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: The placements in our college for BA (honors) English were pathetic as no company came for placement. The companies that come Are usually for B.Com students. However, in terms of internship, the college has a good record as it provided various opportunities for internship in Delhi NCR areas.

Shyam Lal Evening College is strictly average. Don't come until you are out of options.

Placements: It is not right to judge this college by placements as after pursuing economics honours, one does not look for a placement right away. Most of the students look for other opportunities like doing MA or MBA while others prepare for competitive examinations like UPSC, SSC, etc. I did come to know that a few of our seniors were placed, but their salary was meagre.

I have a mixed feeling for this college. Campus facilities and exposure was good. Faculty was also very good. Classes were conducted regularly. Notes and presentations were given by the teachers as well as by students. Tests were conducted on regular basis and 25% weightage is given to internals. College infrastructure was not up to the mark and even college crowd was not so great.

All about Shyam Lal College (Evening).

Placements: The placement of the college is good but not great if you compare it with North Campus or South Campus colleges. As it is part of Delhi University, students can go to any college of Delhi University for placement, and placement is generally dependent on student skills and knowledge.

It is an average college, but not bad that people think.

Placements: As I am a fresher here, I don't have more idea about the placements. I heard from seniors that there is very less scope of placements mostly for B.Com or B.Com (Hons). But compared to the morning Shyam Lal, it gives the same opportunities for students.

Overall, the college is average with good infrastructure but poor placements.

Placements: I have not seen any company visiting our college for placements during my tenure. However, in 2016, I heard that some companies like Mercer, Aon, etc., visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA for BA Hons economics stream. Overall, campus placement is average.
