B.Tech. in Tele-Communication and Engineering - Batch of 2020

Absolutely satisfied with the syllabus and teaching methods of our institution
Placements: The placements of our seniors' batch were at 60 percent and those who scored above 70 percent all got placed. A minimum of 20 companies come for campus selection. The maximum salary package was 7 lakhs per annum and the average salary package was 3 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college has a hospital, a library, a gym, parks, a post office, a co-operative society, a barber shop and a canteen. Tequip will provide most of the laboratory instruments. Tequip means it was the world bank under which only a few of the colleges get selected to get the opportunity to access all the facilities like infrastructure, laboratory instruments and all.
Faculty: Student-friendly faculty members. They give all chances to ask doubt and there is a Gurukul system. It is easy to give feedback about faculty members and our college organizes industry visits yearly. Once, the student-faculty ratio is up to 100 percent because we have a Gurukul system. In this system, we can directly give feedback about our faculty members.

B.Tech. in Tele-Communication and Engineering - Batch of 2013

Satisfied with infrastructure & faculty-student relationship, but not with the placement.
Placements: The placement for 2013 batch is not up to the mark, but the placement for senior batches of 2012 and 2011 is good because the college for those batches was autonomous. 10% of students were able to get a job. The highest salary they offered was Rs. 4 lakhs pa. TCS is the one company that visited. No internship was offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. You will get free Wi-Fi wherever you go within the campus. The labs are clean and the whole of the equipment is working properly. Medical benefits are available free of cost. Sports facility is okay but the management is not interested in sports. The classrooms are good. The professors in SSIT are the best. The quality of food is okay. The boys' hostel is bad compared to the girls' hostel. The library is good. The campus has AC.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and experienced, both in the industry and in teaching. They were most helpful in solving our queries at any time during the college hours. Their teaching style is different and makes you concentrate more on the topics. They did not use textbooks while giving lectures.
