Placements: The placements are not good compared to the other Delhi university off-campus colleges. However, the percentage of the students placed are increasing by every year. The previous year, 45% of the students got placed. The students are placed in the companies like ICICI Prudential, Concentrix, American Express, Convergys, etc. The package varies between 1.8-3.0 lakhs per annum. The priority of the placements is given to the courses students like B.Com(hon), English(hon).
Placements: The placements are not good as compared to other colleges and it is not up to the mark. The companies came for placements are not very known to the students as well. Everybody wants the placement from the college itself, and if college is not able to provide placements to the students, then it is not good for the college as well as for students. So, they should increase the percentage of the placements for the upcoming students for their future endeavour.
Placements: The placements are very few at Shyam Lal College (evening). It has the 2-3 companies only visiting the campus every year. If you are going to SLC (eve.) for placements, then you will be a fool. But you can go to SLC for getting a Delhi University degree which is beneficial. Only about 9 students out of 40 -50 students were placed from 2015 batch.
Placements: The college teachers organise a placement drive in which anyone can enrol, and a good number of companies come with a wide dimension of working. As we were in B.Com, we had many companies from insurance, sales, banking, H.R. sector, etc. I got many appointment letters like from companies like ICICI Insurance, Highline Automotive, Tata westside, Genpact, Kotak Mahindra Bank and I have selected Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Placements: The placements in our college for BA (honors) English were pathetic as no company came for placement. The companies that come Are usually for B.Com students. However, in terms of internship, the college has a good record as it provided various opportunities for internship in Delhi NCR areas.
Placements: There was a central placement cell initiative beginning at our session which was controlled and managed by Delhi University itself. Along with this, there were several placement/recruitment drives conducted by our college personally in the last year of our session. The percentage of students placed was pretty much favourable with good packages. I still remember one of my co-students who got selected by MEttl with a package of 2.5 lacs per annum. He was selected for the accounts and finance prof...
Placements: It is not right to judge this college by placements as after pursuing economics honours, one does not look for a placement right away. Most of the students look for other opportunities like doing MA or MBA while others prepare for competitive examinations like UPSC, SSC, etc. I did come to know that a few of our seniors were placed, but their salary was meagre.
Placements: From our course, approximately 40% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was approximately Rs. 25,000 per month, while the average salary offered ranges from Rs. 18,000-20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The top companies for our course were Reliance Jio, TCS, HDFC Life Insurance, Concentrix, etc. The top roles offered in our course were mainly related to management and accounting section. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3 ...
Shyam Lal College (Evening) is under Delhi University. It is one of the oldest colleges in DU. It offers arts and commerce courses including Bcom(Hons), Eco(Hons), Pol Science (Hons), Hindi(Hons), History(horns), English(Hons) and BA program. I joined the college in 2013 (Eco Hons). From my personal experience, there are some advantages and disadvantages Advantages: 1) Fees is very low to pursue any course. One can have their degree at very nominal fees (approx.21k) for three years. 2) One ca...
I have a mixed feeling for this college. Campus facilities and exposure was good. Faculty was also very good. Classes were conducted regularly. Notes and presentations were given by the teachers as well as by students. Tests were conducted on regular basis and 25% weightage is given to internals. College infrastructure was not up to the mark and even college crowd was not so great.
I have mixed reviews for this college which are good as well as bad. It has a very good faculty which is supportive and the teachers take regular and interactive class sessions. It is not up to the mark in infrastructure, but the colleges societies are performing well and they are very participative in nature. Although, the crowd is average, but the environment of college is very positive and students are enthusiastic.
My college may not be the best but it is also not the worst. I know my college does not has the best faculty or societies. But yes it do contains teachers who are very helpful from their heart. The college infrastructure has drastically improved within a year and I hope that the college achieves a remarkable position in the Delhi university college. The crowd is far better than the previous batches. It will be the SRCC OF east Delhi in a few more coming year.
Poor college below average crowd no placement worst campus facilities & faculty are ok so, I never suggest you for SLC (evening) especially because you can’t go out of Campus. But now I am chartered accountant therefore i am satisfied. Good luck for your career go for Campus College.
Placements: The placement of the college is good but not great if you compare it with North Campus or South Campus colleges. As it is part of Delhi University, students can go to any college of Delhi University for placement, and placement is generally dependent on student skills and knowledge.
Placements: My batch started in 2024. And in 2027 we will passout from this college if we are doing 3 years course. My course is Bachelor of arts, and if talking about placement in this specific course then the percentage is not much. And talking about percent of students placed in my course is much more.
Placements: My course is B.A. Programme. 50 - 70% of students get placed every year from my college. Mostly there are BPO's which provides internships. Mostly packages are average but there are some of the packages which are higher and more than good for a B.A. Programme student.
Placements: The average placement package at Shyam Lal College Evening is between 4 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies like American Express, HCL, ICICI Bank, HDB Financial, and many other renowned companies visit the college for student placements. Placements are based on skills, and last year, the highest package was 8.2 LPA. Internships are available, but there is a fee involved. Top roles are generally given to the students who are employed in the college.
Placements: Placement of the students of my course is 50% And the package of its depends on yourself but minimum package is 2 to 4 Lacs Many students has completed there internship Roles of company is good and if the students have many skill is good for him And always connected to the society .
Placements: SLCE has a placement % of approximately. 45-55%, indicating that almost half to slightly more than half of the students secure placements through the colleges campus recruitment drives & other opportunities. The placement states for SLCE are as follows: the highest Package: Around 6 LPA. The lowest Package: approximately. 1.1 LPA. Av. Package: 2-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for SLCE include well-known organizations like ICICI Prudential, Genpact, American Express, Kotak Bank, Paytm, Byju'...
Placements: Not enough but I think approximately 30% students are placed. Average income is about 3lpa. College doesn't provide any internship program but University of Delhi provides so about 50% students go for internship program from my course. And, since I am doing bachelor's in maths so job roles are financing etc.
