The college has good placements.
Placements: The placement is good, with over 800 offers, and with a pack of 45 LPAs, almost all students of IT placed. The top recruiting companies are Cisco, Oracle, Amazon, Redbus, Sandvine, etc. The core is also well-placed in mass recruiting in college companies like TCS Wipro, etc. They come to college and mass recruit in the 100s and 200s.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the hostel is mid-range, the food quality is not good, and only 1 Wi-Fi is available for 8 to 1-bedroom rooms. Labs and classrooms are good. The whole college has Wi-Fi-enabled labs that are good with air conditioning systems. In some labs, computers are old, and in others, they are very new, but all did the job.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is good and they are supportive throughout the year, but the cache is that they teach an old syllabus and are still stuck in the C language only. The course is not that since they teach an old syllabus, they didn't adopt the new era, which is AIML.
Other: I took this course because the computer is a booming thing nowadays, and the best thing about this course is learning new languages. The event in college is good; the annual event is called Halcyon, which is great and has a DJ night, but according to my knowledge, it is not available.

Good placement and campus .
Placements: In the Computer Science and Engineering branch passing percentage is more than 90%. The highest package offered in college is 41.60 LPA and the average package for Computer Science and Engineering is 8.0 LPA. The top companies visiting our college are Ola, Oracle, Zscalar and many more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus and classrooms are good. In a single classroom, there are around 60 -70 students. The canteen is near the computer science building and the food quality is average. If you come from a sports background then you have a good opportunity. It's recommended college.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, they are friendly with the students and clears all the doubts of the students. Some teachers don't know the subject but they act rude in front of students. 85% attendance is required to attend the exams and it's hard to maintain.
Other: I chose this course at the joining time. It is a very demanding and popular course. The best part about this course it is all about coding. If you are interested in coding, you can choose it.

Satisfied with the lavish green campus.
Placements: Placements process are ongoing. They have started from this month and our college’s placements department is trying its best to get as many companies as it can. The highest package offered for our seniors was 31 lacs and the average package was 7 lacs. For our seniors, 90% of the students from IT batch were placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. We have a lavish green campus. It is captivating to see greenery around you. You don't get much to witness this in the college campus. Hostel is kind of okay. We need to adjust a lot, especially strive hard to get adjusted to the food but you can opt for rental rooms where you can hire a cook as well.
Faculty: Teachers include the senior-most faculty members and majority of them are doctorate holders. Some of the course curriculum is relevant while the other is totally irrelevant. The semester exams are moderately difficult and one can pass with ease. Our college’s attendance requirement is 85% and they are very strict regarding the same. The other engineering colleges have 75% attendance requirement.
Other: I got into this college through KCET. I joined this college as I wanted to stay away from the busy traffic. For my ranking, this was the best college I could get in. We have our fest conducted for two days where famous bollywood celebs are invited and DJ nights are organised and there are various activities conducted by the student volunteer groups. You get to enjoy a lot.

Absolutely yes to those who want to get good job and a perfect college life!
Placements: The campus placements are genuinely good. The training and placement department organises many competitions. Faculty members guide you through the placement path. Management offers many type of activities related to placements. Apart from that coding related clubs are of good help.
Infrastructure: Hostel in SIT is decent I would say it is quite good for South indians But Indians need time get themselves adjusted. Food is quite good. Labs have decent number of computers and faculty members are very skilled and they offer good help and guidance. Wi-Fi connectivity is also available.
Faculty: The sem end exams are quite tough but with decent level of study also u can pass them. Courses are according to vtu curriculum and the faculty members help you a lot when compared to other colleges. And the written notes are also available. People simply tell anything about the college.
Other: Events fest and the rest is definitely upto the mark and management provides generous amount of budget to that.

Satisfactory college and if you want to join for placement you can consider it else find another.
Placements: The placements for CSE, ise are quiet decent and almost everyone gets placed at a good package. Good companies visit campus and take students. Few companies coming in campus are twillio, amazon, cisco, jp morgan and many more. Internships are also offered to many students from the past bathes and the recent too.
Infrastructure: The hostel have good wi-fi connection and are mostly neat and clean. Yes a few times a lot of monkey come in the hostel. The mess food is also average and you have to mostly eat outside in weekends. Hot water is also available. The course is also good.
Faculty: Curriculum is quiet on a hectic side as 85% attendance is mandatory to appear for semester end examinations. The faculty's are quiet helpful if you interact with them. Exams are taken in regular interval and all are mandatory. The exams are easy and questions are easy to determine.
Other: Many fest are conducted throughout the year and all are average and not that enjoyable. Campus Crowd is normal and not enjoyable.

SIT, Tumkur accepts applications only on the basis of COMEDK and KCEAT, but not on JEE Mains. Kindly crack one of this exams to get into SIT, Tumkur.
