I recommend you to join this college.
Placements: There are no possibilities for placements in our college. Placements are quite low in core departments. The salary package is quite low. Students should find internships on their own. Top companies do not hire freshers from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The food served at the hostel is not good. The hostel is old. There are issues with water. Wi-Fi is available, but not enough for our studies. Sports and games are played. There is no one to train students. The library is good. It has many books.
Faculty: Teachers are good and well-trained. The teaching quality is good, but we fail to reach the industry. They need to improve with advanced technology. Exams are quite difficult. It is difficult to achieve a passing percentage of more than 60%.
Other: I chose the civil department to start construction and startups. I have learned many things from the course. The connectivity is good. Campus surroundings are good and peaceful.

Review of Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology.
Placements: There are no placements in the civil department. There are no possibilities for placements in the core department. You can get placed in an IT company with a low salary package if you are lucky.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Wi-Fi is available, but the data is limited. It is not sufficient to browse. The food in the hostel is not good. I can still remember the old fan in our room, which would fall on our heads at any time. There are more mosquitos and bugs.
Faculty: Teachers are efficient and well-trained. They have great teaching skills. We are not ready for the industry. There is a huge gap in our curriculum. We are not trained for industry. Exams are quite normal. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I have no idea why I chose the course. No matter what course you choose, you need to shine in that course. We can start our own businesses and new startups in construction.

Our college has good teachers.
Placements: There are no placements in our course. Students in other departments were offered salary packages ranging from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Our seniors are placed in well-known companies with good salary packages. They have the opportunity to go abroad and work there.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have a good environment. We have access to a lot of equipment in labs. Wi-Fi is available for study purposes only, and other websites are blocked. The hostel is good, and the food served at the hostel is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable. Some of them graduated from IITs and NITs. The teaching is good and easy to understand. We need to study for semester exams. It is easy to pass them.
Other: I chose this course because I like it.

Faculty members are good. The College campus is excellent.
Placements: There is low chance of placements. There need to be placements in the civil department. Only some companies come forward for posts. I need to learn about the packages in posts. Unfortunately no placements. The internship percentage is low—no guidance from the faculty.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and lab facility is good. The civil department building is good. Our college is one of the old colleges. I could remember the old fan in my hostel, which was too noisy and likely to fall at any time. We have got a vast library and labs.
Faculty: The faculty and teaching are good. Our faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They also share their real-time experience and knowledge. Of course, many faculty have cleared many competitive examinations. We need to get better at guiding students to face competitive exams.
Other: I am still trying to figure out why I choose this course. I have an existential crisis written on my forehead. More sports events take place, but I never stepped into the ground. Our campus is well populated. Good atmosphere. We have Wi-Fi in every department but only 50Mb, which is needed.

It is an excellent college with good infrastructure, but placements need to be improved.
Placements: None of the students was placed through on-campus. Companies related to the civil branch did not visit our college. Companies related to insurance are common for all branches. None of the students got internships in our batch, but we were given training for soft skills through placement training.
Infrastructure: Soil, concrete, highway, survey, CADD and environmental laboratories are available in this college. Both departmental and central libraries are also available here. Wi-Fi connections are not given properly. There are facilitated classrooms with projectors. They have an average quality of food and room facilities.
Faculty: Every permanent staff members are equally well-qualified. Their teaching quality is good, and they are well-knowledgeable in their respective specialisation areas. Collectively they have a good helping tendency and guides students towards a good future as perfect professionals.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to study mathematics and engineering, which is close to my HSC marks. It has many opportunities for government jobs for a civil engineer, so I have chosen civil engineering. Practical knowledge and experience should be given on time in the course.
