Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements for the mechanical branch are not good. Placements are decent for CSE and ECE courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Hostels are not good. They need renovation. It is better to stay in PGs.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite dedicated to students. Our department faculty members care about their students. They are good. They try hard to teach students.
Other: Mechanical students mostly write GATE or other competitive exams. I would not recommend joining this college for students who want placements.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members but average placements in mechanical and civil.
Placements: Most of the 2nd and 3rd-year students get internships in nearby industries in Mohali, Dera Bassi, and industrial areas. Students who have connections get internships in big companies like Tata, Godrej, etc. For a 6-months internship in the 8th semester, you have to do it in big companies.
Infrastructure: The quality of food served in the mess is good but there are no canteen facilities. After lockdown, the canteen isn't open yet. In sports and games, you have to do everything yourself. There is very less involvement of college. Wi-Fi facility is available in CAD labs. Library is good and you will get all books.
Faculty: In our college, faculty members are well qualified and have deep knowledge. They will help you when you are stuck in any problem. From my point of view, not all subjects are necessary. Few subjects have no use in the industry. The 6th-semester examinations are quite tough compared to other semester examinations.
Other: There are three types of scholarship provided namely, merit-based, category-based, and EWS.

He got 2 offers, and one of them was from Uber India. Another student was placed this year in Walmart with a package of 30 LPA. So placement-wise, the college is good. Every consecutive year, placements are getting better.
Infrastructure: The college has 2 boys' and 1 girls' hostels with a very low fee, around 4,000 per year. Hostels offer good food at low price. The college has a football and cricket ground with basketball courts. The college has a good infrastructure. Construction is going on. The government is investing money in this college, and a new academic building is under construction. A new boys' hostel will also be constructed soon.
Faculty: This college comes under Panjab University. All the examinations and curriculum are organised by Panjab University, which is one of the top universities of India. At the end, you get a Panjab University degree. Teachers are good. They are well qualified. Since it is a government college, all the professors here are recruited by UPSC.
