Best four years of my career and life.
Placements: Mostly, placement depends on students performance and skills. About 40%-50% of students are placed from the college, and rest apply off-campus. Mass hiring is from TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant companies. Placements are based on the CGPA studnets get. Studentsa have to study from the start to earn a good grade.
Infrastructure: It is among the biggest campuses in Pune city. Good facilities are available like library, gym, playing ground, swimming pool, huge grounds, as well as a very huge parking space. Hostels are also good. They offer only lunch and dinner in their meal structure.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and highly qualified. And most importantly, they are helpful. One teacher guardian is allotted to every student who takes care of the student's curriculum. Assignment submission and weekly a reports are given to parents. They are always ready to help us as soon as possible.
Other: Best thing about our college is campus and events. Every year, there is an event called Carnival, which is the biggest event in Pune city. Many actors are invited to the college events as well.

Are you looking for the best college in Pune? Come here.
Placements: In my course, 80%-90% of students are placed. The highest salary package is 14 LPA, the average salary package is 4 LPA-5 LPA. And the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. TCS, Mahindra, and Infosys are the top companies that come for placements in the CS and IT branches.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are large and clean. There are digital projectors for the presentation of PPTs. The college also has a library, and all the reference books are available. The quality of the hostel is good, with very comfortable rooms. In each room, there are three students. Each student has one table, one chair, and one cupboard. The mess food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, and every teacher has at least five years of experience in teaching. There is only one semester exam in each semester, and 2-3 exams are conducted by the college. It is not very difficult to crack the exams. To pass, students have to score 40%.
Other: I chose this course because there is a future in this field and also good income potential. There are big events every 2-3 months. The campus is very big, with around 4,000-5,000 students studying in the college, which is very near to the city. We also have the opportunity to take part in various extracurricular activities.

The dark truth about Sinhgad College of Engineering.
Placements: The problem with placements is that it has only a few companies for students. Most of the seniors have told me that we should try off-campus. Placements for chemical engineering are good. Only a few companies visit our college and provide product-based jobs. We can get jobs on petroleum-like things.
Infrastructure: The hostel is average. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. Buildings are easy to understand. There are xerox and food products inside the campus. We don't have to travel outside of college. Our college has stationery so students can buy pens and anything else.
Faculty: The exam faculty members are rude sometimes. Some professors are not friendly. Sometimes asking questions can upset them, and they don't provide important signs for hall tickets or submissions. Completing the submission is the hardest task at Sinhgad College of Engineering.
Other: The campus is good. Due to an increase in gang activity and fights, it can sometimes feel dangerous.

Dissatisfied about placement .
Placements: The placement for our batch was not good enough, with only about 12-16% of students getting placed. The highest package was around 5 LPA, offered by Reliance, and the lowest was 2.16 LPA. The college did not provide any internships to students. Placement was especially disappointing in our batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best when compared with other institutes. The faculty is good and supportive, helping in the personal growth of individual students and providing excellent guidance. The food quality in the hostel is average, but it is cheaper compared to the outside campus area.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and some are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams are difficult, with a pass-fail ratio of 60-40. The curriculum is relevant and helpful for industry needs. Personally, I like the faculty members.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the mechanical stream, which is a core stream. The course provides more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge.

One of the best campus life experiences you will enjoy in the next 4 years of engineering.
Placements: Mostly, the placement depends on your performance and skills. About 30-40% of the students are placed from this college. The highest package I saw in recent years was around 23 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. Companies like Infosys, PTC, TCS, and Swiggy offer great packages.
Infrastructure: It is among the biggest campuses in Pune city. Good facilities like a central library, laboratories, playing grounds, huge parking, and the most adorable Cultural Centre (CC). Looking towards the hostel, it has free Wi-Fi, 2-3 times cleaning of rooms per week, along with the mess (Lunch and Dinner).
Faculty: Very helpful faculty. One teacher guardian is allocated to each and every student. They have a good knowledge of their subject and also about engineering life. Before the final exams, there is a practical examination. The passing criteria are 40%. The exam level is not too difficult, so you can easily score the passing marks.
Other: The best thing in this college is the campus and the events. Every year, there is an event called Carnival, which is very popular. There are many different clubs for extracurricular activities, such as the Google Club, Racing Club, Rocketry Club, Art & Design Club, etc. Scholarships are also provided for all the students.

Good campus, but the teaching is poor.
Placements: 60% of students are in our course this year. Top companies are Accenture and many more. The top roles are management and many more. The lowest package is 3.5 lpa, and the average is 4.5 to 6.5 lpa. We have to find our own internships; colleges don't help us find internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work properly in college. Hostel Wi-Fi works sometimes. Some labs are good but teachers don't have knowledge about the lab. The library is good. Hostel facilities are good; don't eat mess food; the canteen is good; medical facilities are not good; sports are average.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, are qualified and have knowledge, but they don't know how to deliver. Teaching quality is poor; teachers want only attendance, even if they don't know how to teach. The curriculum is irrelevant but it is the fault of the university, not the college.
Other: Nothing is good about this course. Everything should be improved. Extracurriculars are good.
