SNS college from the eyes of a passed out.

Placements: The placements are average for a mechatronics graduate, but there will be a few IT companies on offer. If you are taking electronics related course, you will get better opportunities. The mechanical and mechatronics have fewer opportunities in comparison to the electronics based courses.

The experience of SNSCT mechanical boys.

Placements: The first company which came for placement is Tech Mahindra. I like their approach for all departments, but when coming to aptitude test, in the beginning, they asked only about the programme and coding, how will it become aptitude test. Second the reliance marketing company came for the marketing job, and minimum qualifications are at least 3 arrears, whole departments were shocked. Then the second one also flopped out, then after 2 years, they asked us to attend placement in 2018 an MNC compan...

The place where you gain your momentum.

Placements: The placements aren't much here. Only IT companies come to our college for placement. We have a separate department called career development programme where there are separate faculty members who give us training on various important topics in aptitude. Since we have separate faculty members for placement, we can have good knowledge in those areas, but it is only based on the hard work that we get placed either on campus or off-campus.

My personal preference to my college.

Placements: There is a good placement opportunity in our college for IT students, but rarely for the other departments. The coachings are given for every department, and we have a special department in our college for the placement. We have the various club activities conducted on every third Saturday which will tell us what to choose for our future and give new ideas for our aim.

The college has the good infrastructure and the faculty members.

Placements: Almost all the students got placed during the on-campus placement recruitments, but most of them were a BPO. Hardly 20% of the students got placed in the development. There were no much core companies. Almost, all the department students were to attend the software companies just to show there were a 100% placements. The placement training was given to all the students, but it is the below average. Just to ensure that they get placed first.

A very good college with average infrastructure.

Placements: Good placement drives including Tech Mahindra, etc. for circuit branches. Non-circuit branches do not get any core jobs. For circuit branches, very good companies are recruiting. The placement cell is working hard to bring in more companies for the placement and hoping for good.

Placements: The placements were pretty good for computer & electronics based departments. The highest salary offered was from a product based company named Huawei Technologies (off- campus) with 8.2 LPA. Then comes Informatica, Zoho Corp, IVTL Infoview and HP with the salary range starting from 4.2 LPA. We also attended some service based companies like Infosys, TCS, CTS, USL Global and Tech Mahindra where most of the students got placed. Overall good. Regarding placements, it is average.

Placements: Overall, the placements are 65% till now. No offer from the core for the mechanical batch. As like other colleges, only IT and BPOs came. But placement officers are trying hard to place all eligible students even at low pay. Internships are offered but not from reputed companies.

Average placements, good infra and faculty.

Placements: As a developing college, the placements are comparatively better when compared to the previous years. The students are being trained for placements and many new companies are coming in to recruit students. To my knowledge, we had around 1600 students who got placed in different companies. The highest salary was around 5-6 lakhs per annum. A few students also got internship from college.

Placements: Companies like Tech Mahindra, UST global and Infoview have come for our batch and many other companies will come for all the students. You can also attend other off campus drives outside of the college campus. Our previous batch had some other company drives like Polaris, etc.

Entrepreneurial activities are missing. MOUs with industries would further enable students to get acquainted with practical knowledge. Promotion of compulsory internship as a part of semester. Promoting more practical training on all subjects related theory oriented papers. Active online alumni association and yearly meetings for enlightening the students.

SNS is known for its sincerity nobility and service. The education in SNS is really great when compared with other colleges. The staff members in this college are really dedicated to the growth of the students. The infrastructure, library, placement, training and industrial visits are really worth in this college. But in case of placement for mechanical engineering graduate, it’s not good in the field of core. Overall, the college is worth for education.

Dissatisfied because of poor education , campus and infrastructure is good

Placements: To be honest , annual placement rate for aerospace student is low . Because we only get companies related to IT fields . The highest package we got was around 12L per annum , Other than our core. There is no recruiters for aerospace Engineering, but u get chance to place on IT companies . Most of the companies provide the salary package of 6L per annum. I would not recommend this college for you if you really want to place on your core company .
