This college is good, but placements opportunities are not good for economics students.

Placements: Not many companies visit our campus for placements in economics honors. Companies usually offer roles more relevant for B.Com students. The average salary package ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. No companies visit our campus specifically for internships. I would recommend finding internships by themselves.

I am somewhat Dissatisfied with the high fee charged by the college.

Placements: About 15-20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 4-4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like KPMG, Genpact, Bain & Company, and certain small companies visit our campus for placements. Internships are more of a private subject here rather than being a centralised thing in the college. Students do various internships. Top roles, like auditing, J...

It is the best college for course and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. They always achieve the highest new placement criteria, which was the best thing about the college. Even the average placements were good. The college was responsible for holding and calling companies. There was a good relationship between companies and college. They advise and suggest most internship platforms also for the non-college students.

Growing college of DU, SGGSCC.

Placements: The main recruiters in our college was the big 4 auditing firms which used to hire students from the whole batch. Around 70 to 80% of the batch used to apply for the placements out of which 30% were able to get placed. But the placement scenario is now improving and new companies are also recruiting from the college.

I am satisfied with the college but there are things that the college needs to work upon.

Placements: The big three come for recruitment in the college and the acceptance rate is quite high. Package go up to 5-6 Lacs per annum. Internship opportunities are available in almost every course. The college provides a lot of opportunities to the students.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce has all the facilities for amazing college life.

Placements: The placement cell puts in a lot of efforts to bring top-notch companies to campus. The percentage of students placed are also high. There are a variety of job profiles offered. However, there are limited opportunities for CA students as few companies turn up for Articleship.

Come have a exposure for excellence.

Placements: Placement cell of the college is working very hard to make dreams of aspiring students get through very well. Many of my seniors this year are already placed in companies like Genpact, HCL, etc. Even the students in the college of final year got recruited before their peer groups in other colleges that's where we prepare students for beating competition too.

The college is really good, and I had a great experience.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Placement wing works very hard to invite good companies for placements. Many workshops are conducted in order to make the students understand about the placement process and how to crack the interview rounds. It helps students very much and gives them confidence.

Placements: Our college offers placement opportunities generally for audit roles in big and reputed companies. Placements in our college are satisfactory. A few students do not opt for placements as they want to pursue higher studies or a professional course.

It is a good option after North Campus.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Various companies visited the campus. One has a good chance of getting placed due to numerous companies visiting the campus with multiple openings. Though, don't get your hopes high for packages. You can expect a package of around 3 LPA. Companies include regular recruiters like E&Y, Genpact and also startups. It is the same scenario for internships as well. The college even hosts an internship fair of its own to help students get internships.

GGS provided a humble abode of education with warm faculty members.

Placements: Students of our batch are still waiting for the placement opportunity as we are the first batch. Placements season is not yet started, so I cannot comment on it. The placement cell of our college is working hard, so I hope they offer some good opportunities for the students of our college.
