It has less infrastructure and experienced staff members.

Placements: Placements are not so great on this campus. Small companies visit the college for placements. Only a few students get selected if they have practical knowledge. In the year 2021, only 60 students got placed out of 300 students.

Students need to study ourselves, teachers will touch on the topic they need to study deeply.

Placements: Nowadays many companies like IBM visit TPGIT college for placements. Around 10-30 students are selected for every 120 students so they need to be the best of the remaining students to get a job for students, and they need to be very clear in current affairs.

Review of Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology.

Placements: Since I am going to pass out this year, I got placement opportunities in companies like VVDN Technologies, Cerium Systems, Facilio (tied-up with Zoho) and some marketing companies. We also had the opportunity to write AMCAT test and to apply for jobs with a low fee of Rs. 200 for every student with a complete one-year subscription. Based on the results of three tests conducted by AMCAT, you can apply for desired jobs in your desired companies. I also got placed in TCS, Cognizant, VVDN Technologi...

A good and satisfied ambience and coaching.

Placements: 42-45students are placed every year for each course. Im not sure about the salary details offered. Multi Nation companies offers hiring and vacancies. Roles offered are practicals, theoretical exams semester wise and projects. Low package compared to private colleges. 20-30 % of internships, rather than internships own projects from students are recommended.

It is an excellent college with good infrastructure, but placements need to be improved.

Placements: None of the students was placed through on-campus. Companies related to the civil branch did not visit our college. Companies related to insurance are common for all branches. None of the students got internships in our batch, but we were given training for soft skills through placement training.

The college is best according to the fee. It has average placements with decent infrastructure.

Placements: Placement percentage is fair in our college, and recruiting companies will offer the salary package ranging from 2.7 LPA to 4 LPA for BE, ECE. Mostly Students will be sent for off campus drives. Internship percentage is also fair. The role offered is at trainee level. Those companies recruiting through on-campus are good to develop our industry knowledge and experience.

The college has good infrastructure and laboratories.

Placements: Our college is a government college and is affiliated to Anna University. So Anna University organises the off-campus drives for the final year students. Most of the IT companies like TCS, CTS, HCL Wipro and some of the marketing companies which need good engineers will conduct the placements drives. Until now, nearly 10 students were placed in the IT field, and the starting salary package offered was Rs. 25,000 per month.

I'm satisfied. It was worth of money with good infrastructure, faculty and environment..

Placements: The students with 8 CGPA or more are sure to get placed. Many companies visited early for recruiting talented students. Along with major core companies like Samsung and Microsoft, many software and game developing companies like Zoho, TCS, and Wipro, etc., visited the college for placements. The college has a placement training cell. Many of the students are placed in leading PSU and central government companies.

A very good platform to improve your career.

Placements: Placement is almost high and it is improved when the student has better knowledge and skills. Our seniors are placed in some good companies and also they have good salary. But only 10 to 20 percent of students only placed in the companies because the students didn't have interest to improve her/his knowledge and skills.

Engineering is fulfilled with memories.

Placements: The placements are not too high on the campus. They have arranged as much as possible they can. Our batch received three companies, and my senior batch also received the same. There are some placement training classes with pay on your interest in outsourcing. By utilising all these things, you can achieve placement from VIT off-campus, if you don't have arrear.

Very affordable and worthy college.

Placements: The college has less percentage of placements. Only a few companies recruit the students from our college, so we have to attend placement exams in other colleges as well. The college placement cell area is funny sometimes, and they'll bring a company which doesn't make sense to our course, for example, IDBI Life Insurance.

Degree for a namesake. I don't recommend this to students

Placements: This is not a great college for placements. They provide off-campus with VIT. Even in this, the number of students who got placed will be within 15 every year out of a total of 140. The so-called core companies that the college brings doesn't have any reputation, and two or three may be selected with the core company. The students who got selected through off-campus of VIT got a salary in the range 3 to 3.5 LPA. In 2017, out of a total of 136 students, only 12 got placed that too through VIT. Th...

The college infrastructure is very good.Faculty members are helpful.Ragging is strictly prohibited.Surprise tests are taken so students try and stay as up-to-date as possible in subjects such as Finance and Economics.Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them.

Teaching in the college is unsatisfactory!! Since it’s a Govt college ample of well experienced doctorate faculties are there but still they hardly take classes. On campus placements are below average in the college and only a few off campus pool drives take place. But still lots of motivational programmes and pre placement talks do happen. Pros: Library facilities are excellent and entire college has a lush green ambient.
