Not a bad college but room for improvement.
Placements: About 80% placed. Average salary was 5 Lacs per annum. Students were offered jobs in digital media mostly with few placed in print media. Almost all the students got to do internships in various fields across India. Yes the placement cell is quite useful as students play an active role in it.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure of industry standards. 3 huge studios as well as photography studios we're present for students to practice and do their assignments. Hostels were brilliant with only one or two person to share with, with an attached washroom. Students and staff were quite nice.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful with great insight into the field. Had many guest faculty members from the industry who were also helpful during internships and placements. Various classroom activities and assignments required stepping out of the college campus to do it.

If you wish to join SIMC, think again.
Placements: The placement process is fair. Mostly channels, production houses come for placements. The average salary is not too high and you mostly join as a creative trainee. There is placement cell which looks after the affairs of placement procedure. Film production houses do not come placements. There is not guarantee of placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is mesmerizing when you first look ATIT but then it becomes dull and mundane. It's too far away from the city so travelling is major issue. Boys hostel is leniant but girls hostel have too many rules. Mess and hostel are a little far. The utilities shop inside campus rules a monopoly.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed well but it is not covered well. There are very few lectures covering vast syllabus. Only are few faculty members are interesting and know about there subject. There are only 3 permanent faculty for audio visual course which is too less for amount of fees charged to the students. Facility is a huge disappointment.
Other: Inter Symbiosis events takes places (as it is very difficult to reach this campus. ). The campus administration treats it like a jail. This place is not organic enough to grow as a person.

A great college to be in. Amazing life on the hills.
Placements: There are a number of good opportunities that are provided by the campus placements. The average package is more than the other colleges. Few companies like Sony, Viacom, etc. come every year for the placement season. There are different roles that are offered to students depending on their interest and work area. More than 90 percent students got places for their internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. There are various facilities provided to us like Wi-Fi, hostel, swimming pool, badminton court, volleyball court, computer lab, mac lab, multi-camera studio, photography studio, etc. The resources are available anytime. The classrooms are clean and have a good seating capacity. The food available in the canteen is decent. The hostel rooms are clean and are very well maintained. There were no issues faced related to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. The knowledge that is shared is great. Various teaching methods are used to teach which includes theoretical as well as practical sessions. For example, students are taken out for photography assignments. There are various faculties who come from the industry to teach. They prepare us according to the industry and tell us about their experiences as well which is very helpful for us as students to prepare for the future. The course curriculum is useful as we are taught multiple subjects. It's such a vast topic and most of them are covered in the course.
