Very disappointed with this college and advise you not to take admission here.
Placements: Only 50% of the total students have been placed every year. The highest placement of this college is 15 LPA and the lowest package is going to 3 LPA, so the average package of this college is 4 - 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Infosys, TCS etc. A total of 20 to 40% of the students got internships from TCS and other companies. The top role offered in my course is IT engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good. The classrooms are okay but not as good as others. All facilities are available here like Wi-Fi, library, gym, in campus hostel, mess canteen etc. But not sufficient seat in boys hostel. From every branch only 4 to 5 boys got hostel. A medical is present on our campus.
Faculty: The teachers were so helpful, friendly, well-qualified and knowledgeable. However, the course curriculum is not as relevant as industry-ready. The semester exam is not so tough 2 exams are taken in 1 semester and every time 3000 exam fee will be charged.

Our college provides good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements provided on campus are average. Students with core knowledge of tech branches get good salary packages. The highest salary package offered for the previous batch was 50 LPA, the minimum salary package was 3 LPA, and the average salary package was 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Around 85% to 90% of students get placed in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is good. Our campus is enabled with Wi-Fi but its speed is not good but the hostel Wi-Fi is good. There are two boys' hostels and a girls' hostel on campus. One boy's hostel is private and the government boys' hostel is provided based on the merit list. Classrooms are good. Our college has a library.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not helpful but knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Semester exams are not much tough to pass. The minimum pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I like tech fields. Students get much time for extracurricular activities.

UIET hoshiarpur college review
Placements: Total 75% students were placed every year. The highest package was going to 12 lakh per annum and lowest is 4 lakh per annum. The average package was 6 LPA .The top recruiting companies are Zomato, TCS, Cisco etc. Many students got internship form this college. The top role offer in this course is engineering.
Infrastructure: The classroom of our college is good and wifi is also available everywhere but the campus is small and beautiful. All labs are available here. The quality of hostel is not so good. There are 100 seats in boys hostel and 200 seats in girls hostel and the mess food is below average as compared to other collages and there medical facilities available.
Faculty: Teacher is very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is decent as well as their behaviour towards students is also good This course curriculum is not relevant for industry. The semester exams are not much difficult as compared to other government colleges. The pass percentage is about 30%.
Other: I was allotted this course in JAC Chandigarh counselling, that is why I choose it. This course is not industry relevant. Many improvement is needed in this course. Every event and fest is celebrated here. Campus is not so crowded here.

College is fine but not good because of the management rules.
Placements: Percent of students were placed in course CS and IT were 90% for ECE 50% and for mechanical were 40%. The highest package was 22 lac in paytm, The average package was 7 lac and the lowest was approximately 4 lac. Top Recruiting companies is paytm, Infosys, Ibm, Cisco, Tcs, Sonalika and etc. Most of students got internship from courses.
Infrastructure: The academic block of college is fine. Library have all the books regarding our courses and Wi-Fi are also good, lab contains all the instruments and all tools that's required in practical. Computers are fine and AC in lab are functioning. In hostel, mess is very good, we got different foods every day and food are nice, medical facilities are good but not available at night. In campus all sports are available like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, basketball and etc. and have auditorium.
Faculty: Teachers help sometimes, they help in attendance and also help in exam preparation, also in internship and in placement. This course curriculum is relevant but not much more. It make the students industry ready. Semester exams are little bit difficult and pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose IT. In this course I learn every thing regarding IT and learn new in every semester. Campus crowd not much more, and get scholarship every year.

The infrastructure, faculty, and placements are average, but the environment is good.
Placements: Companies visited on campus in 2024 are Infosys, Quark, Chic Mic, Growth Native, Pie Infotech, Xenon Sack, Cognizant, etc. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 9 LPA or 9 LPA - 11 LPA. In recent years, mechanical students have received a salary package of 7 LPA. One student from CSE got placed off-campus with a salary package of 25 LPA from Cisco. There are around 60 offers, and 50 students have placed till now. Our college provides average placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but the speed and range are not good. The library is available but only at college times. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. There are no smartboards or projectors in classrooms. There are only blackboards. There is a small campus which is spread over 10 acres of land for engineering and law students. The girls' hostel is big enough to accommodate all girls, but the boys' hostel is small only for toppers, others have to rent a PG outside the college. The mess food is good and cheap. There is one medical centre also. There is no sports culture. There is only one sports meet per year.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful but some are knowledgeable, and some are not. The syllabus and exams are according to the Panjab University curriculum, which is good. It is easy to pass semester exams. If students have a good attitude towards teachers and if they are disciplined, then it is easy to pass. Otherwise, some students have arrears also.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in engineering since childhood, but now it is fading slowly on this campus. There have been no engineering workshops, events, or fests in my entire years at this college. Only a few extracurricular activities are held.
