Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

It is a good college with average faculty.
Placements: This college provides good placements for students. I'll never recommend this college for placements. Only 5-10% of students get placed in this college every year. Software engineer, mechanical engineer, etc., are the top roles offered. Tata, TCS, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The campus and hostel are excellent. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the classrooms are in the best condition. The quality of food available in the hostel is average. The library of this college is very well-maintained by the librarian. The chemistry lab is good.
Faculty: The faculty are average. I'll rate them 5 out of 10. The teachers are well qualified and experienced but not dedicated. Semester exams are conducted strictly. Regular lectures are conducted by the faculty members.

It's a good college if you want to get a degree without knowledge and with lots of fun with friends.
Placements: There were no placements during my tenure at the college. Only 2 students got placed during my tenure, and even they got placed in some IT companies. For mechanical engineering, many companies visit here, but in our college, the placement officer is not very active in inviting companies at least once. From our course, students get high salary packages, but from our college, none of the students got such high salary packages. After passing out from college, students will get a job with a salary of only Rs. 12,000 per month in Pune, which is not worth learning and a very bad thing. You do not get placed from our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, there was no Wi-Fi or free internet during my tenure. However, labs were good, but there were no teachers for teaching, so I think there was no use in having good labs. The library was good, but sometimes, lights and fans don't work in the room. There is only one staff member to keeps all records of books. Classrooms were the only one most beautiful thing I like in our college. The playground was also beautiful to sit with friends and was a very nice place for all other activities. Hostels were not much good, and in the canteen, you will get only samosa and not more than that. The food served in the mess can be eatable. Sports and games are good.
Faculty: During my tenure, teachers were helpful and very experienced. But after the 2017 batch, all these teachers resigned from our college due to low salaries. However, their teaching was very beautiful, and I like the teachers most. I understood all subjects very quickly. But for some subjects, there are newly joined teachers who are not much knowledgeable. So, I found it difficult while understanding.
Other: I always like to learn about machines and wanted to become a mechanical engineer, so I chose this course. You will always learn something new every day in the industry, and you will get to interact with people who like machines. Our college needs to be improved a lot, and it needs to hire many better staff members. Otherwise, everything is very good, and there is no problem with getting admission and getting a degree from here. You can get a degree, but you should have to find a job on your own.

Very happy with the faculty, good placements in 2017, well-reserved infrastructure of the college.
Placements: Our college started in 1983, and it is a very reputed college. The placement is about 60 percent in college. The highest package was 6 LPA. Very famous companies took interviews in our college and selected students who can help their company in the future for growth. The highest placement was from the computer engineering department.
Infrastructure: I am from the mechanical department, and our college has a separate building for each department. Our department has the most number of labs in our college, like fluid mechanics lab, CAD lab, mechanics, etc. The labs are well maintained. Hostel facilities are also very nice and very affordable. The library of our college is very vast and has plenty of books.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are highly educated and well-experienced. They teach with their full effort and focus on practical knowledge instead of only learning the books. They create interest in the course. The teaching helps the students to enter the industry. Exams are knowledge and concept-based, so we have to study well for the examination. The passing percentage is 24%.
Other: There are many courses in our college, like computer engineering, mechanical, civil, E&TC, electronics, and computer, which are the most demanding courses in the industry. I chose this course because I have an interest in machines. The best thing about the course is that the course is very demanding. I don't think there is a need to improve anything because everything is going alright in the mechanical department. Events are celebrated in a very good manner. The students of the college are also very friendly. The campus of the college is very huge with a big playground. The scholarship is 50,000 in the college. The tutors motivate us to take part in extracurricular activities.

The faculty are good, but the placements are very bad.
Placements: In 2017, only 3 students got placed. Only 1 company came to the campus. For mechanical students, the highest package offered was 1.44 LPA. The placement cell is not good. No one got an internship. No top companies come for this course. The college doesn't even try to provide placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, library, etc., are available. The college provides good chances for sportspersons, and the college is especially focused on the chess competition. The canteen is not so good. Wi-Fi is good, but they don't give us its password and all. There is no big playground to play cricket.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. Senior staff are available for the mechanical branch. They have good knowledge about the subjects. They relate theory to practical things. They try to provide practical knowledge also.
Other: I chose mechanical because it is a core and good branch.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the campus placements. Think twice before joining this college.
Placements: There were no placements for my batch. Not a single company visited our college. Other colleges are providing placements in good companies. Our college staff don't arrange interviews. Only one IT company came for interviews. Other than that, not a single mechanical core company came here.
Infrastructure: The canteen is like chain tapari. The hostel is huge, but no hygiene is maintained. The environment is good because you will get everything outside the college. No Wi-Fi is available. The labs are good, but there are no good teachers to teach you. A library is available.
Faculty: During my tenure, 3 teachers were very good. But they left college because they are not given the value they deserve. They joined other colleges. Other teachers are good, but they all are new. They don't have any industry knowledge, but mechanical engineering demands industry knowledge. Some teachers are good, but they teach in the coaching classes. You have to pay money outside to learn something from them.
Other: No one got placed from our batch. They all got placed outside the college on their own. Not a single teacher cares about your placements, they only care about completing the syllabus. Events are good, and many boys participate in the events.
