In SMS College, the highest percentage of placement offers at their best structure.

Placements: In SMS College, the placement percentage is more than 80%. The highest package of placement this year is now around 12 LPA. The lowest package is 4 to 5 LPA, and placement is still ongoing. TCS, BigBasket, and more are the companies recruiting. More than 80% of students get placed in roles such as Manager, Area Manager, and Head HR.

Infrastructure: If talking about facilities and infrastructure, be honest, it’s not that good, but the classroom has a fully air-conditioned ceiling, the library has space? Hostel facilities are not that good. The quality of food is not that hygienic, but there is a sports fest organised by the college.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful and cooperative. They are highly educated and knowledgeable. Overall, the teaching quality is good and beneficial. Yes, in the management course, extra co-curricular activities or industrial visits are important. If you study hard and go through all the materials provided by the college, it is more than enough.

Other: Because I have done my graduation in the BBA programme, this course attracted me. I'm quite interested in doing an MBA programme because I want to be a part of an MNC. The MBA course provides you with knowledge about business finance and also provides basic knowledge about how to start your own business. I want to improve in this course to be more creative. There is a big event which is organised by the college, named Adharshila. It is a 2-day programme. There are various sponsorships offered. There are extra co-curricular activities such as EEP.

Placements: Placement opportunities for students are very low. The highest package offered by any companies for BBA students is 300,000-400,000. No internship opportunities are provided by the college. You can do internships on your own. They provide information about companies where to give interviews for placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good on campus. Classrooms are good. Projectors are provided for classroom studies. There are many books available in the library. The college hostel is also good, but the mess food taste is not good. The college canteen is good, and the food quality is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. The college arranges a number of workshops for students and also provides certificates for each workshop. They arrange many useful workshops that help in learning new skills, which are useful in the future.

Admission in sms is worthy or not?

Placements: The college is good for placement if are an MBA student but for other courses there are no placements offered. Some placements are in BBA also but only in sales. I have done BCA from SMS and in our class, no student got any kind of placement total number of students was 180.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of sms was good the environment was nice and you can study while sitting in the garden as well there is a canteen which is cost-effective and which food is good. Hostels are provided but it is some 5 km away from campus and a bus is required for hostel students.

Faculty: Teaching in sms is brilliant and professors are well qualified and many of them are Ph.D. holders. Colleges provide notes and all material for studies courses are designed in a good way sms is an autonomous college and has its own syllabus and organizes the exam on its own.

Placements: About 20% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, and Tata. From the BCA course, about 10% of students secure internships in companies like Accenture and Tata.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, with all necessary facilities provided. The labs are well-equipped, classrooms are comfortable, and the library has a vast collection of books. Food is served four times a day, and while the quality is good, it’s not exceptional. Every year, a sports day is conducted for three days, and activity days are held every month.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, providing excellent teaching. The curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready, but students must put in the effort to succeed. The exams are not very difficult, and if you have studied, you can easily score good marks.

Other: BCA is an excellent course to enter the computer science field, even with beginner-level knowledge. It offers numerous projects that enhance skills. Many events and fests are organized every year, and scholarships are available for all students. If you take admission here, you will enjoy your time.

Don't get into this college .

Placements: If you want placement after graduation, then this college is definitely not for you, because they don't provide any kind of placement. Even if by chance out of the blue any company comes, they just ghost students and leave. You’ll never know the results because the company ran away.

Infrastructure: I was a day scholar, but what I've heard from my friends is that the girls’ hostel is very bad. About infrastructure, oh my god, that is the worst. I still remember my first year. In that extreme heat weather, we were asked to sit on the top floor, and there were heat waves at that time. No ac. Management doesn't give a shit about students.

Faculty: Faculty is the worst. Almost none of them have any kind of knowledge about what they are teaching. They only confuse people. I still remember how APOORVA mam used to teach us something in a class that was completely different in another one on the same topic. About exams, since the college became autonomous, everything is in their own hands.

However, postgraduate students have the advantage of companies and recruiters actively seeking them out. The highest package offered last year was around 7Lpa, with a focus on roles primarily in sales and marketing. Notable recruiters include Amul, Mother Dairy, and others.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the university is satisfactory for undergraduate students, while it is commendable for postgraduate students. The campus provides Wi-Fi connectivity, along with computer labs for the students' convenience. However, the hostel facility falls short of expectations, and the quality of meals provided is subpar. The canteen, on the other hand, is decent. Fortunately, the medical facility on campus is of good quality.

Faculty: The teachers at SMS Varanasi are supportive, skilled, and well-informed. The curriculum is up-to-date and applicable.
