Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

* Faculty: The faculty members are generally well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, a few students expressed disappointment with the teaching quality and the lack of industry exposure.

If you want to just complete your course and want to enjoy a good campus then go for it.
Placements: I think only 30 - 40 percent students were placed in the passing year and the highest package was 3.1 lakhs and most of them were started from 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Most of my batchmates were unemployed and only few hardly 4-5 choose internship where our seniors were working.
Infrastructure: Buildings, classrooms are good. Library was good but the hostel building was like jail. Very limited facilities and there are only two general stores on campus if those are closed there is nothing in the campus where you can buy something. Canteen building is also good but the contractor was the worst.
Faculty: Teachers were not as per the expectations and I don't think the course curriculum made us industry ready. We have to study a lot of things after our course that should have covered during our engineering. They did not make us technically strong.
Other: College location is pretty good looks like a picnic spot, a very big playground, indoor stadium was an attraction. If you want to just complete your graduation then you can choose this college and we were very disappointed about the event, fest, scholarship and extracurricular activities.

It is an awesome college and is located in a natural scenario.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Various companies visit our campus for placements. In our batch, there are 120 students, and out of which, many students got good job opportunities. Currently, they are working in a good position as well as in good companies. Students get placed in companies like Cipla, Mylan, Varroc Engineering Ltd, Technoforce, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is spread over 73 acres and is surrounded by hills. There is a Wi-Fi facility throughout the college. Our college is located in Nashik-Pune, Mumbai-Shirdi highway and is about 12 km away from Nashik central railway station. As it is away from the city, the atmosphere is free from pollution. There are hostel facilities for both girls and boys. There will be good food and mess arrangements.
Faculty: There are well-qualified staff members in our college. As I am from the computer department, staff members in our department are very helpful and always try to provide practical knowledge. Their teaching quality is good. They use proper presentation and demos. Various training programs are arranged for personality development, stress management, etc.
Other: I always interested in coding, so I chose the computer engineering branch.

The faculty is good, there are good placements in 2021, nice infrastructure and advanced facilities.
Placements: According to my college records, more than 50% were placed in 2023. The highest package offered was 7 LPA; the average package was 4.5 LPA; and the lowest was 3.2 LPA. The top retailers are Infosys, TCS, WNS, and L&T. Around 47 students did internships at the college, which were provided by Shivandu Infotech. The roles offered are data analysts.
Infrastructure: Facilities were mostly good but needed more development as per the area our institute has; otherwise, classrooms are very nice with projectors, computer systems and for safety, fire extinguishers on the ceiling. The facilities provided in the hostel were decent, but having proper security still needs more development. The mess is not so good, the canteen is below average, and the medical facilities are great. As there is a hospital on our campus, there is a lot of support for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, have proper communication skills that are helpful to students, and have great knowledge and expertise. Yes, the course is well designed to face real-world challenges. Semester exams are difficult as there is strict environment during exams and discipline is maintained. The passing percentage is 69 percent .
Other: I've developed an interest in computer engineering since my childhood The best thing about this course is that every day you get to learn new things and adapt to changing technologies. There should be more practical knowledge than theory to introduce students about new technology and constant visits to different companies. The annual festival is on the horizons; the campus crowd is great and very scenic; the campus surroundings are nice but still needs development, like good sitting area and others. Various scholarships are available considering the benefits according to your caste, fun games, and seminars.

SVIT is a very good college for education.
Placements: The placements in our college are good. Mid-scale and small-scale companies visit the campus but not on a regular basis. Mostly, pool campus placement drives are organised in SVIT. Some MNCs like TCS and Persistent also visit SVIT to offer placements. The placement officer is very kind and helpful to students. Overall, the placements are good.
Infrastructure: The academic buildings are good. The campus environment is mesmerising. All the academic buildings have good connectivity. Wi-Fi facility is good, but its speed is moderate. The central library is well-maintained, and also each department has a library for students. The medical and sports facilities are good. The college students take part in various competitions like sports, project presentation, paperwork etc.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are cooperative and good, but some faculty are not up to the mark. All the faculty members from all departments are very cooperative, kind, and very helpful for students. The quality of their teaching is good. The faculty are highly qualified. Some of them also have rich industry experience.
Other: Various events are organised in SVIT. The college organises inter-department competitions, sports competitions and Euphoria. The college provides good scholarships for needy. BC and OBC category students get special scholarships. Students take part in extracurricular activities like Rangoli competition, painting, stamp collections, state-wise and national sports events.

SVIT is college which provides you quality teaching in affordable price.
Placements: In our batch about 10 students got placed via campus interview with the highest salary of about 4 LPA and average 2.8 LPA. Also about 20 percent students got internship (combine of all the branches). Overall not that much good placement records but yes they must provide at least 1 or 2 campus every year for current BE batch. Also tpo sir are very supportive and calm in nature.
Infrastructure: That's the main thing I want to describe here. Infrastructure is very cool and surrounding atmosphere also. Classrooms are big in size also fully furnished labs present. Though college is in rural area but overall infrastructure is superb. Wi-Fi facility also available with good speed. Canteen food is average in quality. Hostel rooms are also good but in some rooms there is lack of beds and cupboards.
Faculty: Most important aspect of any college is faculty. And I must tell you that faculty of SVIT is very helpful and highly qualified. Perfect mixture of intelligence and politeness. Respective faculty have good knowledge of subject which they teaches to students. Teaching quality is good. Also there are enough faculty present so that about 40 students are under one faculty. Overall teaching is very good, neat and in well manner.
Other: In SVIT there are many events organised by different departments like Delve by CSE, Electra By Electrical, Mechazzmo by Mech etc. For all events massive campus crowd is coming from all over india. Sports meet also held which is very helpful to display our skills in front of crowd and stay fit.
